ACED IT BITCHEZ!!!

We are a country of maroons. Pew Research conducted a survey of Americans last week regarding basic facts that every American should know about the world. It consisted of 12 questions. I got all 12 correct in the one minute it took me to complete the quiz. The results of the quiz on a national basis are mind boggling and confirms everything we think about the ignorant zombie masses staring at their iGadgets. Being connected doesn’t make you smart or aware of what is happening in the world.

Take the quiz by clicking HERE, before reading my comments.

Get a load of these results:

  • Only 1% of Americans got all 12 question correct. I made it into the 1%. Yippee!!!
  • 58% of Americans got less than 6 answers correct.
  • 33% of Americans got less than 4 answers correct. It’s a multiple choice quiz with only four options. You could guess randomly and get 3 answers correct.
  • Sorry women. Men answered 11 of the 12 questions more accurately than women.
  • It does appear that college makes you smarter, but not necessarily smart.
  • Young people are dumb. Hysterically, the only question they aced was the level of the minimum wage. I guess they know that one because that’s what they are making, based upon their clear lack of intelligence.
  • Only 33% of Americans know the unemployment rate.
  • Only 20% of Americans know that Social Security is the highest spending item in the budget.
  • Only 20% of Americans know the poverty rate.
  • Only 24% of Americans know the name of the chairperson of the Federal Reserve.

The ignorance is breathtaking to behold. But, I bet that more than 75% of ignorant Americans know the name of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s bastard baby. If so few people know who runs the Federal Reserve, imagine how many Americans understand inflation and currency debasement. We are truly doomed. And we deserve everything we are going to get. We are a country of morons, run by morons, for morons. Morons unite.

11/12 for a high school graduate white (they didn’t ask) male aged 51. I did not know the poverty rate.

I missed Iran and thought the interest on the national debt had already surpassed Social Security spending. So 10/12 for me… it’s a good quiz, though. I can see why so many people would miss some of these questions; you have to read alternative news sources to even see coverage some of these topics.

I got 11 out of 12. Thought the interest on the debt was greater than SS.

I’m not a big watcher of Fox – but Bill O’Reilly has this ‘man in the street segment’ with a guy named Watters.

They claim that they don’t edit or cherry pick the responses. In a word, the ignorance is astounding. They held up a picture of Biden – and most people couldn’t recognize him. The younger people are unbelievably stupid. I guess that their education was more focused on gay rights, and twerking.

Sometimes the interviewer will ask a question like “What do think about Obama” – this black guy say “He’s great” – then the interviewer will say “What are the accomplishments that make him great?” – they can’t give an answer – no basis for their opinion.

What I have noticed is that the more conservative people know the answers.

10/12; wrong on expenditure and poverty questions (though I honestly wonder if those questions, based on “official” stats, have any meaning or correct answers OTHER than interest on national debt and 35% in poverty.)

People want to live their lives, not examine them. That doesn’t make them stupid; it makes them CULPABLE.

Woot! Woot! 12/12.

Even Pew freaking research enjoys steering the conversation, they wanted the answer of Syria concerning ISIS/ISIL, and conveniently left out the whole Iraq thing.

Just proves he whom controls the counting controls the country.

And he whom controls the message, moves opinions.

Yes, ‘murkins are not very bright, and our education system does nothing to alter that.

11/12 I missed the poverty rate question. I just assumed that if the FSA comprises 49% of the populace the poverty rate must be at least 25%. If only 15% are below the poverty line, why are the other 34% getting free shit?

11 of 12, missed the poverty question. I see a pattern, besides how do they really measure poverty. Funny, I never watch news on TV and the only news I get on the radio is the traffic and weather channel. I shouldn’t be, but I am often surprised at how ignorant the average and often above average person is, especially when related to the news and current events. Admin, I was too dumb and lazy to get my MBA. maybe that’s why I didn’t get a 100 on the quiz.
Thank you,
Bob.

12/12. Piece of cake quiz.

Here’s a good trivia question for TBPer’s. What state has the most lighthouses? Maine? Nope. North Carolina? Nope. Alaska? Nope. Those were MY answers when someone in our tour group asked the question while my wife and I were touring a lighthouse in Maine. Finally, I got a case of smartass and said Nevada. Got some laughs with that one.

The answer is …….. (scroll down)

(keep going)

Michigan.

11 for 12 with 2 wild ass guesses counted as correct answers. A pretty simple test and just think they let us vote. Of course that makes no difference. Elections are just to make us think we have a say in what the government does.

More Michigan trivia, we have the worlds largest population of muslims outside of the middle east and in that same area we have a huge rock salt mine under most of detroit and northern Michigan with over a hundred miles of roads 1200 feet below the surface, never suffered a collapse, never suffered a death.

I think the mooslums had it shut down for religious reasons so they could build the western worlds largest mosque……..

Perhaps largest concentration as a state within the US, but far from largest outside the Middle East, unless Michigan now has 210 million residents:

@Mabuk and Card

Largest Arab concentration in the country I believe. The home of Henry Ford has become decidedly Hijab wearing. But there are Christian Arabs there too.

So technically not largest Muslim, but largest Arab transplants.

At least that is what I have heard, I’ve never bothered to do any research, just like I’ve never bothered to research how many Christians live in Indonesia.

We are some of the most aware in the country it seems. That doesn’t shock me at all and is a big reason why I’m here.

And penis posts. Yep, that’s it.

Oh yeah, other Michigan trivia:

There is no place in the lower peninsula that is further than five miles from fresh water.

There is also no place that you can get further than that away from a card-carrying unionist/statist/liberal.

So, the best reason to stay alongside the best reason to leave.

Yet I’m still here. *sigh*
