In order to fully grasp what is occurring you must first establish the progress of an idea or policy.
We didn’t get to free speech restrictions by happenstance or accident, it was planned.
Criticism of a specific group of people in the US was growing according to groups that track that kind of thing. They dislike the criticism yet cannot legally stop people beyond bullying, censoring, alienating, slander and similar tactics.
What to do?
Create an atmosphere wherein it can be demonstrated that there exists a real need to legally prohibit free speech. How does one do that? Create a movement that can be pushed to criticize that group of people. Now place operatives within that movement that will either directly or through incitement turn those peaceful protests into violent ones and suddenly it’s shouting fire in a movie theater.
The purpose of the protests is two-fold; to create an atmosphere of anger that is believable enough to account for violent acts carried out by agent provocateurs, thereby calling for restrictions on both speech and protest and to acclimate the sympathetic portion of the population to willingly accept the massive importation of millions of Palestinians for humanitarian purposes, further diluting the American fabric..
Mission accomplished.
Never listen to narratives.
Always pay attention to what occurs.
Use your good sense and reasoning, arrive at a conclusion.
Once you apply this formula you will almost never be congratulated or rewarded, but you will rarely be surprised with the outcomes because you can see them coming for miles.

I was just thinking about the same things as I clicked onto tbp. Amidst the flurry and fury of the current things in the geoplitical and protest spheres, there seems to be a quiet and determined mobilization against free speech in this country. All of a sudden. On a more macro level, I’m starting to think we’re reaching the end of the ‘slowly’ phase and moving into the ‘all-at-once’ phase of things.
I’d prefer dangerous freedom instead of comfortable security at this point. Pretty obvious that right now the legal system is being weaponized against free speech in this country, more than it already was.
Road to hell is paved with good intentions they say, and our ‘benevolent’ wannabe dictators seem intent on starting us down such a path. This issue needs more attention, and I appreciate hsf bringng it up, as I was just about to do so myself.
