Dramatic Recovery in Global Sea Ice Confounds the Net Zero Catastrophists
It’s a mystery. Why has Arctic sea ice cover roared back so quickly over the last few years? Nobody knows – not one scientist on the planet can tell you, writes Willis Eschenbach in a short essay on the climate site Watts Up With That? It might be noted, of course, that there was no shortage of explanations when there was a cyclical downturn, mostly to do with humans having something to do with it. Ice melting at the Poles is still one of the crucial supports for the entire command-and-control Net Zero political agenda.
The above graph shows changes in Arctic sea ice cover during the satellite era. Values are anomalies from the 1991-2020 average. Eschenbach notes that since around 1990, people have been talking about how human-emitted carbon dioxide is reducing the amount of Arctic sea ice. When it started dropping very fast, there was talk we’d passed a ‘tipping’ point from which the ice would never recover. Over this time, noted Eschenbach, predictions of an ice-free Arctic ocean abounded.

Biden’s Gender-Fluid Nuclear Official Charged With Felony Theft After Lying To Cops
A senior Department of Energy official was charged with felony theft after stealing a piece of luggage from the Minneapolis airport in September – shortly before taking a leave of absence.
Sam Brinton, a gender-fluid nuclear expert who in 2015 defended underage gay prostitution website “Rentboy.com,” allegedly took a Vera Bradley suitcase worth $2,325 from the luggage carousel at the Minneapolis St. Paul Airport (MSP) on September 16, Fox News reports, citing a criminal complaint filed Oct. 16 in Minnesota state court.

KLAUS SCHWAB WORRIED ABOUT CHINA? In last week’s editorial on Sunday 20th November, BOOM suggested to China that it was important for its economic future to “abandon all connections to the World Economic Forum“. This appears to have generated a response from Klaus Schwab, Chairman of the WEF.
Just 5 days later, in an interview, Klaus Schwab described China as a role model for other nations. Schwab said he respected China’s “tremendous” achievements at modernizing its economy over the last 40 years. However, he was reported as qualifying those statements by saying that he thinks each country should make its own decisions about what system it wants to adapt. “I think we should be very careful in imposing systems. But the Chinese model is certainly a very attractive model for quite a number of countries,” Schwab said.

KIX Drummer Jimmy Chalfant Suffers Apparent Heart Attack While Performing With The Band At Recent Concert

KIX drummer Jimmy “Chocolate” Chalfant was carried off stage after suffering a suspected heart attack during the band’s concert Friday night. The incident took place at KIX‘s concert at the Tally Ho Theater in Leesburg, Virginia, with one source telling Metal Sludge: “He (Jimmy Chalfant) was carried off and we’re waiting on a final word from paramedics.” The source also added: “It happened right after his drum solo, and the band was about to start ‘Cold Blood‘. It was crazy. The ambulance was there within two minutes.” Some of those who were in attendance shared videos to social media, with one person writing: “Please keep Jimmy from KIX in your thoughts. He just collapsed at the KIX show encore at the Talley Ho. No pulse and lots of CPR etc. Amazing show tonight. I hope it wasn’t his last.” This would not be the first time Chalfant has had cardiac issues. Back in September 2021, the drummer suffered a heart attack at his home and was rushed to the hospital where he underwent immediate lifesaving surgery.

1 in 5 Young Adults Dies From Excessive Alcohol Consumption
Story at-a-glance
- Deaths attributed to excessive alcohol consumption in the U.S. are trending upward. Between 2015 and 2019, 1 in 5 deaths (20.3%) in the 20- to 49-year age group was related to excessive alcohol intake. The percentage of men dying from excess alcohol consumption (15%) was higher than that of women (9.4%), but both are on the rise
- Common types of alcohol-related deaths include alcohol poisoning, motor vehicle accidents, suicides, falls and alcohol-related liver disease or pancreas failure
- Other data from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention suggest the rate of deaths directly attributed to alcohol rose by more than 25% in 2020, the first year of the pandemic, when many were self-isolating and working from home. The trend continued into 2021, by then up 34% from prepandemic levels
- Researchers have established a clear link between isolation, loneliness and alcohol abuse and addiction so, clearly, health officials did not have public health in mind when they declared liquor stores to be an “essential business” during the pandemic, while churches, gyms and even parks and beaches were shut down
- Two alcoholic drinks per day or less for men and one drink or less for women is considered “moderate” consumption. Binge drinking is defined as having five or more alcoholic drinks on a single occasion for men, or four or more for women. A “drink” is defined as 12 ounces of beer, 5 ounces of wine or 1.5 ounces of hard liquor

He assumes a vast improvement in batteries. Better batteries are crucial because both power plants and cars need to store lots of electric power.But here’s inconvenient fact 3: Batteries are lousy at storing large amounts of energy.”Batteries leak, and they don’t hold a lot,” says physicist Mark Mills.
But future batteries will be better, I point out.
“Engineers are really good at making things better,” Mills responds, “but they can’t make them better than the laws of physics permit.”
