The question is – which American people…
Sure feels like “someone’s” interest is being taken care of?
I would place the blame more on Congress and the President involved than on the Fed.
They’re the ones responsible for the “free trade” stuff that has transferred our wealth manufacturing industry to China and third world countries and left us without anything to support a viable middle class.
And they continue to do so with the current Obama TPP push that apparently has total congressional blessings on it.
The Fed is as devoted to the American people as Stalin was to the Ukrainian peasants.
But at the end of the day, what does it matter? The Fed, Wall Street, Congress and Ovomit do whatever they feel like doing and the rest of us sit back and suck it.
I immediately chuckled when I read the title. Their lies via obfuscation have become so blatant that they are now tolerated instead of challenged.
What you guys are saying is all valid, question is, what do we DO about it? Same old-same old ain’t cuttin’ it. We’ve got to break out of our Gop vs Dem, Lib vs Consv, playpen because it’s going to take a truly UNITED EFFORT to rock this country out of the ditch and back on the road to prosperity for the common Man.
Bernie Sanders is our guy. He’s the ONLY candidate running that is calling for a REVOLUTION to wake up the U.S. Don’t dismiss him because you think you disagree with his politics. IF you LISTEN to what he says, I think you’ll agree with most of it, unless you’re a member of the far right looney-bin.
Coast….Bernie is a communist. He is also a pathetic individual supporting GloBull Warming (a cash register for governments and mega-corps) and which also controls energy – just what we need, a dysfunctional gov’t that can’t manage the economy, can’t manage a healthcare (insurance) system, or anything, and you want him to have our gov’t control energy.

No matter how many times TBP posters explain to Westcoaster that Sanders is a flaming , hopeless liberal socialist dog, he comes right back to puke out his love for ole Bernie. Perhaps Westie was dropped on his head as a infant, who knows, but something is really wrong with a guy who worships at the feet of a putrid socialist when we are already drowning in the deeds of the Marxist Oreo.

My goodness, Kokoda, you and Bea need to get together on your definitions. Kokoda says Bernie is a Communist, while Bea says he’s a “flaming hopeless liberal socialist dog”, then goes on to describe Obama as a Marxist.
@Suzanna: I agree with most of what you said, and Bernie Sanders is the ONLY candidate calling for a “sweeping revolution”. He’s also spent a good deal of his life serving the people in his district. You can’t say that for any of the other “candidates”.
These are the choices we’re dealt, folks. You can bury you head in the sand and name-call, but the bottom line is, would you rather have a fascist state with extra waterboarding (Trump), or would you rather have a democratic socialist state with a person at the helm who has proven he “gets it” about who is serving who. Far as I can see Trump is only interested in serving himself. I don’t mention Hitlery because I’m hoping she’ll be indicted long before the primary.
