I saw BTO in concert at a private club in Charlotte NC. 1985 was the year and they put on a great show.

I know what the graph says, from seeing it elsewhere.

BUT, it’s always nice when graphs have labels.

Emerging markets are reeling now that the fed has tapered, European banks have over $3 Trillion in loans in shaky emerging markets. Gold is now $10,000 Argentine peso per ounce. The rest of the world is in pre-crisis.

Every top we have is followed by a larger drop.

Keep your powder dry.

Yeah, Big Ben, … me too … I really don’t know what that graph means. It’s pretty, though, and I am a dumbass … got an “F” in my high school Reading Graphs class.

Yeah, that’s what I thought … wasn’t 100% positive … really.

@Stucky,

hahaha!

My more immediate concern is the annoying amazon ads across the screen while I’m trying to digest my Daily Dose of Doom.

Mary, I had MANY problems with this site a few months ago. Could barely log-on and post.

I deleted IE and installed Firefox. Took 10 minutes.

Since then I’ve had zero problems. I installed their AdBlocker plug-in (takes 30 seconds) and I have never seen a pop-up ad here or anywhere else. Best thing since sliced bread.

Just sayin’ … not everyone wants to switch from their favorite browser.

Stucky,

This just started up a couple of days ago on my iPad. Not sure if it’s the same on my laptop.

Thanks for the advice. I have to remedy this, it’s the most obnoxious thing I’ve encountered in quite some time.

Stuckey, add Ghostery as a Firefox add-on (it blocks lots of crap from getting/sending out cookies, etc).

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/ghostery/

Also if you want to see how websites interact with your browsing, add Lightbeam also. You’d be amazed at how many tentacles branch out from your computer’s internet connection.

1. A quick available supply of
elastic currency for business men;

2. Issued and controlled by the
Government;

3. Against adequate security, con-
sisting of gold, commodity or com-
mercial bills or acceptances, and U. S.
bonds.

4. Under an interest charge high
enough to prevent inflation by com-
pelling contraction.

In 1890 I had established the First
National Bank of Muskogee, Okla-
homa, was its president for ten years,
and in 1893 witnessed the panic that
took place at that time. This bank,
like very many other banks, lost fifty
per cent of its deposits within as
many days because of the panic.

Yellen will create more ‘elastic currency’

Kill Bill,

That’s it. Mine’s a mini too. A gift from hubby, pre-Christmas.

And I’m choking on all the ads.

Would I seem ungrateful if I took a hammer to it?

Admin can you put ads down both sides of the page, would that help? SHTF does that and it works fine for the reader.

Guess who worked from home today and loved it? Robmu1

Damn he went soft, oh well. His post that last storm reminded me of days from my youth. My Buddy’s and me could not wait for a major snow storms so we could get out in it with our four wheel drive trucks and blast through snow drifts. Many times the fence line was the only indication a road was under you. We always went with a least two vehicles and plenty of adult beverages. Our trucks were set up for such adventures and we never did get in a major bind. Oh the indiscretion of youth. How did I survive?
