Way back on Sept 8, 2023, Tom Luongo tweeted this out and started a disagreement with some of his followers about the label “sheeple”. I had completely forgotten about the exchange until I saw his article on Zerohedge where he dredged the whole thing up again and doubled down. The tweet shown in his article is not mine, I’m bcsurvivor7 but Clash and I were mostly in agreement and his replies were to both of us.

Merriam-Webster defines nihilism as:
[noun] a viewpoint that traditional values and beliefs are unfounded and that existence is senseless and useless. a doctrine that denies any objective ground of truth and especially of moral truths.
He should have looked up the word before he used it. It could be he was judging us based on just a couple of tweets, which is not any smarter than calling people sheeple. However, he claims in his article he doesn’t like to judge people. I agree that sheeple is not a nice term and we won’t win hearts and minds calling people derogatory names.
I replied that I was a realist. Here is the definition of realist, again from Merriam-Webster:
realist: [noun] a person who recognizes what is real or possible in a particular situation : one who accepts and deals with things as they really are.
Jesus was hardly a nihilist and yet he called people sheep. I think he knows humans better than we know ourselves.
The American Heritage Dictionary defines sheeple as:
People who unquestioningly accept as true whatever their political leaders say or who adopt popular opinion as their own without scrutiny.
Maybe it is derogatory but the definition fits.
Tom doesn’t like the term “sheeple” for the very reason that it is derogatory. So then he calls them “normies” in this tweet: (a direct reply to my tweet that we can’t vote our way out of this)
It’s not about ‘voting our way’ out of this mess. It’s about forcing them to expose the hypocrisy to those who still believe that we can!

Normie was harder to find a satisfactory definition for because the definitions were all over the place but KnowYourMeme.com defined it as:
a slang pejorative label for an individual who is deemed to be boringly conventional or mainstream by those who identify themselves as nonconformists.
Well, that’s not very nice, either.
Tom thinks a better term is “comfortable wolves”.
Hmmm, wolves hunt in packs and prey on the weak and defenseless. That’s exactly what people would act like if the food runs out. But it doesn’t say much for humanity, does it?
Tom doesn’t like to label people sheep so he labels them wolves. Then he goes on to label people who, for the most part, are agreeing on what the problem is but disagreeing on labels, nihilists.
How about we quit arguing about what to label people and just continue to try to keep waking people up?
I could go on and on about Luong’s incoherent article but most of the readers here are quite intelligent. I will just let you all decide for yourselves.
Tom will probably not like my reply to his article and I expect he would triple down. That’s the problem with us non-conformists. We tend to end up in a circular firing squad. Labels represent divisions, and so your last sentence “we better get our shit together and soon.” Unfortunately in spite of all the accomplishments of western civilization its entire history is best described by your image of the circular firing squad. Since ancient times if there was anything to separate or divide the white race and set it against itself then the lines were drawn and the killing started. Theology, politics, economics and everything in between have all been used as excuses to annihilate each other and provide some flimsy justification for the bloodshed.
This perpetual clash of Big Enddians vs Little Enddians has finally honed itself to the point that it represents an existential threat. The more prescient among us have been screaming for years “Tribe up or die”; but instead we not only keep labeling and dividing but have actively embraced the barbarian ways which were antithetical to our forebears. Seems like the tribe/hive mind is just not in our genetics, or perhaps we just see that as a weakness.
So as you say we better get our shit together quick or we all die alone, each one with their thin line drawn in the sand surrounded by a pile of hot brass. What good has that done when your enemy is not afraid to have babies when times get a little rough?. Western man has more than a few fatal flaws. Labels and our artificial divisions are among the worst.

I agree with your explanation and characterization of Luongo. He is a special “piece of work” and I liked him enough at first to take out 2 yearly subscriptions for a healthy pricetag. Finally, he became unreadable, with wanton ignorance and arrogance (phrase borrowed from the definition of “hubris”).
Instead of saying what he believes in correct English grammar, he puts out some sort of coded messages that I guess “normies” are supposed to understand and be in awe of his copias abilities and confess to our diminutive comprehension. Since he is so much smarter than us, I can only guess that what he is saying is “sheeples” is terrible and “comfortable wolves” is better. He still hasn’t figured out yet just how corrupt and evil (yes, that is the best word for even attempting to blow up the entire world and all the fake fiat money systems).
Oh well, he blocked me because I disagreed with him and reamed me out about many things if I dared to even attempt to offer competing thoughts, even if they were easily proved to be correct. One example: the Nordstream pipeline fiasco. Seymour Hersch was on this right away and named the corrupt deep state operatives’ culpability, yet Luongo vacillated between Davos, the WEF, Great Britain, and Poland or some combination of them without inciting even a hint of the US/NATO kleptocrats/traitors headquartered in Washington D.C.
I could go on for a long time, but I know the opposite of ‘love’ is not ‘hate’ but ‘indifference’. I guess maybe indifference is the best way to handle the potty mouthed TFL.

He also makes bizarre claims in order to steal the conversation. Like saying that Yellen had a chance at the WH or that The West allowed Israel to tax Gaza because Egypt wasn’t playing ball with the IMF.
I enjoy reading Tom’s articles and listening to his videos but, honestly, most people are apathetic and ignorant cowards. They choose to look the other way because they prefer having smoke blown up their ass while scorning any responsibility of shining a light of truth on the darkness of this world. They just don’t ‘care’ about truth (truth being merely that which has already occurred, pass-tense)

– Sometimes The Borg makes sure Plan A doesn’t happen in order to confound and discredit truthtellers. This way, Plan B or C moves forward (or the names are changed to protect the guilty) as truthtellers are ridiculed on “fact”checker sites about false conspiracy theories regarding Plan A
– The Borg’s assimilation of the free internet is near complete. Truth is dissappearing online as A.I. f*ckery grows. And search engines are broken.
– Most
peoplesheeple want what The Borg wants. Or, at the very least, they don’t care. After all, the Super Bowl is coming up and a new season of “The Bachelor” is on too– It’s pretty late

As technical as they can be, davos isn’t very smart. The fact that they feel like they need this reset is evidence enough that they’re not competent enough to run things. They should leave it to God.
I prepare, build relationships with people around me, and do a lot of praying for that unity.
