I have a routine when I start a new contract at a new office. On my first day, I walk around and take note of those people who prominently display crosses and Bible verses on their office walls. I then know right then and there those people who will inevitable try and stab me in the back first.
Many evangelicals use religion as a blanket to cover up the sociopath inside and deflect suspicion from all the truly rotten stuff they are continually up to.
I cannot deny the fact that there are some folks that call themselves Christian that are huge hypocrites. There are hypocrites in every walk of life, not matter if they are spiritual/religious, or not. But, to paint all Christians in this light is very disingenuous.
Christians are no different than anyone else; they know they are messed up just like everyone else. The difference? We’re forgiven for it and through repentance, we turn from it and try to be better. Sometimes its one step forward, two steps back. Other times its two steps forward, one step back.
