Happy to concede 5 million under Trump assuming the above numbers are off by more than 100%. This would make Biden’s numbers about 16 million or more, which seems credible.
What I’d really like to know is why we’ve seen articles recently from ostensible “conservatives” citing numbers under Biden at 6 million, or 5 million, and even 2.5 million.
The numbers above say 2 million under Trump, and 8 million under Biden with a year to go. Add whatever factor one likes to account for “got aways”, Biden’s numbers will never add up to 6, or 5, or 2; so what gives with such reports?
Trump’s number are around 2 million (2017 – 2020), which is too many. Joey has brought in that many each of the years of his administration & I suspect ’24 will be almost double Trump’s 4-yr total.

Trump not good, but better. First it took him time to shut Obama’s border down, he couldn’t do that overnight, but Biden could and did open the border day one. Second Trump had a very hostile Congress that sued over almost every executive order he signed, which put stays on much of his legislation and allowed illegal entry to continue. Third he had to also deal with the legal harassment and lies of the Democrats. Forth Trump also had to deal with treacherous establishment Republicans in Congress who had always favored illegal immigration for cheap labor for their rich contributors who want them here, just to remain illegal to better exploit.
So what he did was indeed somewhat impressive.
Yet you don’t see the current GOP suing every executive order of Biden in court and Biden ignores Supreme Court decisions anyway like student loan debt. The Supreme court said he had no right to forgive the debt, but Biden went ahead and did it anyway. Even his own Speaker Pelosi complained about Biden bypassing Congress. The Democrats have made Congress irrelevant by their acceptance of his executive actions.
