Boy, old Bernie really turned out to be a turd sandwich when he “lost” to the giant douche. What are some other politicians who have rolled over like the big pussy that is Old Bern historically?
Marshal Petain who went over to the Nazis to govern Vichy France. Chamberlain who thought Hitler could be trusted this time. Gen Powell who swallowed all Dick’s crap. Obama who aids and abets ISIS but has Democrats convinced he is a Christian Patriot. Kissinger and Kerry who would trade whatever the enemy wanted for a deal. Harpy and her gang who has fooled a hundred million Useful Idiots into thinking she has an IQ of 140, loves children, handled Putin but didn’t mishandle Classified, saved Libya and runs a charity.
I thought of this South Park episode a few days ago, but said nothing because as a Canadian I don’t think it’s right to offer an opinion on the “douche versus turd sandwich” election before Americans.
As a Canadian, I did appreciate a few years back when Michael Moore attempted to interject his opinion of the Harper Conservative government into Canada’s election process, and it was promptly met by people on all sides of Canada’s election with a big shout of ‘STFU’ because foreign nationals are prohibited under our laws with interfering Canada’s election process 🙂
More recently however, I was aware that during Canada’s last federal election that saw T2’s party elected with a majority government, that George Soros backed groups were actively participating in anti-oilsands protests and other shit-disturbing type activities…so it seems that ‘all animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others.’
I hope America is able to find its way free of the ties that currently bind it. Without the shining light on the hill that is America, what hope do quasi-socialist countries, and tending towards communism countries have to escape the ties that bind?

Well, if you reword and narrow the question down to US politicians who DIDN’T roll over, the list is short. In my lifetime, Ron Paul.
And SSS hits a grand slam homer!

But like IS said above I agree that SSS hit the home run. I suppose in defense of Ron Paul he is older and likely wants to slow down a bit. But it was an opportunity missed for an outsider to upend status quo. Sanders has made same mistake. Right now somebody somewhere is sitting in a beer hall planning the putsch. Third time will be the charm!
Bernie was a lame duck from the get go. He refused to use his ridiculous financial influx to target Clinton on ANYTHING, completely ignoring the fact that he wasn’t a lock for the nomination.
For the longest time that moron would open any question about Hillary Clinton in the following way:
“Now, I like, and respect Hillary Clinton. She has done a lot of great things for this nation…” and then he would segue with a “but” and talk about his own platform.
However, damage done. He never went for the throat, never called into question her obviously corrupt foundation, her awful track record as SecState, or the trail of bodies that has followed her and her husband for years.
Sanders is a socialist idealist, who truly believes that his cause is just. I hate true believers, they scare the shit out of me. They are all just one rally away from strapping on bombs or jackboots, either way they want to enforce their will over me and mine.
Sanders was almost completely ineffective as a politician, but his words have inspired a sizable population of the country to take action at a local level, and with help from dear old Bernster’s funding they are starting to win local level seats.
The Nazis of the Third Reich, and the Americans in the Revolutionary War both made up a relatively small portion of the population at the outset of TSHTF.
PS: I’m with SSS on Ron Paul, he’s the only one I haven’t seen capitulate for the sake of a few votes.
The wikileaked emails reveal that Bernie gave Hillary the endorsement in exchange for the use of a private jet. I’m not surprised he sold out (after all, the trail of bodies of the people who crossed the Clintons is long, deep and bloody) but I am surprised that his price of selling out was so low. He could have gone for a cushy 7-figure think tank consulting gig, multi million $ book deal, etc. Well, those things are probably still in the cards…
