Hunt for Taxes Target Corporations
The world economy is imploding faster than anyone suspects. Governments cannot get it through their thick skulls that they consume money – they do not create economic growth. The higher the tax burden, the less disposable income, and the lower economic growth be it individuals or corporations. The difference is capital can flee, labor cannot. That is changing with FATCA. They are hunting global capital but in the process they are wiping out international commerce. The NSA has contributed by now inspiring others to replace US technology because American companies have been compromised. All of this bodes very badly for the future post 2015.
Had a meeting with a tax adviser just last night, he said the same thing, the hounds have been released and the hunt is on, not much any business owner can do but hope.
Hope is not a plan, it may be time to just walk away as I’m tired, been fighting the fight 28 years and I’m not motivated enough anymore.
This has been one of our busiest years ever, not because there is so much work, but because there are less of us left for the available construction work. In my town before the great recession that was declared over in 09′ there were five other competitors, today, just one. Next year maybe none.
On the dark 6:00 am ride into work this morning I couldn’t shake the feeling that this is it, this is the top, the foundation is crumbling and the house of cards can’t stay up much longer.
When it crashes I wonder if it will be slow or fast….
