1) making fluoride pollution from nuclear material production seem harmless, and
2) It has some degree of deadening effect on people’s will.
Seriously. It’s been shown to be an ineffective way of preventing tooth decay. (There have been major reductions in cavities, but it’s mostly from fluoride toothpaste and brushing, not drinking small amounts of it constantly.)

Fluoride is the by-product of aluminum production, the disposal cost is astronomical. Put the toxic waste in the water supply and the benefit is two-fold, dumbed down populace that will die earlier and problem solved on disposal cost. Win/win for TPTB.
Fluoride is top of the list of most toxic poisons on the planet. I will not buy fluoride toothpaste or use water from municipal sources. This needs to stop.

My current dentist is amazed at how thick the enamel is on my teeth and commented that I must have spent my early childhood years in places that had fluoridated water. He said that consuming fluoridated water in the early years before the permanent teeth erupt makes a huge difference but after that point it doesn’t do much good. I never investigated to see if my childhood homes had fluoridated water but I don’t have a problem with cavities.
