Tell Me What’s Changed

I want you to read this quote from an article written by James Bennet, once Op-Ed editor for the NYT, who now writes an opinion column for The Economist. Bennet’s an Elite; older brother Michael is a Senator (D-CO), father was a State Department official in a few Democrat administrations, head of NPR and president of Wesleyan, maternal grandfather a Polish Jew who dealt in African art (!); and James Bennet did two stints at the NYT, sandwiched around his editing The Atlantic.

So as you can tell, he’s a spook and controlled op who’s playing his role the Elites have given him — but he still manages to tell a couple truths, though they’re presented in the article like an afterthought:
