The access to the ‘Safe Zone’ is a little complicated.
1.) Turn off the lights, loose the drapes – in the dark you can’t see that which causes you fear/emotional distress.
2.) Turn off all sources of noise: Radio, TV, YouTube etc. – Auditory stimulus is scary/potentially harmful.
3.) Go back to your computer and click the little ‘x’ on the TBP window

That’s funny, Back in PA, because whether you know it or not EC claims I set up a safe zone for him and Jfish to bicker over in the Andy Griffith post comment thread long gone, but once in a while you may notice it pops up. I have several safe zones that I use. If I am close enough to grab someone I actually feel safer then if they are more than 15 feet away. This is when I am not carrying.
When I am carrying my safe zone extends to 100 feet. The safe zone also includes everyone within that 100 foot circle.
If I have a long gun with optics my safe zone is 500 meters. Again almost everyone within 500 meters is now included in my safe zone.

As an old guy, I can recall the teen years when I could detect the littlest of nuances in gestures, words and even subtle expressions.
I am no longer so sensitive to these things, my hearing is shot, my eyes are a bit clouded with floaters, my fingers are hard and can’t feel much in the way of temperature of pick up the small stuff like coins or twizzle sticks.
