England Eats S**t: Now ILLEGAL To Defend Yourself

What happened to the country that once conquered, at one time or another, almost every country in the world?  When, exactly, did they turn into a nation of Massive Pussies?

Coming to Amerika … if they ever take away citizen’s guns.

=======================================

Self-Defense Is Now ILLEGAL In The UK

(JD Heyes)  The United Kingdom has been moving politically to the Left for some time now, but even in our wildest dreams, never could we have imagined that it would become illegal to protect yourself there.

As reported by The New American, British subjects seeking advice about what are and are not permissible self-defense instruments found some recently on a police web site. It is sponsored by the British government’s Police National Legal Database.

Q589: Are there any legal self defence products that I can buy?

The police answer:

The only fully legal self defence product… is a rape alarm.

Now, the site goes on to say that there may be other products, but those have yet to be fully tested and that “if you purchase one you must be aware… there is always a possibility that you will be arrested and detained until the product, it’s [sic] contents and legality can be verified.”

That’s not very reassuring, so in an effort to further reduce anxiety about “other” self-defense products, the site points out that any product a British citizen purchases other than a rape alarm “must not [be] a product which is made or adapted to cause a person injury.” Anyone possessing “such a product in public (and in private in specific circumstances) is against the law.”

self-defense

No, this isn’t a joke – it’s real

The site goes on to offer more helpful hints and tips. For instance, a British citizen can use a squirt bottle filled with a safe, but brightly colored, dye that would help police find and arrest an alleged criminal – after an attack. Of course, that approach presumes that the person who is attacked survives it or is able to physically “squirt” his or her attacker before getting the stuffing knocked out of him or her.

But even then, the police database site warns, a citizen should “be aware that even a seemingly safe product… would become an offensive weapon [if] it would be used in a way that was intended to cause injury.”

Then comes this disclaimer: “The above advice is given in good faith, you must make your own decision and this website cannot be held responsible for the consequences of the possession, use or misuse of any self defence product.”

Except, of course, a rape alarm.

Ridiculous? Of course. A phony story? Hardly; click the link above and read it for yourself.

Upon learning of the website and its suggestions regarding how British citizens should, er, not defend themselves, the National Rifle Association did in fact confirm “that British subjects continue to live at the mercy of their potential attackers.” The advice reads like an appeal for victims to graciously suffer criminal violence while removing “any remaining vestiges of the traditional right to self-defense,” the group said.

Self-defense is illegal”

As further noted by The New American:

Real people have experienced the absurdity of such rules being enforced with diligence across the country. Three knife-wielding burglars [guns are illegal in England] invaded a home in England, tied up the family members and threatened to kill the father. One of the members managed to escape and get help. The family member and the helper returned and inflicted permanent brain damage on one of burglars — a criminal, by the way, with more than 50 previous convictions — using a cricket bat. Authorities arrested the defendants — the victims — and sent them to prison for more than two years. The attacker? He escaped punishment.

In another case, a well-known TV personality was seated at her kitchen table with her daughter one night when she caught several young men peering through her window. She immediately began looking around for something to use to defend herself and her daughter from what she believed was an imminent attack and found a kitchen knife. She waved it in front of them and chased them away.

But she was later visited by Hertfordshire police, who summarily informed her that the knife was an “offensive weapon” and, thus, illegal.

She wasn’t arrested, but, as a local report explained: “She was not looking to be a vigilante… but… police explained to her that even if you’re at home alone and you have an intruder, you are not allowed to protect yourself.”

If you have any plans to relocate to the UK, you might want to rethink that decision.

I work for an English company. The other engineer that works with me told me that a guy in his neighborhood was jailed for having a bat next to his bed . Seems that he placed it there for protection. One night someone broke in and he used the bat to work over the intruder . They called the use of the bat premeditation because he had it placed at the ready, which meant that it use was illegal…he got jail time for it .

Sickening………coming to USSA if liberals get their way.

Not coming to the USSA.

NOT.

I repeat, NOT.

The UK is overrun with Fabian socialists and has no “wild” left in it. Its citizens are entirely domesticated ruminants.

The USA is overrun with the same post-humans, but they congregate largely in large cities, particularly on the East Coast. The rest of the country is moving in the opposite direction even as the Old Guard tries to prevent change at the political level.

The pendulum has swung about as far as it could. Too bad for the UK, they were on that bus long enough for all their men to have their genitals removed and estrogen put in their drinking water.

