America has lost the war on drugs as overdose-related deaths have quadrupled in the past decade. Overdoses from fentanyl are now the leading cause of death for Americans aged 18 to 45. There was even a 109% increase in childhood deaths (10-19) from 2019 to 2021. Around 106,699 Americans died from drug usage in 2021 – more deaths than the number of service members killed in Iraq and Afghanistan combined. About 80,411 of those deaths (75.4% of all overdoses) were due to opioids like fentanyl. There is an internal enemy within our borders that no one discusses. Where is the outrage?
Perdue and the Sackler family have blood on their hands. The Sackler family owns Perdue Pharmaceuticals and was responsible for creating a pushing the sale of lethal drugs such as oxycontin. The Sacklers hired consulting firm McKinsey & Company and sales agents to “turbocharge” the sale of Oxycontin. McKinsey & Company initially wanted to payoff the insurance companies $14,000 per overdose or patient turned addict. The drug was initially marketed as SAFE AND EFFECTIVE. They claimed less than 1% of patients would become addicted.
Companies such as Cardinal Health, Johnson & Johnson, McKesson, and AmerisourceBergen were forced to pay $26 billion in their role in the opiod crisis. However, no company was as influential as Perdue. The family paid $225 million for civil claims but has not faced any criminal charges. Now, the opioid epidemic is in the hands of cartels and foreign actors who bring drugs over our border.
The situation in America has become so dire that the Biden Administration would like to train school teachers on using the overdose revival drug, naloxone. “Our schools are on the frontlines of this epidemic, but our teachers and students can be equipped with tools to save lives,” the letter notes. Unlike the original opioid epidemic, consumers of the substances do not know what is in their counterfeit drugs. Cartels add fentanyl because it is cheaper and makes the product stronger, resulting in countless accidental overdoses.
The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has said numerous times that the majority of fentanyl in America is produced in China and then shipped to Mexico where they smuggle it into the United States. India is also producing fentanyl and being closely monitored. “China remains the primary source of fentanyl and fentanyl-related substances trafficked through international mail and express consignment operations environment, as well as the main source for all fentanyl-related substances trafficked into the United States. Seizures of fentanyl sourced from China average less than one kilogram in weight, and often test above 90 percent concentration of pure fentanyl,” the DEA report notes.
“Fentanyl production and precursor chemical sourcing may also expand beyond the currently identified countries as fentanyl lacks the geographic source boundaries of heroin and cocaine as these must be produced from plant-based materials,” the report concluded. Smugglers can simply walk across the border and back, as we have absolutely zero national security. Where is the outrage? Over 1,500 Americans die each week because we have permitted out enemies to enter our border and destroy the nation from within.

Never going to get rid of drugs. What’s the answer?
Reduce the demand side by fixing our society.
Feminism is at the root of this: family destruction. Add in the Fed and welfare and incessant .gov micromanaging of people’s affairs. TV and .gov “education” by feelz instead of facts. Stay home and defend the border, cut the $Pentagon by 90+%, abolish the tax system.

Think of America as a Jaguar. Looks great when it’s brand new, makes people look, wishing they were as lucky as the driver to have that Jaguar experience.
Then, after a few years, it catches fire every so often, requires expensive repairs for as long as you own it, the only replacement parts available are after market foreign ones that never work out and cost far more than the original purchase price, until finally it just sits in the driveway, all rusted out and non-functional with only memories of it’s former glory holding the weakened parts together. It is nothing more than an empty husk, a shell of its former self with no value except as scrap.
It’s time to get a new ride.

Question for Hardscramble: When we “replace” our system, will it be the same KM stinky turd wrapped in a new wrapper ?….. that is all we get, repackage of ever increasing foul turds and told to accept it as the greatest ever. That has to stop, so what exactly do you propose?? Lay it out in simple terms, it’s easy to shout change (change is a progressive/commie) buzz word. Replace/change it’s all the same.

Glock- The problem is the mafias that run every government in the world without retribution under the law. They are lawless wrecking balls. Until mafias are dealt with, the drugs will remain a big part of their profits.

