While the media focus incessantly on protesters in Murrieta attempting to block buses full of illegal immigrants from entering their city, four-year-olds are crossing America’s southern border. Those four-year-olds, however, don’t make for pictures quite as striking as the sight of dozens of flag-waving Americans begging the American government to enforce the border, nor narratives quite as convenient as “racist right-wingers try to stop government from helping children.” And so the media leave it to outlets like Breitbart to report on the influx of unaccompanied minors.
This is how the left controls narrative. They create massive humanitarian crises using the government as their tool, then suggest that those who want the government to do its job in protecting the rights of the American people are the true lawbreakers. They fostered the crisis of single motherhood by incentivizing bad decisions with taxpayer dollars, then told conservatives that if they didn’t support more government spending on behalf of those children, they were cruel. They fostered the crisis of healthcare with excessive regulation, then said that if conservatives didn’t want Obamacare, they wanted Americans to go without health insurance.
Now, they foster illegal immigration, then suggest that if conservatives do not cave on border security, they seek to victimize children.
This is the worst form of bullying. The government violates the rights of its citizens – the right to be free of crime, the right to not see its taxpayer dollars exploited, the right to expect a consistency in the application of law – and then, with the help of the media, portrays those who protest those violations as villains.
Meanwhile, the victims pile up: immigrants who come, hoping to be part of a system of unlimited opportunity and instead shuttled into a life of dependency and fear; citizens, promised the rule of law. But victims don’t matter to the left. They’re just more opportunities, more crises to exploit.
President who created border crisis not eager to resolve border crisis

Remember how President Obama’s early efforts to spin away the border disaster his policies created included frequent promises to begin shipping the “refugees” back to their countries of origin as quickly as possible? Never mind. That talking point is no longer operative, probably because it was put-up-or-shut-up time, and there’s no way Obama would short-circuit his deliberately created open-borders machine when it’s so close to achieving its objectives. Also, at this point the immigration wave is a done deal – a vast network of taxpayer-funded planes and buses is distributing the new “undocumented Americans” across the country, making deportation effectively impossible – so there’s no further need for pretenses of effective action.
And so, as Fox News and the Associated Press report, Obama suddenly wants to “hold off seeking legal changes to speed up the deportation process for illegal immigrant children, when he submits his request to Congress on Tuesday seeking billions in emergency funding to deal with the crisis on the U.S.-Mexico border.”
The administration insists it still plans to seek expanded authority to expedite deportations. But The Associated Press reported overnight that the request is moving on a separate track, amid objections from immigration advocates to the deportation proposal.
The blurry state of affairs reflects the political pressure the administration is facing from both sides of the debate.
From its left flank, advocacy groups oppose proposals to speed thousands of unaccompanied minors back home to El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala. But Republicans in Congress, and some Democrats, want the administration to get tough, and send a message that these illegal immigrants cannot get a free pass to stay in the U.S.
The AP reported that, according to unnamed Capitol Hill aides, the administration decided to submit the spending request apart from the policy changes.
What a surprise. They want billions to spend, but they’ll deal with all that yucky border security and deportation stuff later – you know, their actual duties to the taxpaying citizens of the United States.
But an administration official told Fox News they still intend to seek expanded authority to expedite removals.
“We already sent a letter to the Congressional Leadership last week on our desire for expanded authorities and we are still seeking those authorities and have made clear we will work with Congress to get those authorities,” the official said.
The developments underscore the delicate position the administration finds itself in as it risks alienating allies by pursuing changes to turn the immigrant kids around more quickly. More than 50,000 have arrived since October, in many cases fleeing violence at home, but also drawn by rumors that they can stay in the U.S.
Actually, the total number of people who have surged across the border during that time period is much larger – more like 300,000 delivered to American cities by the federal government just since April – but 50,000 of them are unaccompanied minors. None of these people will ever be deported, and they know it. That’s why they’re here. Wait until prospective “migrants” hear that Obama has abandoned even the pretense of holding expedited deportation hearings.
If you think the Obama Administration feels some sense of duty toward protecting the border and American citizenship, this is sheer lunacy – he’s doing exactly the opposite of what everyone knows is the only way to slow the flood of illegals. The accurate belief that they’ll receive “permiso” – permission to remain in the United States indefinitely, with the American Ruling Class dead set on creating a “pathway to citizenship” for them as quickly as possible – is what has drawn them here. Just last week, Obama’s hot talking point was that all of those folks were deluded to believe this, the victims of “misinformation” spread by their lousy governments and ambitious smuggling gangs. But now everyone in the southern hemisphere can pick up the paper and read how Obama wants to fast-track money to accommodate their needs, while putting “expedited deportation” on a slow track that leads right off a cliff.
Nothing except swift and effective deportations will make a lick of difference in this crisis. I wouldn’t even put too many chips on enhanced physical border security, which we’re not getting anyway – Obama’s idea of enhancing security is sending 150 more Border Patrol agents, but the inbound illegal aliens are voluntarily presenting themselves to Border Patrol agents, who immediately become their travel agents.
(Or their “relatives” swing by the shelter to pick them up. According to leaked documents from the Department of Homeland Security that we weren’t supposed to see, federal officials have noticed the same people returning to detention centers over and over again, to pick up fresh shipments of young “relatives.” Fewer than half of the children coming across the border end up in the custody of their actual parents. None of that fills you with confidence that the Administration will be able to stop hard-core bad guys who rent a couple of kids from coyote smugglers and stroll across the border, does it?)
Even if some sort of impenetrable wall were swiftly constructed, the result would be even worse refugee camps on the other side of it, a crisis the Left would swiftly declare to be America’s problem. And nobody, Left or Right, should be eager to create conditions that would produce such a humanitarian disaster. We’re talking about the lives of tens of thousands of people, of children. Refusing to swiftly correct the situation that lures them here is a crime against humanity.
The developments all come as Obama has declared comprehensive immigration legislation dead in Congress and announced plans to proceed on his own by executive action to make whatever fixes he can to the nation’s dysfunctional immigration system. That could put Obama in the seemingly contradictory position of shielding millions of people from deportation while at the same time trying to hurry deportations for the unaccompanied children.
That’s not “contradictory.” It’s the Cloward-Piven strategy of manufactured crisis. In such an attack on the system, it is essential to preserve the illusion that the system is trying, and failing, to cope with the crisis. That sets the stage for pronouncements that the system is fundamentally “dysfunctional” and must be scrapped, replaced by something more to the taste of activists. There’s no doubt which sort of activist has more sway in this debate… a debate in which one side is told, in increasingly shrill tones, that it cannot even use phrases like “illegal alien” to clearly describe what is happening.
The genuinely “dysfunctional” aspects of our immigration system are the last thing Obama and his fellow travelers have any intention of addressing. Legal immigrants who honorably follow the rules will continue to enjoy the same level of neglect this government shows current U.S. citizens who follow the rules and do everything right. Talk of “comprehensive immigration reform” is trickery designed to push amnesty deals. The only thing urgently in need of “comprehensive reform” is the part of the system that lets 300,000 aliens assume permanent residency in the United States in a matter of months, with the active assistance of taxpayer-financed government resources.
“Leadership” would have involved the President forthrightly alerting Americans to the problem as soon as government agencies detected it, and if he really did feel curiously bound by whatever laws he claims are obstructing deportation proceedings, he could have called for immediate action months ago… or taken it himself, with those executive orders he loves so much. It didn’t take 300,000 people crashing into the system to determine that the Obama Administration thinks the Bush Administration effectively offered to absorb the entire Central American population.
Instead, Obama spent months hiding the problem, followed by weeks of bamboozling us with talk about how all of these people would be deported any moment now, and they’re crazy to be lobbing their kids a thousand miles into Barack Obama’s deportation trampoline. And now we get fresh new spin about how his hands have been tied all along. They certainly weren’t tied when he wrote those Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals executive orders handing out amnesty, were they? And nobody in the Administration seems to lose any sleep over ignoring the decade-old legal requirement to build a larger and more effective border fence.
Of course, the Left being the Left, the only thing that has troubled liberals about any of this is Obama’s refusal to nip over to the border during his Texas fundraising swing, and get himself photographed at the refugee camps. Of course he’s not going to do that, and there’s no need to float any rumors about how he’s worried he’ll catch some illness from the people in the camps. The illness he’s worried about is the kind that spreads through viral images, with captions like “LOOK UPON MY WORKS, YE MIGHTY, AND DESPAIR.”
Because the Left is all about symbolism and imagery, they’re experiencing a childlike wave of confusion about the Lightworker’s refusal to visit the border and fix everything with a wave of his hand, creating the new meme that this is “Obama’s Katrina moment.” In this case, unlike the actual Katrina Moment, the President caused the disaster – he’s not just refusing to take control away from an incompetent Democrat mayor and governor in Louisiana during a natural disaster, or dropping “heckuva job” sound bites in favor of lackluster agency officials.
Thus, we have reporter Susan Page of USA Today appearing on an MSNBC roundtable show to describe Obama’s refusal to survey his border handiwork as “a Katrina moment,” although she evidently thinks the problem is that he hasn’t been able to work even more of his “comprehensive immigration reform” magic. After six long years, we also see the first glimmerings of a sustained media narrative about Obama’s ineptitude. From a transcript at the Washington Free Beacon:
“This is unacceptable to more than Republicans on immigration, the situation we have there,” Page said. “And boy, is that going to anger some of his core constituents who have wanted him to do more on immigration, not less.”
Carolyn Ryan of the New York Times argued that the “national funk that we’re in” is “partly due to a sense that things aren’t working,” and suggested the border crisis adds to questions about the Obama adminsitraiton’s competence.
“You can see that 30-second tv ad,” Chuck Todd remarked. “You start with the health care rollout. You go to the VA. You go to Syria. You go to Iraq. And you can go to the border. And you can draw a straight line.”
Rep Henry Cuellar (D-TX) said exactly the same thing in a Fox News interview: “I’m sure that President Bush thought the same thing, that he could just look at everything from up in the sky, and then he owned it after a long time, so I hope this doesn’t become the Katrina moment for President Obama, saying that he doesn’t need to come to the border. He should come down.”
Obama’s not “incompetent” on the border – he’s getting what he wanted, just a bit bigger and faster than he anticipated. I wonder if some of this “Katrina moment” rhetoric, in addition to betraying a childlike devotion to photo ops and the symbolic majesty of the imperial presidency, isn’t an effort to lower the bar and set the stage for celebration when Obama actually does do something. After stubbornly refusing to accept Texas Governor Rick Perry’s invitation to visit the border together, and taking a feeble stab at blowing him off with an airport handshake, Obama finally offered to meet with Perry in Dallas… which, I can’t help noticing, is rather a long haul from the Rio Grande. To confused Obama-worshipers who don’t understand why he resisted meeting with Perry for so long, it’s because even that is going to draw increased attention to the border crisis, and the President does not want that.
Oh, and His Majesty has finally consented to allow his courtiers in the media to visit a detention center full of children, but only if they drop all that fussy “First Amendment” stuff and promise “not to record anything, not to ask any questions during the tour, and not to talk to any of the staff members or children,” according to National Review. The top priorities for this White House are controlling political damage, and finding ways to turn the manufactured crisis to their advantage. Doing anything effect to slow or halt the flow of people coming across the border is written into the margins of their to-do list, sideways, in pencil. Some “leadership,” huh?
Update: In case you think it was a bit hyperbolic to refer to Border Patrol agents as de facto travel agents for incoming illegals, the Associated Press reports on “government buses that spend each night idling on a Texas roadside, awaiting the latest arrivals,” backed up by “a fleet of Border Patrol vans.”
Human-smuggling operations really appreciate this outstanding concierge service: “Migrants’ willingness to surrender to authorities has created a system in which smugglers need only to get their human cargo to the American side of the river, rather than guiding them to a populated area.” This makes the smugglers’ task ridiculously easy, as “it takes only a few seconds for a watercraft to dart across the river and deposit three or four people on to U.S. soil,” where they instantly merge with crows of people in busy recreational areas.
But sure, this will all stop because Obama cuts a PSA telling the people of Central America to stop sending their kids across the border, and maybe puts up a few billboards in Guatemala.