I do have to wonder what their military veterans do there, but then I recall that one of the most “gun free” zones in the USA is a military base. The military doesn’t produce men, it produces obedient dogs, some of whom are undoubtedly as vicious as any animal on Earth, but dogs they remain, obedient to the point of self-destruction.

We stand on the edge of a MASSIVE reversal; sad for men in the UK, their balls long ago atrophied down to dust and when the reversal occurs there won’t be enough testosterone left in the British Isles to muster a single Anglo-Saxon warrior.

The only men with testosterone left in the UK are its recent immigrants (who also happen to be the source of much of their violent crime.)

Watching the UK is like viewing the movie 28 Days Later. No humans left, only zombies that look vaguely human and who devour any of their neighbors who display signs of latent human character.

As Rudyard Kipling said, a man can’t have too many books, too much red wine or too much ammunition. Nobody is going to disarm Americans. I laugh when I read the people who say, “when the police come for your guns you will hand them over.” Negative. The police are not going to be stupid enough to try it and there are not enough Feds. An attempt to forcibly confiscate guns (outside of urban hellholes run by Democrats) will end in dead citizens and dead people wearing uniforms trying to steal people’s property, and then it will stop on a dime. Politicians who authorize such nonsense will realize they have put themselves and their families in imminent danger. As for, “Oh, you can’t stand up to the army, drones, nerve gas, etc.”, if you seriously think that the weasels in the Federal government are stupid enough to try using those weapons against us you really are in La-La Land. Ain’t gonna happen, no matter what that hag Feinstein may think. Having said this, if you are a white man and do not won an AR-15 or something similar with a few thousand rounds, you are a blithering idiot. Exception made for those who live in places like Massachusetts. And by the way, if the crap hits the fan anyway and the smoke finally clears, don’t think we will forget our liberal Domestic Enemies. A little harsh re-education and rectal feeding will be coming their way.

What? Because a few idiots got caught in the open by the (very widely dispersed) cop/Nat’l guard patrols?

For every gun those clowns confiscated there were 4,000 more guns within a 1/4 mile in any direction. Few people have any idea how many guns are spread out in the USA because MORONs think phone surveys reveal the truth.

I know, I know, MAFF IS HAUD.

Do the numbers, you moron(s), FOR ONCE! Want to know why the USA isn’t going to become the UK? Do the f-ing MATH!

From: http://monsterhunternation.com/2012/12/20/an-opinion-on-gun-control/

“You crazy gun nuts and your 2nd Amendment. We should just confiscate all the guns.”

Many of you may truly believe that. You may think that the 2nd Amendment is archaic, outdated, and totally pointless. However, approximately half of the country disagrees with you, and of them, a pretty large portion is fully willing to shoot somebody in defense of it.

We’ve already seen that your partial bans are stupid and don’t do anything, so unless you are merely a hypocrite more interested in style rather than results, the only way to achieve your goal is to come and take the guns away. So let’s talk about confiscation.

They say that there are 80 million gun owners in America. I personally think that number is low for a few reasons. The majority of gun owners I know, when contacted for a phone survey and asked if they own guns, will become suspicious and simply lie. Those of us who don’t want to end like England or Australia will say that we lost all of our guns in a freak canoe accident.

Guns do not really wear out. I have perfectly functioning guns from WWI, and I’ve got friends who have still useable firearms from the 1800s. Plus we’ve been building more of them this entire time. There are more guns than there are people in America, and some of us have enough to arm our entire neighborhood.

But for the sake of math, let’s say that there are only 80 million gun owners, and let’s say that the government decides to round up all those pesky guns once and for all. Let’s be generous and say that 90% of the gun owners don’t really believe in the 2nd Amendment, and their guns are just for duck hunting. Which is what politicians keep telling us, but is actually rather hilarious when you think about how the most commonly sold guns in America are the same detachable magazine semiautomatic rifles I talked about earlier.

So ten percent refuse to turn their guns in. That is 8 million instantaneous felons. Let’s say that 90% of them are not wanting to comply out of sheer stubbornness. Let’s be super generous and say that 90% of them would still just roll over and turn their guns when pressed or legally threatened. That leaves 800,000 Americans who are not turning their guns in, no matter what. To put that in perspective there are only about 700,000 police officers in the whole country.

