Will Western media outlets look past their egos and establishment narratives to take advantage of the insights from the conversation?
American establishment media spent the days in the run-up to Tucker Carlson’s interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin pre-judging it as propaganda, and soliciting the opinions of establishment figures, like former US secretary of state, first lady, and presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton, who dismissed Carlson a “useful idiot.”
All this before they even had the slightest notion of the interview’s content. All they knew was that Putin would have an opportunity to speak, and that ever since Carlson left Fox News and turned independent, there wasn’t any obvious establishment figure to babysit him or control what went out. Worse, it would air on the X platform (formerly Twitter) owned by Elon Musk, who describes himself as a “free speech absolutist.” So it did not bode well for the kind of propagandistic framing that the Western establishment enjoys when it comes to locking down narratives under the guise of fighting a war on fake news.

The two-hour long conversation was live-streamed on twitter. Every major news outlet has had some form of coverage.

After eight years of covering the Ukraine coup/civil War, and more specifically Western propaganda on Russia, I could pretty much tell you everything Putin was going to say before he said it.
Anybody who has covered Russia or Ukraine could tell you that.
He was always going to detail, in cogent and historically literate terms, Russia’s position on Ukraine.
He was always going to cite the (very real) broken promises Western diplomats made about NATO’s Eastward expansion.

Last week, Tucker Carlson traveled to Rusia to interview President Vladimir Putin. This sent the left into hysterics – some of whom have called for the journalist to face sanctions, or worse.
Prior to the interview – which can be seen right now in its entirety at tuckercarlson.com, Carlson explained that it’s his job as a journalist “to inform people,” as “most Americans are not informed” as to what’s happening in Ukraine.
To that end, let’s get into it.
Tucker starts the interview by asking Putin why he invaded Ukraine, “and the answer we got shocked us.”
Putin proceeded to delve into the history of Ukraine, going back to the middle-ages. Tucker pushed back, saying “I’m not sure why it’s relevant to what happened two years ago,” to which Putin continued with the history lesson.

In the seventies, when the cold war was at its peak, Donald Rumsfeld was convinced that the Atlantic Ocean, off the U.S. coast, was teaming with Russian submarines. The U.S. navy couldn’t detect them because, he was convinced, the Soviets had a new ‘acoustic technology’ which made them effectively invisible. Rumsfeld went ahead and ploughed billions of dollars into developing a new technology which could detect the non-acoustic subs. But that failed and is still costing the U.S. taxpayer today. The truth was in fact, the Soviet subs just weren’t there.

The funniest part of this Tucker Putin interview is how outraged the regime media and the neo-con class are about real journalism. They are so stupid, they don’t conceptualize that the more they scream about the interview and declare Tucker a traitor, the higher the viewership on Friday.
American journalist Tucker Carlson has spent several days in Russia, where he attended a ballet performance at the Bolshoi Theatre, Telegram channel Mash reported on Saturday, sharing several photos of the conservative commentator.
Carlson allegedly touched down at Vnukovo airport on a Turkish Airlines flight from Istanbul on Thursday after several hours’ delay, according to the channel. He was later spotted taking in the ballet Spartacus at the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow.
Neo-cons are afraid this will ruin their narrative of Putin being a deranged psychopath who must be stopped, not matter what it costs. If Tucker interviews Putin, the world will see a serious minded, intelligent, well spoken leader of a nuclear power, who had legitimate reasons for invading the Ukraine to protect the Russian speaking people of the Donbas. He will also reveal what the neo-cons and CIA did in 2014 to initiate this conflict.
I can’t wait to hear the screeching of Lindsay Graham, Nikki Haley, Victoria Nuland, Hillary, Slow Joe, Romney, and the slew of other bought off hacks when this interview is announced.
