I WILL ROOT YOU OUT

I decided to get into the election spirit for the 2014 for our legislative branch election. Every Wednesday I will post an article entitled “Legislative Scumbag of the Week”. I will disclose their net wealth, their connections, how they voted, how long they have been in office, and if they are up for re-election in 2014. If they are up for re-election I will disclose who is running against them, their platform, and financial contributors. If you want to participate, look up your Congress and Senate Representatives for your district and post their name in the comment section.

Whenever I am looking at a crook to put in office, the first thing I look at is their voting record on gun legislation. If they don’t pass that test they are put on the “See You Later” list.

Love the pictures of the Ron Paul supporters. Unfortunately for this country, the millennials in the Obama pictures won, pushing fascist Obama into office twice. They may be the last generation where whites predominate, they vote liberal progressive, they hate religion, and the fully support big government, most even believing the government isn’t doing enough and isn’t big enough.

And so ends the USA.

“we already know a few big things about the Millennials.

They are the most ethnically and racially diverse cohort of youth in the nation’s history. Among those ages 13 to 29: 18.5% are Hispanic; 14.2% are black; 4.3% are Asian; 3.2% are mixed race or other; and 59.8%, a record low, are white.

They are starting out as the most politically progressive age group in modern history. In the 2008 election, Millennials voted for Barack Obama over Mitt Romney by 66%-32%, while adults ages 30 and over split their votes 50%-49%. .

They are the least religiously observant youths since survey research began charting religious behavior.

They are more inclined toward trust in institutions than were either of their two predecessor generations — Gen Xers (who are now ages 30 to 45) and Baby Boomers (now ages 46 to 64) when they were coming of age.”

What’s it say about an entire generation that voted the worst, most incompetent, most corrupt, most fascist and totalitarian president in our history into office twice?

Young Voters Carried Obama To Victory

As more numbers and analysis of the youth vote are rolling in, we’re seeing just how big a role the Millennial generation played. In fact, one study confirms that had young voters not turned out as strongly for President Obama, it would have resulted in a Romney victory.

Nationally, young voters supported President Obama over Gov. Mitt Romney by more than a two-to-one margin, with 67 percent for Obama (up one percent from 2008) and 30 percent for Romney. These most recent numbers from the Center for Research and Information on Civic Learning and Engagement (CIRCLE) at Tufts University show that youth turnout was especially strong and likely matched or exceeded 2008 levels. At least 22-23 million young people (aged 18-29) voted in this election, and at least 49 percent of young people overall turned out.

“Turnout is just around 50 percent, which is exactly where it was in 2008—which is much higher than it was in the ’90s and 2000’s,” CIRCLE Director Peter Levine said during a press call Wednesday. “For example, in 1996 only 37 percent of young people voted so this is a different situation. This is the new normal where about half of the Millennial generation is voting in an election year and they are very numerous.”

In fact, with final numbers still coming in from some precincts, this figure could even reach 51 percent, equaling the record level of turnout by young voters in 2008. This is especially notable because nearly 17 million more young people were eligible to vote this year than four years ago, so the total number of young people who voted could actually be higher than in 2008.

This marks a major generational shift from the 1990s when youth turnout was consistently below 40 percent.

“Yesterday, young Americans showed up, voted and made it clear that they are the generation that will take our country forward,” said Heather Smith, president of Rock the Vote. “They increased their share of the electorate. The share is really important. It means, of the electorate, more of them are young. The young people are having a much bigger impact in deciding outcomes both in elections today and the country for the long term.”

Do you lump your own Millennial children into this same bucket?

Are they worthless losers who deserve scorn and ridicule before they’ve begun their adult lives?

Or are your cherubs different?

@AWD – Same shit, different thread.

Its cute that you still think Mitt would have done anything differently.

Mitt’s purpose on the Republican ticket was not to get elected. His purpose was to make sure Ron Paul didn’t stand a chance. He didn’t want to win, and basically threw the election when it came down to it.

Had Mitt been voted in we would have Romneycare and it would be the exact same piece of legislation we have today. It was not written by our politicians, it was written by our owners. Big difference.

Not a damned thing would change, with the slight exception of public perception. The fault is falling pretty squarely on the democratic party, unfortunately because I’d much rather people hate both parties equally.

