Compensation costs for public and private sector employers climbed 1.2 percent in the first quarter, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported Tuesday. That’s an acceleration from the prior quarter’s 2023 pace of 0.9 percent and the largest increase since the second quarter of 2022.
Seems like those promised rate cuts won’t be coming anytime soon!
How about a halt to all public employee compensation for three years. With the booming private economy engendered by “aBidenomics” there are abundant high paying private sector jobs for public servants seeking to leave.

Completely close down many gov’t agencies and lay off half the gov’t staff in every agency that remains… a good start.
