Well, looks like I finally got the first such info on people I know.

The rim of the pit/cauldron was where I was hanging on with my legs, while I was partially turning to stone in the lava pit. An impressive being was there. Part angel? Part balrog. He addressed me by a name I have never known, something cryptic and guttural starting with the letter M, but I answered to it. I was gradually turning to igneous rock in this magma pit.
He psychically mentioned I had been given EVERYTHING. Would I really throw my light away?
