DO WE REALLY WANT TO KEEP POKING THE BEAR?

These aren’t Iraqis or Yemenis. They are Russians.

What keeps me awake at night is the very real possibility the neo-cons in charge are TRYING to get Putin into a nuclear exchange with the U.S. I heard about a paper written by the short chick in the background on the iconic (and faked) Osama bin Laden situation room photo, in which she presents options for quickly reducing the Human population! This should be headline news, but you would never hear about it in the MSM. And I’m sure their neo-con bunkers are stocked as we saw in the piece about the facility near Charlottesville, Va. Just like in Dr. Strangelove, coming soon to a planet near us.

Russia is basically a 3rd world country with a couple of aged nukes. Their cities are crumbling, and their utes are addicted to vodka. They are decades behind us in science and technology. Our sanctions are bringing them to their knees. They’re down to just 100 pounds of potatoes. For fuksakes, they couldn’t even hold on to Estonia! The only way they can win a war is is they commit 20+ million to suicide.

Russians are pussies! We could beat them in a war in two months, three tops. That’s the damn truth.

Those are all photo-shopped. Russia is a paper tiger. Trust me on this. Or, trust the many American Generals who also know this. Of course, that’s why they want to attack Russia NOW … while they are disheveled and gasping for air. Our Generals would not push for war unless they knew we could win. I say, go for it. War creates JOBS. If you went on a two week vacation on some remote island, and the war started the day you left, it would be over by the time you got back.

About the toothless Bear, well said STUCKY. We think alike on this subject.
Although RT, Sputnik, Russian Insider, and Fort Russ have been making the case for Russian fighter planes, tanks, and missile defense being better that ours, I think that boasting is just mighty bold talk and whistling in the dark.
The Russian press even claims that their military could defeat NATO in a few hours. Ha… Only in their dreams!

I think you’re right about our generals pushing for war because they think we can win.
A nuclear first strike would be the way to go. There’s no sense in committing American ground troops. A good time to attack would be during the Russian Victory Day celebration. That’s May 9th. Their guard will be down then.
I’d like to see Israel strike Syria and Iran at the same time.

Those menacing threats to world peace, Russia, Iran, and Syria, should be dealt with the same way God commanded Moses to deal with the Amalikites: “Attack the Amalekites and totally destroy all that belongs to them. Do not spare them; put to death men and women, children and infants…” – 1Samuel 15:3. “Blot out any memory of them.”

I like to hire this Russian hooker every once in a while. I pay her $400 to let me lick Skippy (Extra Creamy!) peanut butter off her tits while she coos in my ear about the surface to surface performance of the Russian 3M-54TE Klub-N – DOD designation SS-N-27B. She whispers to me that it has a VLS launched anti-shipping variant with a thrust vectoring booster.

She moans softly before she points out its basic length is 8.9 m, its warhead weight and other performance is the same as the 3M-54E. It is a sea-skimmer with supersonic terminal speed and a flight altitude of 15 feet (4.6 m) at its final stage, when it has a speed of 2.9 mach.

And then I climax.

An old friend of mine (I have known him for 30+ years) travels around the world for business. In the process he has met many, and a wide variety of, important and rich people, including those in the intelligence field.

I played golf with him recently. He told me that what we see on the TV, which is to say the anti-Russian feeling, the war drums sounding, etc. is pure propaganda, completely without merit, according to this US source he knows, off the record.

The claim was echoed by the conversation he had with a Russian oligarch previously, who basically said the same thing, laughing at USA propaganda as he would at a child’s prank.

Thus, we have the following: our news media says X. Russia’s media says Y. Our own intelligence says Y. What the fuck is going on here?

Archie….Politically, you have to create a problem, with fear-mongering in order to influence the public, and then CONgress gets the go-ahead. Like AGW, ozone hole, Alar, so many more.

Defense Dept wants a bigger budget to beef up the reduced military – every gov’t agency always wants to get bigger. Just think what it does for egos.

The war industry – it is the biggest manufacturing element in our economy (my guess). They salivate over every bomb, mortar round, Tomahawk, etc. fired.