President Obama’s new border spending request will pay for schooling, health care and lawyers for the unaccompanied illegal immigrant children surging across the border, officials told Congress on Thursday as they pleaded for quick action on the $3.7 billion package.
Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson said Congress must approve the money this month, saying that if nothing is done before lawmakers leave for a monthlong August vacation, one of his agencies will have to cut its other immigration enforcement in order to hold and transport the children.
But Mr. Johnson and other officials faced bipartisan complaints that Mr. Obama’s plan is “incomplete.” Democrats said it fails to compensate local communities who are having to face the problem, while Republicans said Mr. Obama needs to spell out details of how he wants to change the law to make sure the children can be quickly deported.
“He needs to work with us to get the right policy into effect — not just throw money at the problem,” Sen. Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, the top Republican in the Senate, said on the chamber floor.
The Obama administration has been struggling for months to gain a handle on the surge of children and families crossing the border, and the president this week finally submitted an emergency spending request to Congress.
It would provide more money to social workers to house the children, add immigration judges to try to speed up cases so that those who are going to be deported can be sent home sooner and boost funding for immigration agents who are handling the surge at the border as well as detaining, processing and transporting the children.
Some of the $1.8 billion intended for the Health and Human Services Department will provide for education and extraordinary health care for children in desperate need, and both the HHS money and funding for the Justice Department will go to pay for legal representation for the children, officials told the Senate Appropriations Committee.

