Europe Illegally Confiscating Russian Assets Because they NEED Cash

Guest Post by Martin Armstrong

As we head into a critical turning point of April 19/20, 2024 in this Proxy War the West has organized against Russia from the outset, Ukraine is on the verge of collapsing. Instead of peace, even after more than 500,000 Ukrainians are dead, the West is out for more blood. The Ukrainian people have always been just cannon fodder as they have been played for fools by the Neocons.

Putin Vows Ukraine Will Pay For Election Day Attacks On Civilians

Via ZeroHedge

Today is election day in Russia, and it is quite obvious who will emerge victorious as the country’s next president. However, Ukraine has chosen the eve of election day and into Friday to send a ‘message’ – while apparently losing a lot of men in the process.

There have been repeat significant cross-border ground and shelling attacks from Ukraine in the past 48 hours. Russia’s defense ministry (MoD) announced Friday morning that it “repelled” the latest major attempted incursion in the Belgorod region on the border.

Exploitation of other nations by the so-called “golden billion” is coming to an end, the Russian president has stated

The era of Western elites being able to exploit other nations and other peoples across the world is coming to an end, Russian President Vladimir Putin said in an exclusive interview published by Rossiya 1 and RIA Novosti on Wednesday.

The president stated that over the past few centuries, the so-called “golden billion” has grown accustomed to being able to “fill their bellies with human flesh and their pockets with money” as they have been “parasitizing” other peoples in Africa, Asia, and Latin America.

”But they must understand that the vampire ball is ending,” Putin said.

Putin Warns West Russia ‘Ready’ For Nuclear War, But Says ‘Never Been A Need’

Via ZeroHedge

Just ahead of Russia’s March 15 presidential elections, Vladimir Putin has reiterated Wednesday that his country stands ready to use nuclear weapons should the state’s existence be threatened, but so far “there has never been such a need.”

The new warning of Russia’s nuclear ‘readiness’ accompanied with acknowledgement that nuclear war is not imminent appeared further reaction to the West taking up the question of sending troops to Ukraine, after France’s Macron raised the issue last month. There have also been fresh attack from Ukraine on Russia’s energy infrastructure this week.

“Apart from (US President Joe) Biden, there are enough other experts in the sphere of Russian-American relations and strategic restraint. So I don’t think that everything is going to go head-on here, but we are ready for it,” Putin said in the fresh remarks given to Rossiya-1.

US couldn’t handle being the sole superpower – Putin

The collapse of the USSR left Washington with the full weight of responsibility for world leadership, the president said

The United States was unable to manage the responsibility of being the world’s only superpower after the Cold War ended, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at the World Youth Festival (WYF) on Wednesday.

The WYF runs in Sochi from March 1-7, hosting some 20,000 young people from Russia and abroad for sporting and cultural events, competitions and panel discussions.

Addressing participants at the festival, Putin noted that after the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991, the US elite had an opportunity to take advantage of their new “monopoly on world leadership.”

When Putin Talks the West Better Listen

Guest Post by Larry Johnson

If you’re under 55 years of age you probably never heard of EF Hutton. Hutton, a brokerage, made quite a name for itself with a series of ads that carried the tag-line, “When EF Hutton talks, people listen.” Here is one example:

So pay careful attention to Putin’s warning to the West during his annual “The State of Russia” speech.

Details Of ‘Sabotaged’ Russia-Ukraine Peace Deal In First Months Of War Revealed

Via ZeroHedge

The Wall Street Journal says it has gotten its hands on a secretive document revealing the details of a failed Ukraine-Russia peace deal that was on the table within the opening months of the war. Since then there have been several reports, including from Foreign Affairs which said the UK at the time sought to sabotage the deal.

The draft peace treaty was drawn up by negotiators from both sides in April 2022, and reveals the thinking and objectives of Moscow at the time. The 17-page document has never been made public, with the WSJ for the first time on Friday divulging key sections and points.

West destroying its own financial system – Putin

Via RT

Policies enacted by the US and EU have discredited Western banking and its currencies, according to the Russian president

The West is discrediting its own currencies and banking system, while established monopolies in the global economy are crumbling, Russian President Vladimir Putin said in his annual address to the Federal Assembly on Thursday.

Russia together with so-called ‘friendly’ nations will focus on creating new financial infrastructure that will be free from politics as it seeks to unite efforts in the face of global challenges, he said.

