El Nino….they are normal and regularly occur, but with different strengths. This one generated late in the season as opposed to 1998 where it hit the east coast in summer with 2 days of 100 degree F temps.

Weather is fickle, the “el Nino” has happened in the past, I remember many warm Christmas holidays, only to be followed by brutal cold Arctic fronts. Warm weather in the winter is a blessing, unless it is followed by severe damaging violent fronts. Please don’t put your long johns up yet, and be thankful for saving on utilities.

It was warmer in 2006. I was at a friends adirondack camp in 2006 to new years 07 and it was In the 60’s. It upper 30’s there now. Cant hunt or log I this weather.

For Card….Consensus is not science; a scientific hypothesis or theory is substantiated by the observable data that is provided by the hypothesis/theory. In the case of GloBull Warming, the observable data by satellite data (with platinum resistance thermometeers – the best thermometers in existence), has falsified the hypothesis; at the same time, CO2 levels have increased steadily in the atmosphere.

This is the 3rd 80 degree Christmas Eve/Christmas day in Georgia that I remember over the last 35 years. In those same 35 or so years, I remember 2 Christmas Eve/Christmas days that were in single digits. All the other times it was just regular Goldilocks weather.
It’s called temperature extremes which occur at both the upper and lower ends of the averages.

It’s been snowing like a sonofabitch here in Utah for the past two weeks. Winter just started and I am already sick to death of shoveling the goddamn snow. We’ve had close to a couple of feet already.

Climate scientists can tell us that the earth has experienced many ice ages in the past, lasting hundreds of thousands of years, they can tell us that during a thousands of year long ice age the earth will experience warming periods, or interglacials.
The point I keep pointing out to the man caused crowd is our scientist and their consensus is they know for a fact that the earth has been there and done that, ice ball then warmed up, and will do so again, what they don’t know is the why. They can only come up with a theory that they all agree on because they have no freaking clue.
We are in the Quaternary Ice age presently and in a warming trend.
Our weather is being engineered. Do a little research and see who owns the weather channel. The weather “forecasts” are designed to match what you see as they engineer it. We are being PLAYED with horrific health issues to go along with the lies. People will continue to pretend the weather outside their door is normal and go along with the talking heads on tv until the tipping point. And that day is not far. Watch what happens then.
