Celebrating Christmas in all its glory is a declaration of war. It’s the MOST defiant act you could possibly take right now.
So for all you godless souls and those of you who are so uptight about Christmas and scared to celebrate traditions that came from pagans…get over it.
Get out there & celebrate LOUD & PROUD! For you are celebrating a season of miracles, where Christ was born in enemy territory with evil lurking all around, where Satan tries to steal the stage, where the world was changed forever…whether you like that fact or not.
I can’t help but notice the total absence of the word ‘Christmas’ in all of the decorations at any level — from those the city put up to those in store windows along the main drag of our small-town downtown area …
Even more upsetting … folks don’t even say ‘Merry Christmas’ here … it’s all just ‘happy holidays’ and such BS … as if someone will shoot them if they say the forbidden ‘Christmas’ word …

It’s tempting to think of Christmas as a celebration of “peace on earth and goodwill to men.” That’s comfortable and is what makes people feel good. BUT….the birth of Christ was actually a time of mystical fear, vigilance, and drama.

I don’t play that “Happy Holidays” game. If I’m told that, I respond with “Merry Christmas”. I had difficulty finding Christmas cards that actually said “Christmas”. So…I made my own.
