Legendary financial and geopolitical cycle analyst Martin Armstrong has new data on how well the Biden economy is doing. Spoiler alert: It’s not doing well, and the financial system is about to tank. I asked Armstrong if the US government could default on its debt if countries around the world continue to stop buying it? Armstrong explained, “I think the US could default on its debt as early as 2025, but probably in 2027. We have kicked the can down the road as far as we can go.
It’s not just in the United States. Europe is in the same boat. So is Japan. This is why they need war. They think by going into war, that’s the excuse to default on the debt. They simply will not pay China. If they try to sell their debt–good luck. We are not redeeming it. The same thing is happening in Europe. So, once that happens, you go into war, and that is their excuse on this whole debt thing to collapse, which wipes out pensions etc. Then they can blame Putin. This is the same thing Biden was doing before saying this was Putin’s inflation.
Then, with the whole CBDC thing (central bank digital currency) . . . . the IMF has already completed its digital coin, and they want that to replace the dollar as the reserve currency for the world. . . . These people are desperately just trying to hang on to power. Nobody wants to give it up, and nobody wants to reform.”
I asked Armstrong what should the common person be doing now? Armstrong surprisingly said, “I think you need, safely, two years’ worth of food supply. . . .This is what I have. It’s not just prices will go up, but mainly because there will be shortages. Then, you do not know what they are going to do with the currency. . . . They will do whatever they have to do to survive. That’s what governments always do.”
Armstrong says his most recent data suggests that government approval ratings in the USA are worse that Biden’s 8% approval rating. Congress, according to Armstrong, is dragging the bottom with a 7% approval rating. Armstrong has long said that people will buy gold and silver when faith in government crashes. That is exactly what Armstrong is seeing around the world today.
Gold is bouncing around the $2,300 level, and Armstrong sees “a new gold and silver rally coming soon.” War is also coming sooner than later with the announcement that Ukraine will be joining NATO as early as July. When the next war starts, Armstrong warns, “You are going to have to watch the bank because long term interest rates are going to go up. Nobody wants to buy government debt, and you are going to have to hunker down at that stage in the game.”
Armstrong is also predicting a big turn on or about May 7th of next week. Armstrong predicts a recession will start then and go on until 2028. GDP will continue to fall, and inflation will continue to rise. Armstrong says it is the perfect storm for a dreaded “stagflation economy.”

There is a lot more to prepping including skills/clothing/tools/med supplies ect. along with a lot more,but,just starting out one at least accepts things could go wrong and working towards being ready if it(it will)does,also,preps can be for say a job loss ect.,not just the end of the world.

I started prepping canned goods in 2012 and did the rotational thing but I’m not a big fan of canned goods so some went to a guy with pigs. Those pigs were in hog heaven I bet.
I agree but that canned food will be some of your best meals at times,also consider a food bank before expiring/obviously friends ect.
You can get going gardening/perhaps chickens land permitting and building tribe with others to work with so fresh foods are on the menu in the future.

Well, dern! I bought some freeze dried that was supposedly used by astronauts. About 12 years old ( supposed to be good for 20). I opened a can of chicken and rice for testing, the big can! If you don’t like salty tasting food drink more water then jog around a bit so as to sweat. Sweating one’s ass off may not be an issue anyway when SHTF! No bugs in the can, it will keep one from feeling hungry. Two month supply of salty dog and some other freeze dried is all however.
Very few people have an extra bedroom for storing food and other items. Houses along the gulf of Mexico do not have basements or houses a ways inland. Few want a cluttered up house with two years worth of food. The y2k frenzy has come and gone and some will not take that road again circa 1999.

My little granny kept canned goods in an old cellar… for hard times. She lived through the great depression and dust bowl. This 110 y/o house that I paid cash for has a basement and a cellar. It was part of the criteria. We will not be “without”. I prefer to use energies defending what we have rather than looking for food and things to steal. Ethics.

I like Armstrong, but he is wrong about the US defaulting on the debt. That is simply not what is going to happen. What will happen is what happened the last time the Federal Government and the Federal Reserve went bankrupt, the recapitalized themselves by stealing the wealth of the Citizens..
Government is a one trick pony. It does not come up with new schemes, it simply rehashes the same behavior it has used in the past. Especially if it worked. Government is in many ways like a religious cult, that has undying faith in things they perceived as having worked in the past.
You see the US debt is secured. It is secured by the wealth of the US Citizens. At this point in time, the debt is actually less than the total of US Private Wealth.
At some point in the not too distant future, the Government will pull all support from the economy and allow it to collapse. This will cause a massive economic depression, which in turn will cause loan default on a mass scale. Delinquent loans will be foreclosed and the assets associated with those loans will be confiscated. These assets will become the property of the Federal Reserve and its member Banks. They will be sold off over a number of years, and the money from the sales will be used to recapitalize the Federal Reserve and US Government. This is exactly what they did in 1933, only at that time they only stole the Peoples gold. This time they will steal everything you have purchased on credit, and cannot make the payments on after you lose your job.
Recapitalize itself? So what? The Government will still be spending more then it takes in. Especially when there is a lack of confidence in the future (A depression)