Trump: Illegal Immigrants Are Getting Treated Better than Vets

The thousands of unaccompanied immigrant children are being treated better than American veterans and a Marine stuck in Mexico, Donald Trump said on Laura Ingraham’s radio show.
“You know, the only one we can’t get back into the country is our Marine,” Trump said on Thursday, referring to U.S. Marine reservist Andrew Tahmooressi, who mistakenly crossed in to Mexico with firearms and is being held there by the Mexican government. “I mean, everyone else is flowing in from Mexico and the Marine is stuck in prison.”
Additionally, needy veterans continue to suffer from through the widespread mismanagement at the Department of Veterans Affairs, he said, “but I guarantee we’ll take care of these [immigrants] if they come.”
Trump warned of the consequences of allowing recently arrived illegal-immigrant children to stay in the country while top-notch students from other countries are denied entrance to the U.S. or must go through the legal process.
“This influx is killing the country,” he said. “It’s killing the country.”
Black Americans: The True Casualties of Amnesty

One of the sleeper issues surrounding the debate on amnesty for illegal immigrants – an inconvenient one that no proponent of a widespread amnesty wishes to acknowledge – is the devastating effect so-called immigration reform will have on African Americans.
The black unemployment rate is almost 11 percent, far higher than that of any other group profiled by labor statistics. African Americans are disproportionately employed in lower-skilled jobs – the very same jobs immigrants take. As Steven Camarota asked in a recent column, why double immigration when so many people already aren’t working?
Who will be harmed most by amnesty? African-Americans.
The issue resurfaced this week when a YouTube video emerged of two young African-Americans confronting pro-illegal-immigration demonstrators in Murrieta, California. Murrieta is one of the towns in which undocumented minors are being relocated — and supporters are squaring off with protestors.
The young man argues:
If somebody brought six children to your house and you ain’t got no job, are you gonna take them in?… What are you gonna do? Are you gonna try to go out there and take care of these children AND the children you got already that you can’t take care of?… What are we going to do for the people who are here who are starving already?… We got our OWN people that are starving and hungry…. Why would we add to the problem?!
He also laments the problems in black neighborhoods where prices “are upped on everything” after large groups of immigrants move in.
The young woman argues:
It’s just too much…. We already have our own poor people. Starvation, kids walking with no shoes…. We don’t need other people’s kids to bring more problems…. You’re gonna watch America go spiraling down… We’re already in debt as it is. [Now] we’re gonna need more money to support these kids.
Why are Democratic politicians disregarding the concerns and needs of black Americans in a push to address the concerns and needs… of foreigners? Amnesty proponents speak of the need to grant others a better life – but what of the need to look out for our fellow Americans? What of those black Americans whose ancestors quite literally built this nation through the sweat of their brows?
Instead, Democrats are chucking aside black voters in their rush to lock in the Latino vote (or so they’re hoping). Taken for granted as a given come election-time, blacks are now actively harmed as the Democrats vow to grow their voting base through importing more and more of what they see as future blue-voters. It’s the husband who leaves his wife of 30 years: ‘We had a good run, honey, but I’ve found someone new.’
Black attorney and member of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights Peter Kirsanow, serves as one of the lone voices of reason, repeatedly outlining the harm amnesty will cause black Americans. In a 2013 letter to the Congressional Black Caucus, he wrote: “The obvious question is whether there are sufficient jobs in the low-skilled labor market for both African-Americans and illegal immigrants. The answer is no.” Kirsanow’s statistics demonstrate the way in which immigration impacts the wages and employment opportunities of black males and hurts the black community.
But no one seems to listen to Kirsanow.
Meanwhile, the harm to African Americans is not limited to reduced wages, greater competition for jobs, and declining household incomes – now even the black history of suffering is being diluted. Liberal columnist and CNN pundit Sally Kohn penned a column last week arguing that the term ‘illegal immigrant’ is the same as the N-word. Kohn, is usually fair-minded and reasoned in her arguments, lumping black Americans’ unique history and suffering with that of certain Latino immigrants is absurd and offensive. Consider that the N-word was used to describe a person who was whipped daily, while ‘illegal immigrant’ is a word used to describe a person who receives free education (even in-state tuition!), housing, driver’s licenses, legal aid, food, and healthcare. To even claim the two words are similar is an unthinkable affront – and insult – to African-Americans.
Senator Jeff Sessions’s recent National Review column “On Immigration, It’s Time to Defend Americans,” hits the nail on the head. Sessions notes:
Harvard professor George Borjas estimated that high immigration rates from 1980 to 2000 resulted in a 7.4 percent wage reduction for lower-skilled American workers…. The Center for Immigration Studies issued a study based on Census data showing that “since 2000 all of the net gain in the number of working-age (16 to 65) people holding a job has gone to immigrants.”… If mass immigration is so good for the economy, why then — during this long sustained period of record immigration into the U.S. — are incomes falling and a record number of Americans not working?
Birthright citizenship is already bad enough; largely refusing to deport illegal immigrants is already bad enough.But now, we’ve upped the ante even further. Overburdened taxpayers, including black taxpayers, are covering the cost to feed, clothe and educate illegals, and black Americans face the additional burden of having their historic suffering belittled and their precarious circumstances made even worse.
Democrats have built a brand as the party willing to stand up for black Americans, but the amnesty push shows what a false promise that was. The message to black voters is: “Yes, your ancestors endured unimaginable hardships and helped build this country, and we said we’d help you out. But now we have a new trophy wife.”
Ladies and Gentlemen, I have the solution to the problem!

