Wall Street won a huge victory and continues to win as the average person sinks further into poverty and despair. They have done the same thing with TPP. The vast majority of people in this country do not want it passed. They will pass it anyway, because the corruption and arrogance of the ruling class runs deep. They don’t give a fuck about you. Their time will come. A storm is brewing and they will eventually pay for their sins against mankind.

You didn’t want TARP. You don’t want illegal immigration or an amnesty, nor the Central Americans coming last year. You don’t want H-1B’s, the Trans-Pacific Partnership Treaty, QE’s, ZIRP, all the surveillance you’re under, the wars with other countries.
But that doesn’t matter, BECAUSE YOU DON’T COUNT!
They could give a flying fig about you. If you voted all of the psychopaths out, corporate America would just ensure that the next ones were equal to the ones who left, or worse.
But, you’re right, their day will come.
The White Rose society is an interesting case, of people with good morals and a firm will, but absolutely no effectiveness. One wonders how they might have influenced things if they had taken the violent route against Hitler’s regime instead of the passive intellectual route. They probably would have died just the same, and perhaps sooner, but might have had some greater effect.
