Free Vodka and Beer for the Homeless in San Francisco

Guest Post by Martin Armstrong

SuicideCalifornia is a socialistic cesspool of failed policies that funnel money through inefficient charities. I recently reported that the state, which boasts the largest homeless population in the United States, failed an audit that found nine agencies misused $24 billion in government funds intended to combat homelessness. Now, new reports state that San Francisco alone has been spending $5 per year on alcohol for the homeless.

The “managed alcohol program” states that it aims to keep homeless people physically dependent on alcohol out of jail or the hospital systems by providing them with “controlled doses” of beer and vodka. The program apparently has only served 65 clients, but the public sector has found a way to spend an astounding $5 million annually on a bar tab for the homeless.

The audit I originally referenced found that all of California’s efforts to combat homelessness have miserably failed. In fact, homelessness has shot up by 56.7% since 2015, when a number of these programs were first implemented. It’s almost as if these non-profits could not survive if they were to actually focus on recovery and rehabilitation efforts instead of fueling addictions.

These people are not receiving medical care, and yes, alcohol withdrawal can be fatal but these individuals are simply receiving free drugs funded by the state in order to boost California’s homelessness problem. It would be akin to giving free lines of credit to people with gambling addictions – utter nonsense.

So, while families struggle to afford food and healthcare, Pelosi’s city of San Francisco is prioritizing the money pit that is the public sector. America’s public sector is multiplying under Biden-Harris and there are countless useless agencies spending our tax dollars on worsening our communities for profit.

Those 65 people should all be dead or soon dead of Cirrhosis of the liver or other alcohol related disease. California Eliminating Homelessness one drunk person at a time!

Silly me facing the fact I was an alcoholic and quitting booze when I could have just moved to California and drunk myself to death on the taxpayer’s dime.

You wouldn’t have liked it. How do I know? You quit when you thought you should. It’s what they call a ‘heavy tell’.

65 clients / $5mil. / 365 days = $210.75 per day. We all know that $20 buys a 1.75 liter jug of cheap vodka, so where did the other $190 go ?

Somebody or probably a few somebodies have a nice, huge house, fancy cars, and a nice stash off-shore somewhere.
This whole thing is a giant scam just like the war on drugs and the war on poverty.
None of the people running these grifts want them to end because then the money would be gone.

I refer to this as the ‘Homeless Industrial Complex’. The homeless ‘crisis’ NGOs are all living off handouts from government… and are donating VERY GENEROUSLY to correct government officialdom(s), and government is directly involved in the Homeless Industrial Complex, adding to the numbers of those ‘requiring service’ as fast as is humanly possible.

One hundred percent grift and scam. Zero benefit to anyone except those running the skims, scams, grifts and grafts.

Genuine, complete bullshit, a foully stinking face ride on the tax payer by the rottenest opportunists in our degenerate opportunistic culture.

How do you get rid of the homeless?

Simple. Go out and put up a sign that says will work for cash on a busy intersection where the homeless hang out.

Eventually they will be absorbed into the underground economy. Problem solved. Can take up to 6 months never more than a year. Works every time.