(NaturalNews) A U.S. Border Patrol agent has gone public with some incredible charges against the Obama administration, accusing it of “aiding, abetting and facilitating the smuggling of illegal aliens across the border.”
The agent, Hector Garcia, told CNN in a recent interview that the current chaos of mass illegal immigration taking place along the southwest U.S. border is being “organized” and “orchestrated” by Mexico-based drug cartels. Not only that, but he said the administration is giving the illegal crossers a “free pass” to remain in the country, noting that federal officials are using the equivalent of the honor system in asking the aliens to report later to an immigration hearing, knowing that the majority of them will never do so.
An ‘organized, orchestrated’ effort
He said “what we are seeing” taking place is “plain and simple, a rampant abuse of our immigration system.”
“We have a situation right now where the federal government is pretty much aiding, abetting and facilitating the arrival of these individuals,” Garza continued. The aliens “pretty much surrender themselves because they know they are getting a free pass” into the U.S.
Garza said that so many Border Patrol agents and the agency’s resources are being diverted to process the illegal arrivals that the crisis is allowing drug cartels uninhibited, undetected access into the U.S. with shipments of illegal drugs and weapons.
As to the crush of humanity arriving on our borders, Garza said it was an “organized, orchestrated” effort by the cartels.
He went on to say that, while some are describing what is happening as a “humanitarian crisis,” which it is, more than that it is a “border security crisis.”
“We have to make sure that our agents are able to do their jobs,” he said. “At this point, about 70 percent of our Border Patrol agents in this area [Laredo, Texas] are being reassigned for processing duties.” That leaves just 30 percent of available agents “to actually do field work, to actually patrol our border.”
The result is “a very porous border where dangerous criminals and dangerous drugs are entering our country.”
Garza also said that, because of the expansive and generous American welfare state, a shrinking number of taxpayers are going to be footing the bill to provide for the illegal immigrant families.
“How do you expect a mother from Honduras that is crossing the country with three to five children, and they’re all young-aged children, how do you expect for that mother who comes to this country to actually begin working?” he said.
He continued: “This illegal alien who comes to this country with three to five kids is going to depend on our welfare system, on government assistance. And you know what? That is costing the taxpayer a lot of money.”
Immigration rules, impact, expectations have changed throughout U.S. history
Other experts have said that the argument being employed by the president — that America has always been “a nation of immigrants” — is both untrue and disingenuous. Immigration laws have varied throughout the history of the country, they note, adding that most Americans today come from many generations of earlier Americans, even if their great-great-ancestors initially immigrated here.
Also, they point to the fact that, early last century, when the U.S. experienced a wave of European immigration, the country did not have a massive welfare state in place. Immigrants then were expected to assimilate and fend for themselves, and, as noted in 2012 by Cybelle Fox of the University of California-Berkeley, most assistance came in the form of limited, regional programs and private charities.

