You can’t argue facts with people who have rejected reason and base all their views upon ’emotion’; instead, ask them ‘What right do you have to tell other people what to do?’
That link regarding Jupiter is a little suspect, but solar output is largely in control of Earth temperature.
Actually, apart from the fact the Sun does control our weather, the rest of that is completely wrong.
Solar cycles do not last in uniform 11-year cycles; it varies between 8 and 14 years. The reason for that is, the Sun is not a nuclear reactor, it is a conduit. It channels abundant cosmic energy, drawing it in at its poles and releasing it along its equator, along the solar plane, and is distributed to all the planets thusly.
All planets take this solar charge in the same fashion: at the poles, released along their equators. This creates a circuit. Naturally, the outer planets move much slower than the inner ones, so in the time it takes for their solar energy to be recycled, the inner planets sometimes pass through the circuit coming from them; and when it’s aligned just right, a giant planet like Jupiter or Saturn can cause a massive surge that wreaks havoc on the inner worlds.
As all planets follow the orbital plane, with just a few degrees of separation, and in regard to their planetary orbital tilts, the solar charge from them hits the Sun in different areas; this explains sunspots, and why they appear and disappear yet still follow a pattern.
This does not jibe with the nonsensical notion that the Sun is just a fusion reactor, which we were all taught in school, I realize, but which explanation seems logical to you: that the Sun is absorbing and distributing the apparently infinite cosmic energy which surrounds everything, or that it’s a ball of hydrogen with a limited fuel supply which is slowly running out? Because based on The Science™ there is no way that even a celestial body as large as the Sun could possibly store enough hydrogen in its core to sustain it for billions of years, it disagrees with their physics.
As usual, The Science™ has led us where the primroses lie.
The Sun is just a type and shadow of the glory of God that will be providing our light after the Sun is destroyed along with the heavens and Earth.
