When all this happened the guy was already handcuffed on the ground and even after being handcuffed they still beat him, tazed him and let the k9 bite him in the face twice. They literally beat the guy unconscious and then threatened my 7 month pregnant girlfriend.
No telling if this dude is even still alive after seeing his condition when he was taken away on the stretcher.
Another witness, Darlene Thompson, who works across the street says:
He was in cuffs on the ground after that 1 cop kneed him in the face 8 times! This is prior to half the force joining in on the beat down. I work across the street and saw the whole thing. Good job APD you need half the force to contain 1 man! Ridiculous
This man was cuffed and on the ground contained by 1 officer before 5 cop cars flew up and multiple officers began beating him with clubs and then released the dog. Completely unnecessary!
Another witness, Betty Alvarez, describes the aftermath:
We drove by after it happened the man was so bloody his face was covered by blood, they beat him up so bad that the ambulance took him. I thought he was jumped by some thug or something, but WOW! The police did it!! This is B.S, I hope he presses charges and to you that filmed this, hope this video helps him out!!! What a shame
At the end of the video we hear an officer saying he wants the cell phones of the people filming. Thankfully the woman who filmed the incident knew her rights and got this video up for the world to see.
Just last week a man was shot by this same department and left bleeding in a driveway for 45 minutes before receiving medical attention, according to a witness.
Seems like Antioch needs more cop watchers demanding accountability.

I believe this is becoming the major theme of this Fourth Turning. It’s us versus them. More people need to be exposed to the militarization of Amurika.
Ignoring this behavior is what THEY want.
I’m sure it must already exist but it seems that an app that would upload cell phone video directly to the cloud is one thing that would negate the need for cops attempting to steal everyone’s evidence…….I mean phones. Something is fucking wrong when the first thing cops do after beating the fuck out of a guy is try to take the phones of witnesses. I’m not saying I saw the cops doing anything except playing dog pile in that video but if their behavior was appropriate and by the book then why the need to take phones of people. Another app that might be useful is one that teaches the sheep how to use the zoom function and hold still.
Both the police violence and lowest common denominator violence needs to come to a head at some point. Maybe we are on that road now. We can only hope.

Even the majority of gang bangers I’ve met did not think it funny to beat up an old, homeless guy. I’ve actually met drug dealers that would take some of their blood money & feed homeless people.
All I’m saying is I never thought I’d see the day when the so-called protectors are doing shit that even the worst criminals wouldn’t do.

There is an Antioch in California on the San Joaquin Delta. It is a bedroom town of middle and lower income families. In 1979 there was a big building boom there, before that it was a farming area. Lots of minorities live there.
I can’t understand this type of behavior, as most of these homeless have mental disorders and drug problems. These cops remind me of unionize thugs.

It does not say what state this took place in, only in Antioch. There is an Antioch, IL, and there are towns named Antioch in other states

Don’t believe everything you see and the seemingly obvious conclusions that can be drawn from it.
Consider other possibilities: 1) the homeless man may have AIDS and he was trying to spit on and infect the police; 2) he was attempting to kick the cops; 3) he was resisting arrest; 4) the homeless man, by his thrashing around, yelling, and threats was commiting disorderly conduct; 5) he was trying to reach an assagi or pistol; or 6) he was trying to encourage others to attack the police and help him. There are many other reasonable possibilities for his provocations and the police actions.
Americans should support the State, its institutions, and the police especially. People only create problems for themselves if they challenge the power structure. Get excited about sports, movie stars, sex, porn, harmless hobbies, or other trivia. Leave power and politics to the police and politicians.

These beatings are repulsive, and most good people have a gut-level response to them. That response will spill over sometime – maybe it is now in Ferguson (though I think not so much).
The problem is that I have a feeling TPTB actually want that, and have a plan to exploit the resulting violence for their continued gain. It’s important to think this through like an extended chess match, figure out their ultimate goal, and thwart it. Part of the problem is the difficult of figuring out who is ultimately “them”, as “they” are probably hidden behind multiple layers of decoys and useful idiots. These thuggish police are useful idiots. Obama is a decoy.
