My mom.call a little while ago and told me my brother has just died .They don’t know what happened ,he was alive one moment and gone the next.Just fell to the ground.Stucky,it’s times like this I just don’t know what to do except turn to the Lord .Today would be a good time to tell the ones you love how much you care about them.You might never get another chance.This is the lesson I have learned today.

Never heard of the movie or the book it was based on… which is surprising, given my fixation on South Africa.
It is interesting to note that the Brits only cultivated a friendship with the US at the end of the 19th Century when they realized how the balance of power would fall, and they knew they needed backup… as of the 2nd Boer War, anti-British sentiment was still out there, as evidenced by the several hundred Americans who volunteered to fight the Brits in South Africa with no pay – only food and equipment.