Let’s say that these hypothetical 10% of 10% are willing to actually fight to keep their guns. Even if my hypothetical estimate of 800,000 gun nuts willing to fight for their guns is correct, it is still 97% higher than the number of insurgents we faced at any one time in Iraq, a country about the size of Texas.

However, I do honestly believe that it would be much bigger than 10%. Once the confiscations turned violent, then it would push many otherwise peaceful people over the edge. I saw somebody on Twitter post about how the 2nd Amendment is stupid because my stupid assault rifles are useless against drones… That person has obviously never worked with the people who build the drones, fly the drones, and service the drones. I have. Where to you think the majority of the US military falls on the political spectrum exactly? There’s a reason Mitt Romney won the military vote by over 40 points, and it wasn’t because of his hair.

And as for those 700,000 cops, how many of them would side with the gun owners? All the gun nuts, that’s for sure. As much as some people like to complain about the gun culture, many of the people you hire to protect you, and darn near all of them who can shoot well, belong to that gun culture. And as I hear people complain about the gun industry, like it is some nebulous, faceless, all powerful corporate thing which hungers for war and anarchy, I just have to laugh, because the gun industry probably has the highest percentage of former cops and former military of any industry in the country. My being a civilian was odd in the circles I worked in. The men and women you pay to protect you have honor and integrity, and they will fight for what they believe in.

So the real question the anti-gun, ban and confiscate, crowd should be asking themselves is this, how many of your fellow Americans are you willing to have killed in order to bring about your utopian vision of the future?

Boo Evil Gun Culture!

Really? Because I hate to break it to you, but when nearly six hundred people get murdered a year in beautiful Gun Free Chicago, that’s not my people doing the shooting.

The gun culture is all around you, well obviously except for those of you reading this in elite liberal urban city centers where you’ve extinguished your gun culture. They are your friends, relatives, and coworkers. The biggest reason gun control has become increasingly difficult to pass over the last decade is because more and more people have turned to CCW, and as that has become more common, it has removed much of the stigma. Now everybody outside of elite urban liberal city centers knows somebody that carries a gun. The gun culture is simply regular America, and is made up of people who think their lives and their families lives are more important than the life of anyone who tries to victimize them.

The gun culture is who protects our country. Sure, there are plenty of soldiers and cops who are issued a gun and who use it as part of their job who could care less. However, the people who build the guns, really understand the guns, actually enjoy using the guns, and usually end up being picked to teach everybody else how to use the guns are the gun culture.

The media and the left would absolutely love to end the gun culture in America, because then they could finally pass all the laws they wanted.

Let’s take a look at what happens when a country finally succeeds in utterly stamping out its gun culture. Mumbai, 2008. Ten armed jihadi terrorists simply walked into town and started shooting people. It was a rather direct, straight forward, ham fisted, simple terrorist attack. They killed over 150 and wounded over 300. India has incredibly strict gun laws, but once again, criminals didn’t care.

That’s not my point this time however, I want to look at the response. These ten men shut down an entire massive city and struck fear into the hearts of millions for THREE DAYS. Depending on where this happened in America it would have been over in three minutes or three hours. The Indian police responded, but their tactics sucked. The marksmanship sucked. Their leadership sucked. Their response utterly and completely fell apart.

In talking afterwards with some individuals from a small agency of our government who were involved in the clean-up and investigation, all of whom are well trained, well practiced, gun nuts, they told me the problem was that the Indian police had no clue what to do because they’d never been taught what to do. Their leadership hated and feared the gun so much that they stamped out the ability for any of their men to actually master the tool. When you kill your gun culture, you kill off your instructors, and those who can pass down the information necessary to do the job.

Don’t think that we are so far off here. I recently got to sit down with some fans who are members of one of the larger metro police departments in America. These guys were all SWAT cops or narcotics, all of them were gun nuts who practiced on their own dime, and all of them were intimately familiar with real violence. These are the guys that you want responding when the real bad stuff goes down.

What they told me made me sick. Their leadership was all uniformly liberal and extremely anti-gun, just like most big cities in America. They walked me through what their responses were supposed to be in case of a Mumbai style event, and how their “scary assault weapons” were kept locked up where they would be unavailable, and how dismal their training was, and how since the state had run off or shut down most of the gun ranges, most of the cops couldn’t even practice or qualify anymore.

So now they were less safe, the people they were protecting were less safe, the bad guys were safer, but most importantly their leadership could pat themselves on the back, because they’d done something.