On Monday, Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto and Guatemalan president Otto Perez Molina held a joint press conference in Playas de Catazaja, Mexico, to officially announce an agreement to make it easier for those making the illegal journey to the United States from Central America, to cross into Mexico.
The Southern Border Program to Improve Passage, will provide for more border checkpoints along Mexico’s border with Guatemala, and offer more protection and even emergency medical care to those making their way north. The illegal aliens will receive a so-called Regional Visitor’s Card, according to El Universal.
Officially, the program will grant the cards to only illegal aliens from Guatemala and Belize, allowing them to remain in Mexico’s southern states for 72 hours (more than enough time to reach the U.S./Mexican border by train). While, those two countries share a border with Mexico, the program will undoubtedly benefit anyone who makes it to the border, which would explain why our Border Patrol stations are currently overflowing with illegal aliens from El Salvador and Honduras as well.
The program will also give special protection and even financial assistance to unaccompanied minors now pouring across our border. Of course, these efforts, chiefly by the Mexican government, will only increase the number of illegal aliens coming to this country by the thousands, now on a daily basis.
The official announcement only confirms what many of us have known all along…the current chaos on the border which the Obama administration has sympathetically (and dishonestly) characterized as a “humanitarian crisis,” only exists due to collusion between the governments of Mexico, Guatemala and likely the United States.
You see, unlike the United States, Mexico actually defends their southern border…
In September 2010, the head administrator of the Mexican Superintendency of Tax Administration, Raul Diaz, told the Inter-Press Sevice (IPS) that his government was building a wall in the state of Chiapas, along the Mexican/Guatemalan border. The official reason given was to stop contraband from coming into Mexico, but as Diaz readily admitted: “It could also prevent the free passage of illegal immigrants.”
Furthermore, Article 33 of the Mexican Constitution states:
The President of the Republic shall have the power to expel from national territory any foreigner, according to the law and after a hearing. The law shall establish the administrative procedure for this purpose, as well as the place where the foreigner should be detained and the time for that. Foreigners may not in any way participate in the political affairs of the country.
Of course, in the U.S. illegal aliens are not only free to stay without fear of deportation, but they now protest openly, regularly invading Congressional field offices to demand amnesty legislation, as well as actually physically blocking the entrances and exits of the Washington D.C. headquarters of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement headquarters in 2013.
Obviously, the American people are under daily assault from foreign invaders, bringing with them crime and disease, but the bigger threat is from government corruption, both foreign and domestic…governments that manufacture crises which threaten to “fundamentally transform” ours into a Third World nation in less than a generation.

