That “calendar” cartoon is from a year ago, I believe, but I wanted to relay that two of our top research-strategists have just been told they’re going “part time.” Better than being laid off (their benefits are being kept unchanged), but they’re now going to be working 20-hour weeks at half salary. Both are guys in their 50s with families to support.
Sign of the times… business is slowing down for our clients, therefore doubly so for us. Probably only a matter of time before the same “arrangement” is suggested to me.