A direct comparison is misleading. Russia does not have 10 expensive carrier groups to support, nor has does it have dozens of large military bases in foreign countries or has spent a trillion and a half (or more) in wars since 2004 (or wasted many billions on the F35). The bulk of it’s spending can go to the modernization of it’s military forces. On the other hand, most of it’s superiority in armor is soviet era weapons that are mostly obsolete, assuming they are even operational anymore.

Not that any of this even matters. The US could not fight a land war in Asia with conventional means, nor could Europe. Unless it quickly went nuclear, the Russians would kick everyone’s ass. I am fairly certain the French and Germans understand this as well. Italy hardly even has a military anymore.

—-Westcoaster

Please identify the “neo-cons in charge.” Is Obama, Hillary, and John Kerry, the three key players in formulating and implementing foreign policy for the past six years, among them? Last I looked, no sane observer and/or pundit of U.S. foreign policy has ever described those three as neo-conservative. Ever. So I guess they’re out.

Or are you referring to “neo-cons” cleverly hidden in the shadows? You know, those people who REALLY call the shots and REALLY run the country without regard to who’s in the White House or Foggy Bottom. Can’t be people like George Soros or Penny Pritzker. Billionaire “neo-cons” posing as lifelong leftists, but too high profile.

Damn, Westcoaster, who are these neo-cons in charge? It’s driving me crazy. They must be a pretty clever group to stay completely hidden all these years from the public, the press, and the entire federal government. You might be reluctant to name names since your life may be in danger if you blow their cover, especially if one of the neo-cons is named Vito. That I understand. But are you willing to stand up for your country and blow the lid off this horrendous scandal before it’s too late, and we see horizon-to-horizon mushroom clouds, as you envision.

Do it for your family, your country, and a good night’s sleep, Westcoaster. Pull the trigger.

“Frederick Kagan, Samantha Power. Do you want more?”
—-Zara’s answer to who are the “neo-cons in charge”

I see the old dumb shit Zara escaped from his kidnappers. That didn’t take long.

Kagan is a resident scholar at the American Enterprise Institute whose claim to fame is advocating, among many others, for a “surge operation” in Iraq to break the stalemate there in 2006. Jesus Christ, Zara, we were already in Iraq for 3 years, and Bush made the final call. It’s that fucking simple. Kagan is a total non-player. Period.

Human rights advocate Samantha Power is another hackneyed far-left liberal who supported Obama early on against Hillary and was finally rewarded with an appointment as U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations. I cannot think of a less influential and meaningless senior position in the entire State Department. You’re nothing but a fucking parrot for the SecState.

Asymmetric warfare is today’s fashion.

Wonder how many Russians employed in the US of A might have allegiances to Russia, and who might have just the sort of knowledge needed to make the US standard of living become “a thing of the past”, and in doing so completely disrupt domestic operations (upon which any overseas engagement will depend).

That’s before the US / NATO experiences just how very effective all that “Soviet-Era” stuff really is, seeing as the Russian Military have been engaged in a considerable modernisation / upgrading programme over the past years.

Maybe Americans would do well to start reading Dmitri Orlov / The Saker. Then you will start to realise just what you are up against.

“The moral is to the physical as three to one.” — Nappy? Klauswicz? I see that Putin’s approval rating is some 80+ percent. Basically, you screw with Russia, you’re screwing with most everybody in the country–and they’ll happily screw you right back.

US? Eurozoners? Er, uh, I really doubt the dedication to entering combat.

But Obama and the neo-Cons (Krystal, Horowitz et al) will fight Russia until the last Ukie is dead. About like Iran’s war against Israel via Hizbollah and Hamas. “Your Ineptocracy at work!”

Anybody that wants another war should get drafted ASAP. Sorry Navy, Aircraft Carriers are so last big war (rockets could vaporize one). Haven’t heard about how we can counter their anti-radar system yet. They built shelters for citizens but we built only for the Elite; we lose. PS: They have billions of BRICS to cover their backs and we have ??? PSPS: I was stationed at SAC Hqs 1980-83 and nobody wanted to start a big war with Russia (even before BRICS) and even Obama can’t be that stupid although he is stupid enough to bumble into one. . .

The carriers don’t stand a chance.
