I know that potatoes can be grown in a cardboard box. Green beans and tomatoes can be grown in a flower pot. It takes just as much time to plant food as it does flowers.
I’ve never gotten an appreciable amount of calories out of any container, up to 30 gallon-sized. Try it before you count on it.

Pots are fine for starting or propagating some things, and for some herbs and spices. It is at least a little touch of life where there might be none.
But it won’t keep you alive. You’d be better just dumping dirt on your driveway and planting into that. Unless you live higher than the ground floor, there are better things you can do. Even then, there are probably community gardens or allotments or foraging to be done.
Sometimes gimmicks work. Usually they don’t. Go out and try that shit. I told you it didn’t work for me. I’m not saying go eat goyslop.
If only all the bootlickers that want to eat healthy would join up and stop paying government taxes or obeying government regulations. But wait, they are bootlickers. Never mind.
I’m not sure how to keep my home if I don’t pay my real estate taxes. I have seen locks put on doors of homes that do not pay their property taxes. Then the county auctioned off the home.
You don’t own your house, you have equity only. You are a renter with equity only. You aren’t allowed to own property because you are someone else’s property.

Just came from the supermarket. A festival of rubbish. RBST in all milk/cheese products, GMO lettuce, cereal and tomatoes. Frozen foods with a chemistry class full of ingredients and raw chicken with antibiotics/vaccines and growth hormones. It’s almost impossible to eat healthy and the few things that are healthy cost a fortune.
I’m noticing fewer farmers markets and co-ops. Real food and quality anything has become almost like finding a unicorn.
The supermarket is a mine field. Avoiding GMO’s, Avoiding corn syrup, Avoiding salt and trans fat, red dye, insect bits, gluten, trans fat and sugar. There’s basically ten things you can buy that are not a problem.