I have had back issues for 25 years. Been through it all with physical therapy then onto epedural injections and pain clinics. The last pain management doctor met with me and explained how the next jump up in strength was the time release opiod that has a 60% addiction rate. I asked for alternatives and he recommended the new Medical Marijuana program for the state I live in.
I did some research on MM and found for some people pain and stiffness can be treated by something that grows out of the ground and has been used for thousands of years.
But not all MM is equal. The strength of the flowers they sell you can go from 16% to 34% THC and at the higher rates I did not get very good pain relief. My state has you vaporize the flowers in a ( my choice ) $300 vaporizer that looked like Sherlock Holmes pipe. I did some more research and then I had a though. I had to get a specific Doctor who works with the MM program to get the ” permit” to use MM so why not ask him.
Best decision of my life as I was about to go back to the pain clinic for the hillbilly heroin. The Doctor explained the difference types of tinctures and vaporizers with edibles as an option. He also told me about something called RSO or Rick Simpsons Oil.
Rick Simpson was a Canadian who experimented with Marijuana in the 70’s after a cancer diagnosis. He actually believed that marijuana could cure cancer. Spoiler nope but the product was what I was looking for. Due to rules set up by the state MM must be pure strain with historical lineage noted on the box. The THC /CBD Terpenes and types of terps are noted as well as tested % and total amounts in MG. I checked my lisinopril bottle and it does not even have a county of origin on it. Basically RSO is Hash oil. As the chemicals have already been carboxilated during process all of the THC has been converted to Delta9 THC meaning the oil can be vaporized, eaten, placed in mouth for absorbtion or smoked and does not have to be converted from THCa which needs to be converted by the liver to give the poperties we are looking for. Marijuana is mostly THCa with a small % of THC ^9.
Strain specific means they can grow plants with different terpenes and amounts of THC and CBD. CBD is useful for inflamation and helps dampen the spacy parts of the THC load. This helps with well known anxiety issues at higher doses.
I use RSO daily and used it for my recent Laminectomy and will use RSO for my upcoming interbody fusion of L3 at the end of this month instead of Opiod medication.
Not saying it will work for everyone but the medical establishment does a poor job with opiods. The folks who die are not the long term users they know the game. The ones being picked off went to the doctor for a shoulder or a back and were given extremely dangerous drugs and then when done given no support for the addictive nature of the drug.
Curious: have you tried CBD oil? There’s a company called Medterra that sells strong versions of it.
Yes I was using a CBD only vaporizer to curb the higher doses when I started. I found out that a full spectrum source worked much better to balance the pain management, emotional support and inflamation. Oil and vape are way different. CBD follows the same rules as THC with the oral oils and gummies need to be converted in the liver. This conversion with high doses of CBD ( and THC) are thought to be the reason some folks can get the pukies and can move your liver numbers in blood tests in weird ways.
BTW most disensaries sell a high CBD low THC flower that can be used. CBD patches and gummies are also available.
Was/am in the same boat. Nerve pain 24/7, both sciatic nerves firing. Been on fentinal, hydromorph contin, morphine, etc and the doctor nearly killed me twice.
I found that the CBD needs the THC to be effective and for me the best was a two to one ratio of CBD/THC. Don’t use it anymore, not because it didn’t work but because it got priced out of my orbit.
I also found the higher strengths didn’t make any differences as the lower strength oils worked for me with fewer issues. Great comment Jim. appreciated

Look for a specific RSO and try again. As cost is a factor Seed and Strain is a house brand for Colombia Care. A gram or RSO is $16.50 on sale and last me 4 days. I look for sales as I could not use RSO at $40 a gram.
Does China have a death caused by fentanyl problem ?
If it does, would we even know?
Opiates are the safest best pain medication out there.
That said, opiates are definitely FAFO as the numbers of deadees who fucked around and found out are climbing.
As a long term pain patient who has been on all the pain meds…opiates by far are the most effective and safe.
For an opiate acclimated person as myself, it would take at least 400mg [26 x 15mg oxy pills] for me to be even close to overdosing. Anyone who takes that much deliberately? Their death is on their own fucking head.
Go old school. Mexican Black Tar (widely available in the south west) used responsibly, is great for all kinds of physical and mental pain. It is virtually impossible to tamper with, without being obvious. Not as addictive as any other opiate.
Smoke it, don’t cook it and inject it (irresponsible).
Fuck pharmaceutical pain meds.
A former neighbor with a plate in his arm from an industrial accident, has swallowed ONE Perc or Vic pre day under scrip, for like a couple decades. He swigs a couple beers and some Bourbon after work while in front of the TV. He has never once tried to overdo the opioids or find the illicit stuff (which, BTW, should be legal and pure, instead of black market).
It may be easy to say this, but one facet of the opioid abuse is likely our soft, infantilized, indulgent society. One may resist the urge to zero suffering, which itself causes more suffering, not less. It’s alright not to have perfection 24/7, but we’re told otherwise. Having it all is the falsest sale pitch, ever.
Some have genetically predisposed addictive personalities, some don’t. Addiction is way more complicated than societal factors.
I have friends/relatives that don’t have problems with drinking/ prescription drugs, and I have some that are dead from it. Every story is different.
This is a lie. The number one cause of death in this age bracket is the COVID vax bioweapon. Show us the death certificates and autopsy reports. But of course they have falsified those to hide this genocide. Jesus will bring us justice. Hold on and pray and read all of the psalms