Congratulations America: after severing ties with Russia, crushing cordial relations with China (leading to this stunning announcement by China’s president), alienating France (which is now openly calling for an end to the petrodollar), the Obama administration – following not one, not two, but three spying scandals in just the past year – has managed to sour relations with Germany to a point where one wonders just who is a remaining US ally in Europe these days. According to Bloomberg, the German chancellor’s office has issued instructions to national intelligence services to limit cooperation with U.S. following alleged U.S. spying case, Bild reports without saying where it got information.
TSA Allowing Illegals to Fly Without Verifiable ID, Says Border Patrol Union
MCALLEN, Texas—Illegal aliens are being allowed to fly on commercial airliners without valid identification, according to the National Border Patrol Council (NBPC). “The aliens who are getting released on their own recognizance are being allowed to board and travel commercial airliners by simply showing their Notice to Appear forms,” NBPC’s Local 2455 Spokesman, Hector Garza, told Breitbart Texas.
“This is not the CBP [Customs and Border Protection] or another federal agency renting or leasing an aircraft, these are the same planes that the American public uses for domestic travel,” said Garza. “This just adds insult to injury. Not only are we releasing unknown illegal aliens onto American streets, but we are allowing them to travel commercially using paperwork that could easily be reproduced or manipulated on any home computer. The Notice to Appear form has no photo, anyone can make one and manipulate one. They do not have any security features, no watermark, nothing. They are simply printed on standard copy paper based on the information the illegal alien says is the truth.”
Spokesman Garza continued, “We do not know who these people are, we often have to solely rely on who they say they are, where they say they came from, and the history they say they have. We know nothing about most of them, ICE releases them into the American public, and now they are boarding aircraft at will with a simple paper document that anyone can easily alter or reproduce themselves.”
The shocking assertions by Garza were further validated by the national body of the NBPC. Breitbart Texas obtained an exclusive statement from the NBPC.
“The National Border Patrol Council adamantly opposes the decision of DHS to release the illegal aliens who have been transported from the Rio Grande Valley Border Patrol Sector to other locations for processing. The lack of consequences has furthered this crisis and will only continue to do so. The fact that TSA is accepting the I-862 (Notice to Appear) as a form of identification and allowing illegal aliens to travel commercially shows just how little regard the federal government has for its own immigration laws.”
Breitbart Texas also spoke with Shawn Moran, the vice president of the NBPC and he stated, “Why waste money and effort transporting people from the RGV if we are only going to release them with no real way to track them? Why are we allowing them to travel commercially using paperwork that could easily be reproduced or manipulated on any home computer.”
Spokesman Garza highlighted the significance of the NBPC’s assertions regarding security threats posed to the American public and stated, “The threat this poses from terrorists upon the American people is absolutely unacceptable. Central Americans are not the only people crossing our border and being released. Does anyone actually think that cartels and others criminal or possible terrorist organizations are not taking advantage of the fact that we are having to leave our border wide open while we reassigning the majority of our agents to process family units and minors? Of course this situation is being exploited by such threats.”
The concerns raised by the NBPC about possible security risks, especially in regards to the safety of commercial airliners, are reinforced by a 2012 United Nations (UN) report previously covered by this reporter. The UN Office on Drugs and Crime’s “Transnational Organized Crime in Central America and the Caribbean” revealed that individuals from the terror-prone Somalia were traveling to Central America in efforts to illegally enter the United States. The report states:
“Central Americans are not the only ones being smuggled through Mexico to the United States. Irregular migrants from the Horn of Africa (Eritrea, Somalia, and Ethiopia), as well as South Asia (Bangladesh, Nepal, India), China, and other African and Asian states are being smuggled through Central America.”
In light of the UN report, possible public safety risks posed by illegal aliens who claim to be from Central America flying unidentified and without effective documentation are further illuminated by a previous in-depth analysis of Somalia by the nonpartisan Council on Foreign Relations. They wrote on Somalia:
“Its porous borders mean that individuals can enter without visas, and once inside the country, enjoy an almost complete lack of law enforcement. Somalia has long served as a passageway from Africa to the Middle East based on its coastal location on the Horn of Africa, just a boat ride away from Yemen. These aspects make Somalia a desirable haven for transnational terrorists, something Al-Qaeda has tried to capitalize on before, and is trying again now.”
Breitbart Texas reached out to the TSA (Transportation Security Administration) for comment without receiving a response at the time of this article’s publication.

A few years ago, I was on a private tour of Congress. Our host was a Texas Congressman with a tremendous knowledge about American history and the building that houses the House and Senate. While standing before statues of Washington and Jefferson, I wondered how they would feel about current day America and the direction of the country. I think we all know the answer to that question. Revolutions have begun over far less than the tyranny we face today as Americans.
Lovers of liberty in America today celebrate Independence Day as when American colonists risked their lives, fortunes, and sacred honor to declare that tyranny must not stand and that the rights of the individual must be protected from government. In the late 1700′s, the tyranny had a British face and accent. In 2014, the tyranny is homegrown and flourishing on American soil from domestic enemies.
We no longer have a government for the people. We have a government for the government that frightens and persecutes the people. Government and those who hold office have become the ruling class that hold and use tremendous power over American citizens. Three letters…IRS…are enough to bring fear and trembling to any American! Unelected bureaucrats in that sick institution can literally destroy one’s life. As we have seen with Obama and Democrats (possibly Republicans), the IRS has been used as an attack dog to silence opposing voices. This, my friends, is tyranny. This is what our Founding Fathers risked their lives to defeat! Why do we suffer it?
Americans are losing freedoms at a horrifying rate. From warrantless government spying to having every aspect of our lives regulated, we are watching Big Brother completely take over. Our elected officials enrich themselves while in office for life while ignoring laws they have sworn to uphold that they themselves have passed!

Today, AWD listened to some beautiful choral renditions of the Star Spangled Banner while driving my bad ass, gas guzzling F150. The music actually brought tears to my eyes. I am an American. I’m an American patriot. But my heart breaks as this once-great country disintegrates before my eyes. Even though I love America, I cannot stand idly by in silence and support the corruption and disgrace brought upon us by tyrants in Washington.
Last night, Big Fur, the filly and I went to Kaboom Town in Addison, Texas for the fireworks show. It’s one of the top five largest fireworks shows in the country and is always held on July 3rd. The show was spectacular and very moving. But for the first time in going to Kaboom Town for nine years, I found myself thinking about the suicidal direction of the USA. At the end of the fireworks show, I yelled out “God Bless Texas!”
Indeed. God Bless Texas and our love of liberty! I pray that America can soon put itself on the path to freedom and cast off the shackles of tyranny that have been placed upon us by an ever-increasing tyrannical federal government.

