The camera tracks the lunar lift off perfectly and on time!
Where did that 2.5 second earth to moon delay go?
The one thing that finally convinced me that it was all
faked was that EVERYTHING, from the engineering drawings,
the telemetry, the design blueprints are gone.
All of it. Nothing remains.
They want us to believe the greatest by far engineering feat
ever by man is lost. They can’t find a single bit of it.
NASA somehow lost ALL of the plans for the most amazing machine
humanity ever invented……
Right.

Oh, I forgot about the dune buggy!
People were getting bored with the hopping around shit,
so NASA says, “lets send up a 2 man CAR!” with ZERO
modifications to the LEM. “Just stick a car on the side.”
How much does a coupe de luna with 60s era batteries weigh?

Also the lack of a blast crater under the lunar lander, no dust on the lunar landing pods, several different shadow angles from supposedly a single light source, hundreds of degrees extreme temperature differentials between night and day that would have destroyed the film, cameras mounted to the chest of the astronauts but yet all these photographs were perfectly shot, the lunar module looks like a grade school art project, etc., etc., etc. So much doesn’t add up. It was obviously faked!

I remember growing up and hearing people
Saying moon landing was fake and thinking coo-coo. Then few years ago saw article that they found missing original moon landing footage in some army surplus store tapes!?that’s when I started looking into it and my goddd wtf!? How the hell do they lose the the single most important evidence of the most important event in human history?!!!!
Eye opener for sure….i wonder what other lies we are in the dark about still

If there are structures on the moon we should have seen them with telescopes from earth.

If we left junk on the moon we should be seeing that as well.

There is a limit as to what size objects can be resolved with a telescope ( the Rayleigh limit) that depends on the size of the aperture. Telescopes on earth simply aren’t big enough to resolve the lunar lander at this distance (or whatever else you have in mind) even assuming you could overcome the effects of air turbulence. You’d have to be a lot closer to the moon (and apparently some of the JSA lunar surveys have shown some evidence of the lander’s presence in their photos).

Telescopes on earth simply aren’t big enough to resolve the lunar lander at this distance

Where the hell did you get that information? This is from space.com:

Despite space observatories such as the Hubble Space Telescope (HST) and James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) being closer to the action, ground-based telescopes can achieve greater dimensions and are far less restricted by weight. When telescopes on Earth are built in a good location, with wide sky views, they can focus on a range of specific areas or events — unlike space telescopes which need to be in the right place at the right time.

Some of the largest telescopes are serving as Earth’s eyes to explore supernovas, galaxies and other distant objects.

So you’re saying Earth-based telescopes can see into the farthest reaches of the Universe — even take pictures of the supposed black hole at the center of our galaxy — but can’t get any shots of the alleged Moon landing sites, not even one?

Something’s wrong with both of these stories.

Wife’s father worked as the chief engineer at Rockwell on Apollo. Never knew about this controversy before he died in the mid 80s so never got to ever discuss with him the issues. His mother went to her grave NEVER believing we went to the moon (he freely acknowledged that). What he did was all about the rockets, which millions watched take off both on TV and in person. So many silos, so much security (from the Soviets remember…LOL) that very few knew enough to put all the pieces together. He was no Mason. It would have been an interesting conversation. He talked about a book they gave him on the way home from WW2 that was the story of the war. He said from his own perspective, it was at least 75% bullshit. I suspect he had his own questions/doubts. But that great job (also worked on the B1 and several other planes) put food on the table for a family of 8 and allowed his wife to stay home all the while. No way we went beyond the atmosphere and the Van Allen belts.

By “we” my implication was human beings…not necessarily mechanical devices. And the earth’s “atmosphere” is a broad and general term with lots of various meanings. Human beings have never personally, in their skin sacks, successfully gone to the moon.

MrLiberty, have you ever had an x-ray at the doctor’s office? The Van Allen belts are like an x-ray, albeit a bit more severe. If you stay in the x-ray machine for 24 hrs you would be dead, but 5 minutes doesn’t have any adverse effects. Same with the VA belts. The belts are like two doughnut rings that circle the earth with the innermost belt being more dangerous (and they don’t enclose the earth towards the poles). Apollo missions bypassed inner belt and went through outer belt very quickly to minimize total radiation dosage to manageable levels. Many of the astronauts even noted seeing flashes in their vision as a cosmic ray would pass through their eye.

I certainly don’t put it past the govt to lie about anything, particularly after what I’ve seen in the last few years. But we most definitely have the technology to put a man on the moon (or past the VA belt) given what we did with all of the space satellites, the explorer satellites, Skylab, Apollo-Soyuz, the ISS and so on. No one is denying any of those. And yes, all of the geosynchronous satellites are above the van Allen belt so we are fully capable of going above it. If we weren’t, all those folks watching DirectTV would have a helluva time maintaining a signal with a static dish antenna.

When was the first TV signal successfully sent using a satellite repeater?

Anonymous

[Old article]

Fifty years ago today, on July 12, 1962, the first ever live television signal was beamed across the Atlantic Ocean, ushering in a new era of communications that paved the way for the globally connected world we live in today.

The Syncom I1 communications spacecraft (1963 31A) launched on July 26, 1963, was designed
primarily as an active repeater satellite capable of simultaneous two-way transmission of several
telephony channels. Following its placement in a 22,300-mile synchronous orbit, early in August
1963 narrowband communications experiments were successfully conducted.
In an extension of the planned experimentation, tests were conducted to evaluate the Syncom I1
system capability for handling a reduced bandwidth television signal. A series of tests utilizing
the Syncom I1 spacecraft was initiated in August 1963 and, in September 1963, culminated in the
first successful transmission of television through a synchronous satellite.
A second series of
tests was conducted in April 1964 to confirm the earlier results.
