I have played more golf in CO in January than I ever have in April.
Some pals and I used to put on a “tournamet” where one would drive an
hour to Loveland ski area, ski race for an hour or so, drive back to Denver, play
3 sets of tennis, and then 18 holes of golf on the same day and declare the winner.
It was never cancelled due to weather.

I have 3 golf courses nearby in both NH and MA that are open if the course is playable. I play often in winter if temps are over 40.
We used to play snow golf when I lived in Prince George back in the 80’s.
Three feet of snow, minus 20C and bright colored balls. It was the laughs and drinks afterwards that were the draw because it was hard work play’n the game. Which really was one or maybe two holes depending on the snows depth for that year.
Either that or dress for it, like I did this morning when I was skating on the nearby lake.

I miss my home state of NH, growing up there in the 70s and 80s as a kid was awesome. Lots to do year round. Fantastic hunting, fishing, atv riding, snowmobiling, beaches, mountains….. it sucks now those little northern towns I enjoyed are full of addicts and thieves. Thankfully still hardly any nignogs. Live, freeze and die.

Maine has a vast growing Somali population – Minnesota East.
NH is a good place. Just keep the libs away from the nor easter diverse cities and they should be good.
Wyoming is probably the coldest , windiest ,harshest, and prettiest place in the inter mountain west. Probably more guns than folks in that state. They have future issues with expats fleeing the Denver area and Kalifornians migrating to every state including the Cowboy state. Hoping they can keep WY wild, free, and strong.
