Awesome story. All of God’s creatures no grace when they are given it. Reminded me of a story from our Church. This happened in Minnesota. A very rural man was going into the city to get supplies when he spotted a bunch of cars pulled over on the side of the road. He got out and saw it was a black bear. It held up it’s paw. It had a big thorn in it. So, he walked up and pulled it out without any problems. On the way back he see’s cars pulled over again in the same place. This time he see’s the bear standing up with a basket in it’s mouth. The bear see’s the guy who pulled the thorn. It runs up and dropped the basket at his feet. It had a nice bunch of blueberries in it. Karma is very real, and highly visible in all parts of God’s Kingdom.
Animals seem to instinctively know to turn to humans for help out of desperation. They also have gratitude for that help. I saw a similar story in Thailand where an elephant was trying to flag down motorists to help her. A man answered the call for help and the elephant led him to her baby trapped in a well. He rescued the baby and from that point on the elephant would bring her baby by every day to visit him and thank him.