Border Patrol Agent: US Gov’t ‘Completing the Smuggling Cycle’
Border Patrol agent Hector Garza stated in an interview on the Thursday broadcast of Fox News Channel’s “Hannity” that the U.S. government is “completing the smuggling cycle” of unaccompanied minors into the United States, and asked “why would anyone want to hire a smuggler when the US government is actually doing it for free?” He stated that “we apprehend [unaccompanied minors] we process these illegals and then release them to their family members in the US we just completed that smuggling cycle.” He also stated the US is giving illegal immigrants from countries other than Mexico a “free pass.”
Garza added that the surge of unaccompanied minors and the violence directed at Border Patrol agents by cartels has placed a strain on the Border Patrol, and as a result “resources are running dry and morale is at a very low level,” but that despite this “agents come to work every day with their head up high.”

Exclusive: Border Patrol Warns MS-13 Using Nogales Processing Center as Recruitment Hub

According to Border Patrol sources, violent MS-13 gang members are using the Nogales processing center in Arizona as a recruitment hub and as a transfer point for gang members to get into the United States.
The Red Cross has set up phone banks inside the processing center so unaccompanied minors can make phone calls to family members inside the United States and back home in Central America. According to sources, those phones are also being used by MS-13 members to communicate with gang members already in the United States and operating in cities like Atlanta, New York and Chicago. Further, many teenaged males inside the facility have approached Border Patrol agents and have said gang members have tried to recruit them from shared cells. According to the FBI, MS-13 regularly targets middle and high school students for recruitment.
“The National Border Patrol Council believes there to be serious security issues at the Nogales Processing Center. Agents’ hands are tied due to the policies governing the care and lodging of juveniles and this has allowed gang recruitment and activity to flourish amongst those being detained,” vice president of the National Border Patrol Council Shawn Moran tells Townhall. “Customs and Border Protection needs to do more to ensure that gang members that are in custody at the NPC are identified, prosecuted, and prohibited from benefiting from this crisis.”
Earlier this week an internal Border Patrol summary confirmed at least 16 MS-13 gang members from El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala are being housed in the processing center after graffiti was found on bathroom walls. These same gang members admitted to acts of torture and murder in their home countries before heading north to the United States.
“Border Patrol Agents (BPAs) and Customs and Border Protection Officers (CBPOs), assigned to The Nogales Placement Center (NPC), discovered that 16 unaccompanied alien children (13 El Salvadoran males, two Guatelmalan males and one Honduran male) currently being held at the NPC are members of Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13). The MS-13 gang members admitted to their gang associations following a discovery of graffiti at the NPC. Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO), and the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) were notified,” the summary states. “Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO), and the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) were notified.”
MS-13 members are required to be processed by Border Patrol and then are handed over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement, where they are often times placed inside the U.S. and given a court date. They rarely show up. By U.S. legal standards many gang members operating in Central American countries and traveling north are classified as minors due to being under the age of 18. However, many young males are actively engaged in violent cartel and criminal activity, yet are treated as children when processed through the Department of Health and Human Services or Department of Homeland Security systems.

Trump: Illegal Immigrants Are Getting Treated Better than Vets

The thousands of unaccompanied immigrant children are being treated better than American veterans and a Marine stuck in Mexico, Donald Trump said on Laura Ingraham’s radio show.
“You know, the only one we can’t get back into the country is our Marine,” Trump said on Thursday, referring to U.S. Marine reservist Andrew Tahmooressi, who mistakenly crossed in to Mexico with firearms and is being held there by the Mexican government. “I mean, everyone else is flowing in from Mexico and the Marine is stuck in prison.”
Additionally, needy veterans continue to suffer from through the widespread mismanagement at the Department of Veterans Affairs, he said, “but I guarantee we’ll take care of these [immigrants] if they come.”
Trump warned of the consequences of allowing recently arrived illegal-immigrant children to stay in the country while top-notch students from other countries are denied entrance to the U.S. or must go through the legal process.
“This influx is killing the country,” he said. “It’s killing the country.”