Well, okay. You make some good points. But I’d be more comfortable if you gun people were force to have more mandatory training!

And I did actually have this one said to me, which is an amazing victory by internet arguing standards.

Mandatory training is a placebo at best. Here is my take on why.

I don’t mind some minimal training on handling a firearm. Some very smart people can be very dumb if they are ignorant about guns. One of my good friends who is a doctor, from jim’s city of brotherly love, wanted to learn about guns, having never shot one. I thought I gave him a pretty good safety run through. Never saw so many people hit the deck as his first trip to the range

star, the first rule to teaching a newbie is ONE BULLET ONLY. I also stand close enough that I can force them to keep muzzle pointed down range if they try to turn and point it elsewhere. If they persist in poor muzzle etiquette then it’s either lesson over or we retire to the back yard and practice with air soft guns.

NRA: Gun blogs, videos, web forums threatened by new Obama regulation

http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/nra-gun-blogs-videos-web-forums-threatened-by-new-obama-regulation/article/2565762

“Commonly used and unregulated internet discussions and videos about guns and ammo could be closed down under rules proposed by the State Department, amounting to a “gag order on firearm-related speech,” the National Rifle Association is warning.

In updating regulations governing international arms sales, State is demanding that anyone who puts technical details about arms and ammo on the web first get the OK from the federal government — or face a fine of up to $1 million and 20 years in jail.”

Arms maker to sell 6,134 guns a day to benefit NRA

“We’re bringing back the One Million Gun Challenge with a twist. Our goal is to sell two million firearms between the 2015 and 2016 NRA Annual Meetings,” said Ruger CEO Mike Fifer in a statement.

“We believe we can do it again,” he said, referring to the successful 2012 effort.

“The next year and a half, until President Obama leaves office, is the most dangerous period in history for the Second Amendment and our freedom. The next election is all or nothing for America’s gun owners. To help build the most effective and toughest NRA ever, the commitment of Ruger is vital in our fight to take back the White House and save our freedom,” said Wayne LaPierre, the gun group’s executive vice president.

Cox added, “By supporting the NRA’s fight to defend the right to keep and bear arms, Ruger not only advances the rights of American gun owners and hunters — they also directly benefit the freedoms and safety of all Americans.”

Cox’s shop has been effective in blocking gun control in recent years, most notably after the Sandy Hook, Conn., shootings in 2012 and the recent effort by the administration to ban a popular ammo used in AR-15s.”

Never had trouble intro-ing someone to guns, kids included.

I agree, key is stand close, start with a 22 rifle. Nothing like a hot casing down the shirt to cause someone to lose muzzle discipline. Most people new to guns strongly prefer a 22 rifle anyway. No recoil, no blast and it’s easy to hit the target. Every pistol on the planet teaches people just how ridiculous are TV and movie plots where people do amazing, near impossible feats of accuracy. Few people are actually Jerry Miculek.

Mandatory training is like mandatory common sense. This is why if you have it, wearing body armor to the range is not a bad an idea (unless it’s warm.) I was muzzle swept with a loaded 22 pistol by a kid whose grandfather was too F-ing busy yacking to watch the (guessing) 12 year old fatty.

I’ve seen people be pretty dumb with guns. That said, additional training would have just made them better trained and still just as dumb with guns. People who take it seriously do, people who don’t take it seriously don’t.

Keep in mind, everyone can vote at 18, thus guaranteeing a “government” elected by categorically stupid people.

How do you spell fun? A 10/22 with a 25 round mag, with a target that jumps or reacts sitting in front of the berm at an outdoor range. Anyone who doesn’t enjoy that doesn’t know how to enjoy life at all.

They are planning confiscation….bet on it . I’ve told this story before but there may be a few folks who haven’t heard it .

My stepson ( I’m divorced from his mom now ) came to the house one Saturday ( around 2004 ) and asked me a what would I do if he came to the house and wanted my guns ? I asked him if he was asking as an FBI agent or my stepson ? He said what does it matter ? I told him to answer the question. He replied Ok,as an FBI agent. I told him that I kill him right where he stood and anyone else who was with him. I explained that once I lost my means of protection I was no longer a citizen…I was a subject .

One thing to remember..when the gooberment says that 1 million or so guns were purchased last year based on background checks…that data is false. There is only one background check taken via your purchase . So if you buy three guns the background check isn’t done for each weapon. When Obozo was first elected I was at the gun store the next Saturday. I saw 3 dozen folks there making multiple purchases. 36 background checks ..over 100 firearms purchased.

