Ugh, I hate getting tricked into clicking on links to videos when I thought there was an article to read.

The great SSS once asked why Stuck had ended a comment with “TIA”.
Rather than leave in a huff, you ought to wonder what was going through the mind of a man whose every post is intended to piss you off or get you thinking? Do you think he had nothing better to do but post an old video of an artist who was once on top of the world? One who was a ’50s idol, the heyday of the USA? The title alone is chock-full of meaning. Then you have to remember Bill Clinton was known to the secret service as ‘Elvis’. Who would be causing old Bill problems? Listen to the words of the song, ‘we can’t go on together…’

No, your right, Admin was just trying to get a tune out of his head.

One more example of why he was ‘the King’ of vocalists!

My comment was posted late; I was referring to Elvis, NOT Ricky Nelson. If one thinks about it, Elvis initiated most of the mannerisms that rock & pop singers adopted: on-stage physical movements never seen before and endless flashy dressing were only two, as seen in the video.

Thanks, Joseph. Excellent song, great analysis. No one could ever think you meant Z’s piss poor imitation of Buddy Holly.