How Realistic Is Putin?

Guest Post by Paul Craig Roberts

As readers know, I am concerned that Putin’s tolerance of a too-long-continuing-Ukraine-conflict is encouraging the conflict to spin-out-of-control.  I have written about this risk neglected by the Kremlin many times.  On February 27 I was interviewed by Finian Cunningham about this risk.  If the interview is posted online, I will link to it hopefully before it is taken down by the narrative controllers.

There is no doubt that I have been proven correct that the provocations, accepted by the Kremlin with only words in opposition, have increased in severity over the past two years.

Yellen Aims to Send Frozen Russian Assets to Ukraine

Guest Post by Martin Armstrong

Russian assets frozen by the West have been sitting idle for three years. US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen is urging the G20 to liquidate nearly $300 billion in stolen assets and send it to Ukraine.

“It is necessary and urgent for our coalition to find a way to unlock the value of these immobilized assets to support Ukraine’s continued resistance and long-term reconstruction,” Yellen claimed. “I believe there is a strong international law, economic, and moral case for moving forward. This would be a decisive response to Russia’s unprecedented threat to global stability.”

France Wants To Fight Russia In Ukraine

Guest Post by Moon of Alabama

The little French rascal is leaning over his skis a bit:

Sending Western troops to Ukraine “cannot be ruled out,” French President Emmanuel Macron said Monday after hosting a conference in Paris where European leaders discussed the prospect. There was “no agreement this evening to officially send troops onto the ground but we cannot exclude anything,” he told reporters.

We will do anything we can to prevent Russia from winning this war,” Macron said. “And I say this with determination, but also with a collective humility that we need to have, in the light of the last two years.”

After two years of following a losing U.S. strategy against Russia one would expect a little more humility than that.

What Russia & Others Think of Biden’s America – the Culture War

Guest Post by Martin Armstrong

Some people just cannot fathom that the fake news spear-headed by Victoria Nuland’s sister-in-law at the Institute for the Study of War never peace; they demonize Putin as they routinely do to anyone they oppose. My father taught me a lesson that you MUST always listen to your opponent because it is a window into his thinking process. I have read Marx not because I believed in what he was saying but to comprehend his thinking process and what led him to the conclusion that he killed more than 200 million people and still counting.

‘Don’t touch the kids,’ Putin tells gays

Adults can live and let live, but children are off limits, the president warned

Russia is actually tolerant of people with non-traditional sexual orientations, so long as they don’t target children or flaunt their preferences, President Vladimir Putin said on Tuesday.

The president made the remarks while addressing visitors to the ‘Strong Ideas for a New Time’ forum, a yearly event organized by Russia’s state-backed Agency of Strategic Initiatives.

“We are quite tolerant towards people with non-traditional sexual orientations. We just don’t flaunt it, and we don’t believe it’s right to flaunt it. Let everyone live – the adults – as they want. Nobody limits them in anything,” Putin stated, explaining that, basically, there are only a handful of rules which limit the LGBTQ community in the country.

Tucker Carlson Is A Convenient Distraction For Our Failed Elite

Guest Post by Kurt Schlichter

Vladimir Putin set up Tucker Carlson by murdering Alexis Navalny just days after Tucker‘s controversial visit to Moscow and interview. That’s what happens when a scorpion rides on your back – it’s going to sting you to death even if it’s riding you across the river and will end up drowning itself, too. But the frenzy over Tucker Carlson‘s visit is still massively overblown, and the intensity of it by the ruling class is less an indication of righteous indignation than an attempt to distract from modern America’s shortcomings. Tucker Carlson is not correct in all his details, but Tucker Carlson is correct that our ruling class has completely abandoned, and oppresses, the people it presumes to lead. He’s right to point that out, and he should keep pointing that out.

Listening To What He Is Saying

Guest Post by Moon of Alabama

Patrick Armstrong, a Canadian expert on Russia, had, unfortunately, stopped blogging on Russia.

But the last post he made was advice that should be followed: “LISTEN TO WHAT HE’S SAYING”.

“He” of course, being Vladimir Putin, (and Lavrov and other Russian officials …)

Following Patrick’s advice I have long used some off time to read through Putin’s interviews and talks. They are all available in good English translations on the President’s website.

Shortly after his interview with Tucker Carlson Putin had another one with the Russian journalist Pavel Zarubin.

Here are two interesting parts of it:
