Gold hits new all-time high, $2,186 at the moment

It isn’t enough to say that the gold price today crossed $2,180. You have to understand the kind of week gold had that paved the way to this new record. Gold has now notched about a week of successive gains, breaking one record after another.

“Charging Anxiety”

Guest Post by Eric Peters

Isn’t it insufferable?

The way reasonable aversion to the things being pushed on us – such as mRNA drugs – is framed as being “hesitant”? Implying  a kind of doltish, obdurate, low-IQ reluctance to accept something beneficial.

How Close Should Your Wealth Be?

Guest Post by Jeff Thomas

Recently, an eminent gold advisor, whom I know and have a high regard for, stated that holders of precious metals would be well served by keeping their metals in a remote location, saying, “Distance equals security.” (He lives in the US and recommends storage in New Zealand, as it’s as far away from him as possible.)

Another prominent metals advisor, whom I also know well and respect, contacted me after the release of this statement to say that he doesn’t necessarily agree with the idea, even though he himself stores gold in a country outside his own.

So, what’s the real answer? Is the investor better off keeping his metals as close to home as possible or as far away as possible?

Well, the answer should not be defined by distance at all. It should be defined by accessibility and safety.

The Grinch Who Stole Freedom

Authored by Jeffrey A. Tucker via The Epoch Times (emphasis ours),

Before President Joe Biden’s State of the Union address, the pundit class was predicting that he would deliver a message of unity and calm, if only to attract undecided voters to his side.

He did the opposite. The speech revealed a loud, cranky, angry, bitter side of the man that people don’t usually see. It seemed like the real Joe Biden I remember from the old days, full of venom, sarcasm, disdain, threats, and extreme partisanship.

The base might have loved it except that he made reference to an “illegal” alien, which is apparently a trigger word for the left. He failed their purity test.

The speech was stunning in its bile and bitterness. It’s beyond belief that he began with a pitch for more funds for the Ukraine war, which has killed 10,000 civilians and some 200,000 troops on both sides. It’s a bloody mess that could have been resolved early on but for U.S. tax funding of the conflict.

Biden’s ‘Nighttime in America’ State of the Union

Guest Post by Ron Paul

Last week President Biden delivered a dark and angry speech meant to convince the low percentage of Americans who still feel positive about his presidency that everything is fine and will only get better if he is re-elected for a second term.

Unfortunately we have come a long way from the optimism of a Ronald Reagan, who won a second term partially on the popularity of his “Morning in America” campaign commercials. Reagan was far from a perfect president, but it was that sense of optimism in otherwise difficult times that resulted in a record re-election victory. Biden’s speech, by contrast, was dark and angry, attacking not only his political opponents but even seeming to threaten the Supreme Court!

Black Missouri Teen Arrested After Footage Shows Her Brutally Beating White Girl Into A Seizure

Authored by Steve Watson via Modernity.news,

Police in St Louis, Missouri have arrested a teenage girl after footage emerged of a confrontation showing a savage beating of a student from Hazelwood East High School.

The disturbing video shows the girl repeatedly smashing the other student’s head into the concrete while repeatedly calling her a “bitch,” and then leaving her having a seizure on the ground.

A group of students then began an all out brawl before police were called to the scene close to the school this past Friday.

COVID Propaganda: Trump Brags AGAIN About Operation Warp Speed, Shills Vaxxes

Via Armageddon Prose

The latest updates on the “new normal” – chronicling the lies, distortions, and abuses by the ruling class.

One might assume that getting brutally mocked and booed at one’s own rally, among one’s most strident supporters — whom he famously said would support him even if he shot someone on Fifth Avenue — might cause one to pause and reflect.

Apparently not so.

FDNY Chief Vows To ‘Hunt Down’ Own Employees Who Booed AG Letitia James

Via ZeroHedge

A New York Fire Department (FDNY)’s top official has vowed to “hunt down” pro-Trump staffers who were caught on video booing New York Attorney General Letitia James during a Thursday ceremony.

“BITS is investigating this, so they will figure out who the members are,” FDNY Chief of Department John Hodges warned employees via email, referring to the department’s Bureau of Investigation.

“I recommend they come forward. I have been told by the commissioner it will be better for them if they come forward and we don’t have to hunt them down,” the email continues, according to the Daily Caller.

Twilight of the Blobs

Guest Post by Jim Kunstler

“Respect the blob, learn from the blob, love the blob.”Robert Kagan, Arch Blob Monster, Brookings, 2020

HG Wells concocted a marvelous trick ending to his classic tale The War of the Worlds (1897). Remember: the colossal Martian tripod “fighting machines” swarm all over the planet zapping cities with “heat rays”. . . it looks like all-is-lost . . . but finally the darn things just quit marching, stop zapping, and stand down . . . the alien protoplasms at the controls (surprise ending) turn up dead and rotting inside from the action of our tiny invisible allies: the earth’s one-celled, disease-causing bacteria, to which the Martian blob creatures have no immunity!

Old Man Shouting, “The American Empire is Doing Great!” But It Isn’t

Guest Post by Patrick Lawrence

Joe Biden’s State of the Union Address (screenshot)

Democratic elites and the reporters who clerk for them were effusively approving of Joe Biden’s State of the Union speech last Thursday evening—not so much for what he said, which came nothing new, as for the demeanor of our enfeebled president. Never mind that Biden reduced an occasion intended to address all Americans as to the condition of their nation to a cheap stump speech. He avoided falling down for his hour at the podium while stringing coherent sentences (mostly) together in the cause of his political survival. That is what counted.

“This was not Old Man Joe,” Peter Baker fairly ejaculated in Friday morning’s New York Times. “This was Forceful Joe. This was Angry Joe. This was Loud Joe. This was Game–On Joe.”

Wow. I seemed to have missed that, Joe.

THEY’LL DO AND SAY ANYTHING FOR WEALTH, POWER, AND CONTROL

Gold & Bitcoin At Record Highs Are “Huge Dollar No-Confidence Vote” – Rubino Warns US Financial Death Spiral Is “Inevitable & Imminent”

Via Greg Hunter’s USAWatchdog.com.

Analyst and financial writer John Rubino warned nearly four months ago of a “U.S. Financial Death Spiral.”

This past week, Bank of America caught up to Rubino and issued a warning about a “US dollar death spiral” because the federal government was going deeper in the red by creating “$1 trillion in new debt every 100 days.”

Maybe this is why gold and Bitcoin have been hitting new all-time highs day after day.  Rubino says, “When a building was worth $200 million and someone sells it for $48 million, that means there is a loss that someone has to take.  Those losses are mostly on the books of regional and local banks.  So, they are in big trouble financially…
