The enemy uses repetition because it works. So keep repeating this.

9 out of 10 people I speak with are totally bought into the climate crisis scam and will do whatever they are told. It doesn’t fill me with hope.

“The environmental crisis is the cornerstone for the New World Order” Maurice strong ( U.N. environmental leader ) was quoted as saying, ” Isn’t the only hope for the planet that the industrialized civilizations collapse? Isn’t it our responsibility to bring that about?”
James Garrison ( President of the Gorbachev Foundation ) says ” we are going to end up with world government. It’s inevitable… There’s going to be conflict, coercion and consensus. That’s all part of what will be required as we give birth to the first global civilization.”

Read their statements of intent, nothing is hidden.

Well, ol’ Bill is half right. It is total nonsense. But it’s total nonsense bacause THERE IS NO “climate issue” to “take care of”.

Other than that, the other guys are right.
6CO2 + 6H2O + sunlight –> C6H12O6

See, there’s even some math right in that little equation.
Besides, where does dim Bill think “man-made” CO2 comes from in the first place? Carbon from burning coal is carbon taken from the atmosphere by trees mostly in the Carboniferous Era. If it’s impossible for trees to absorb all that CO2; then it’s impossible for the burning of coal to release it.

SCIENTISM ladies and gents. The act of saying you are all about the science in order to color everything you do or profess to be 100% correct, especially when it is just made up shit. Frequently seen traveling hand in hand with CREDENTIALISM, which is the concept that possessing an overpriced piece of paper based on often questionable scholarship makes your ungrounded opinion unassailable in debate of issues.
FEELINGS over real science and real scholarship and research, dismissing the Scientific Method entirely.

Gates is right. Downvote away. Look, I don’t give care much about warming either way, but trees don’t “get rid” of CO2. They sequester it within themselves for a while. Ultimately they are burned or they rot or – to a small degree they are used for lumber – and even use as lumber only extends the period duration which they sequester co2. When trees rot on the forest floor, they emit the same co2 they had sequestered during their lifetime. The only way trees could be used to “get rid” of co2 would be to bury them after they’re grown. There are some small scale projects doing that, chipping and burying them. That’s not a feasible way of lowering atmospheric carbon on a large scale. The only currently available way to significantly reduce co2 in the atmosphere is for greater use of nuclear energy, with the safest method being liquid salt thorium reactors.

We don’t need to reduce CO2. It’s actually historically low. Below a certain threshold, it becomes a liability to life on Earth. And it bears no connection to humanity. It has fluctuated since before we appeared. Every volcano emits more than all of human industry ever has.

That’s an intentionally short-sighted answer based on a presumption of a closed system that doesn’t exist.

They sequester it within themselves for a while

Yeah? How long a while?

When trees rot on the forest floor, they emit the same co2 they had sequestered

You don’t say? What then? No more trees …. ever?

What happens if you plant trees; you let them grow; you let them live hundreds of years; you let the trees reproduce AS HAPPENS IN NATURE; and when a tree dies it is replaced by dozens of little trees in competition to take the big old dead tree’s place? What happens if that goes on for years and decades and centuries and millenia?
What’s that called?

How many tons of leaves fall in a forest in a single year?
Where did coal come from?
What happened to the 4000 to 7000 ppm CO2 levels that existed before the Carboniferous Era? {That’s ten to twenty TIMES the concentration that Billy wets his pants over today.} Where’d that carbon go?

You make some good points: sequestering for 100 years might be good (if you care about CO2 in the atmosphere which – again – I don’t) since it might allow for better energy-producing technologies to be created. Also, if you are planting trees to turn prairie land or brownfield into forest, then that’s a net reduction of carbon). So, points taken.

Depends on your time line. Left alone, those trees will sequester carbon for generations of humans. Burying them only slows the release. Rock stupid way to accomplish anything vis a vis the climate.

Bill Gates is a complete idiot. Heat pumps are only efficient down to about 40 degrees. The companies that sell them will tell you they work great in cold weather. I had one and when it got below freezing it ran continuously on “emergency heat” and never warmed up the house. Maybe they are better now. I plan to never find out. Gates is the guy who said we can reduce 10-15 percent of the population with vaccines. He is a science guy alright the science of depopulation.

HEMP is the greatest biomass plant on the planet. Zero fertilizer/pesticide requirements, tons of high protein seeds with perfectly balanced Omega 3/6 fatty acids, nourishes the soil it grows in, crowds out harmful/invasive weeds, useful to replace woodpulp paper and needs NO dioxins/chlorine to process, useful to replace cotton (a high water use/pesticide use plant), and so, so, so much more. But science be damned. “The Emperor Wears No Clothes” by Jack Herrer. The story of how this plant was “banned” by a conspiracy of government officials and the pharmaceutical, oil, paper, and cotton cartels.

It’s just another weed that has it’s uses.

Most plants if left ‘nourish’ the soil. If you’re using them for all those other things, you will impoverish the soil. If you grow it as a crop it still is going to use fertilizer.

So … I’ll bet Bill from the Gates of Hell was ecstatic when the Government of Scotland informed folks that it had cut down nearly 16 million trees in recent years — to make way for windmills.

I’d like to see the ROI on the energy expended to cut down, remove and process those 16 million trees PLUS the enormous amounts of energy to install those windmills … vs. the energy actually generated by those windmills before they reach their EOL and have to be scrapped into the landfill.

Consider just the concrete needed for each of those windmills: 650-850 cubic yards in a hold that’s 65′ deep at a minimum (and, of course, ‘they’ keep telling the rest of us that concrete is a no-no) … plus all of the reinforcing steel that has to be created and then buried in that concrete to make sure it’s structurally sound … plus all of the metals (including ‘conflict’ metals) that go into making the towers and the mechanism … plus the toxic chemicals used in making the blades (which, by-the-by, have a balsam wood core — and we’ve already apparently stripped some South American countries bare of their balsa) …