Southern Sage,
You are only partially right about Massachusetts, while it is a bastion of liberalism, there is still an ingrained gun culture in many of its citizens. The very liberal south shore town I live in voted nearly 65% for BO, yet it has a gun range that is packed every weekend. Same as the town next door. Many of the people that I know have weapons never, ever talk about their gun ownership out in the open, sadly they fear they cannot, this state will make you paranoid. Everyone I know that owns a gun, owns more than one, usually several times more than one. While hunting has been in a years long decline, due to progressive anti-hunting propaganda and the loss of hunting grounds from development, as well as stricter laws, there are still a significant number of hunters in the state. This state may be steeped in its fucked up liberal ideologies, but if it ever tried a gun confiscation program it would not look like what happened after the marathon bombing. Police around here that I know want no part of an attempted gun confiscation program, they feel it would be another reason to get shot at.

Bob.

@ raggy,

Yep, they sure did beg us for weapons. They were so weapons poor – and we still had a puny military, had not yet been attacked at Pearl or ramped up any of our industry – that Old Winston came begging hat in hand for anything we could spare.

And Americans responded with a powerful will. We sent them weapons and ammo by the shipload.

Most of it was handed out to Home Guard units and regular citizens when it looked like the Herms were gonna cross the Channel and wreck their shit…

After the war, as a “Thank You”, all those beautiful weapons were rounded up and unceremoniously dumped into the sea… all, except one. One of the gun mags did an article on it back in the 80’s. It was the only rifle to make it home, and that was because dude carved into the stock his name, address and a request that it be returned after the war…

When I was over there, back in the early 90’s, I took a long walk one day. Teeming down rain – in June – about 45 degrees… you know, nice English weather… anyways, I ended up on a park bench next to a lake, watching the ducks.

This old fellow comes along, sits down next to me. We started talking and turns out he was one of the Green Devils back during WWII. Since I was 1/507th Parachute Infantry, of course we got along and became fast friends.

We started talking about politics, and I just saw this look on his face… dude was righteously pissed off. Basically, he felt that everything they had gone through – all the bleeding and dying, sacrifice and fighting – was for fuck-all. He felt betrayed – played for a chump – and I felt for the old guy… truly.

Little did I know that I would feel the same damn way 30 years later.

He’s since passed on. I think those who inflict this sort of insane shit on people are counting their lucky stars those old guys aren’t still around in greater numbers and ability…. I’m thinking they’d be stood up against the nearest handy brick wall and shot for treason by those old duffers…

And the younger generations don’t have the sand to do it…

Mores the pity.

Read Larry Correia’s rant about gun control. He points out what happens when the gun-phobes get their wish: Mumbai, India, where a handful of terrorists terrorized for days because the “cops” had no gun culture from which to draw training, tactics or skill.

There’s something purely repulsive about a human being who fears guns so much that they want their neighbors made helpless.

I take some solace in the belief that those who think physical security can be ordered by phone, to be delivered like a pizza, will last a very, very short time if things get truly ugly in coming years.

I used to work at a summer camp and did meet many Englishmen who were almost without exception funny and decent people. There were among them the footballers, rough types who spoke a dialect virtually impossible to understand. I liked them too. But I’d hate to be one the other end of their wrath. A friend of mine happened to walk in on a girlfriend of a guy from Liverpool, showering. Next thing I know, the footballer, who found out from a little weasel kid, is on the warpath and declares he’s gonna rip my buddy’s head off with his teeth. We sent said friend off in a van to an undisclosed location, and recruited the Russian karate counselor, who was a badass, scary actually, to be with us in corralling the footballer, wild with rage, until he cooled down.

I wonder how many of those guys are hanging around in London and Liverpool. If there are lots of them, I wouldn’t count the English out just yet.

Read Bill Buford’s book, “Among the thugs”. He describes these types perfectly. 10,000 of them would be enough to terrify the entire kneegrow kingdom of Bodymore.

I had a brief discussion with an anti-gun neighbor and I made a comment to him that I find anti-gun people are people that have no experience with guns and are making judgments based on what is in the news and various forms of media and not from personal experience.

He informed me that wasn’t true in his case; he was quite experienced when it came to guns, as a matter of fact he had actually fired a gun once.

I SHIT YOU NOT!!