Glad to see you still need to blame those least responsible.

Damn I think she is onto something!

I will admit I voted for Bush twice, but if I had the knowledge I have today I would have never gave him my vote.

When Obama came on the scene I gave him a fair look and it took maybe 15 seconds for me to decide he was bad news. Democrat from Chicago, discussion over.

I did not even vote in 2012, both the major parties had nominees I would not give the time of day.

When I was young I knew very little about any candidates running and I really did not care that much as I was having a good time and still growing up, so I did not even vote. Never been a herd type person.

But seriously kids, what did you see in that guy? He seemed fake and arrogant to me.

The TBTF banks and Multi-national corporations are going to get their way – sometimes it’s with “right cover” and sometimes it’s with “left cover” – but either way we the people will get screwed.

And those still asleep and stuck in the paradigm – unable or unwilling to look up at the true rulers – can be spotted by how much they bitch about one side or the other.

It doesn’t matter what their records are. I will never vote for a Republican or a Democrat again. I don’t care if his last name is Paul. Rand is making a valiant attempt to work within the GOP, but the good old boys will be certain that his influence is limited.

The Dems and GOP are the people responsible for the destruction of this country. We need to totally clean house and stop trying to “work with” these people. I don’t think the Mils get this yet, but an old fart like me does.

My kids would never, in a million years, vote for Obama. They hate Obama. For crissakes, I’m just making a point.

You always say “know your enemy”, well, anyone that supports our socialist government and dictator president is the enemy. Anyone that supports liberal progressive democrats or neocon republicans is the enemy. This is not the country I grew up in, sorry, and it’s only going to get worse with 1/3 of the voting population supporting the fascists.

Once I stayed in a very nice place that turned out to be afflicted with bedbugs. We had to leave so the exterminator could come. You know how you exterminate bedbugs? You close all the windows and heat the place to 130 degrees for 12 hours. Call the bedbug exterminators to Capital. Hill.

The “enemy” are the TBTF Banks and the Multi-national corporations – the corrupt politicians are just bought-and-paid-for lackeys – this is the lesson the minnies need to learn and embrace.

Bitching about Obama is not educating them about who/what is really in charge – it’s all a mirage, a game, an illusion of democracy and this needs to be exposed for the fraud that it is.

@AWD – “You always say “know your enemy”, well, anyone that supports our socialist government and dictator president is the enemy. Anyone that supports liberal progressive democrats or neocon republicans is the enemy.”

You rant against Millenials pretty freely, but never bother to tackle the complete ineptitude of the GenXers as a generation, the way boomers have sold everyone out (hippie to gecko in 10 years time) or the way silents have enforced the idea that strong public unions, SS and other benefits are required parts of our economy.

Or how the previous generations allowed FDR to thieve gold directly from banks, how the Fed got started, or how Lincoln self-interpreted the constitution so that secessionist states were violating national law.

Every fucking generation from day 1 of this country’s birth have been kicking the can down the road with regard to bad decisions. Rare statesman made a positive effect, but by and large our nation has been eroding our rights for over 200 years now.

You want someone to blame? Blame everyone, because thats who it took to get us here.

That sumbitch has the BEST record. Just imagine if every one of those bastards had that record. No Patriot Act., No Obummercare. No Child Left Behind Act. No Authorization to Use Force Against Iraq. No Homeland Security ACt.

For fuck sake, I pray every night for politicians to just do NOTHING. Please God, do not let them help me anymore, as I surely cannot survive any more help. God at least heard my call and sent my request to this one great Congressman.

The USA has committed economic suicide. A majority of voters decided social issues were more important than wealth. Stupid fucks deserve what there going to get which is less wealth.

What’s with all the “no”s and freely thrown shit at Stephanie Shepard? I think she’s great.
She raises interesting issues, is controversial, and gets a lot of comments which, if they aren’t ad hominem attacks, are usually pithy retorts. Keep the pot stirring Stephanie, you make TBP more readable.

And as for exposing scumbags… Sure the facts can be found elsewhere but let’s let Stephanie find them for us and add her scornful remarks. Besides, the more light that can be thrown on crooks and incompetents, the more likely the system will be improved.
