I used to think no election as well, until I realized an easier pathway was in place for Democrats. Once Biden secures the nomination, he can announce he’s not running. Then his campaign and the DNC can “reassign” his delegates to their chosen (AKA real) candidate. It’s actually pretty simple. Then the real candidate can avoid the messy and expensive primary process and enter the general election with a huge financial advantage over the Republicans. The Biden regime and all of the media will call for every Dem to rally around the new candidate and “save Democracy”. Then the Dems have an easy convention anointing the new candidate. After that, they will refuse to debate Trump because he is “illegitimate” and giving him a national stage is dangerous. The new Dem candidate will generate some made up excitement in the media a waltz to the Presidency running the same exact playbook as 2020.
Only those candidates who have met each state’s requirements can get their names on that state’s general election ballots. They also require petitions and fees by a certain date which in most states has already passed except for independents. Nine states don’t even allow write-ins.
How does that work? If neither party has identified their presidential nominee yet, which doesn’t happen officially until after their nominating conventions this summer, how can the state requirements to be on a presidential ballot for this November already have passed? That’s definitely true for the primaries at this point, but nobody really knows yet who the party nominees for president will be.

The thing is, presidents and VP’s are not elected by popular vote. In fact, the people don’t need to vote at all for those two offices since it’s the electoral college that elects and if they don’t have a majority for one, then the congress votes for POTUS and the Senate for VP. Even if they didn’t get a vote from either of those, the term is up for Biden Jan. 20th 2025 at noon. Which means there would be NO PRESIDENT right? BUT WAIT! Since both POTUS and VP are Constitutional GONE on that date and time, the Constitutional crisis is fixed by none other than the 3rd in line, Speaker of the House, until a special election can be held.
