The Swiss have been practicing blowing mountain passes and ambushing potential enemies in those narrow mountain passes for hundreds of years. They even hollowed out the St. Gotthard’s Massiv and turned the mountain into a gigantic redoubt – impervious to air and ground attacks – that can feed and house at least a division of men and support types for at least a year… and that’s just the one I know about. The bunkers that you see dotting the Swiss countryside are the ones they allow you to see… Good luck in locating the ones they don’t want you to see. They are extremely sophisticated and not to be fucked with…
These are the same guys – the Landesknecht – who were so bad-assed, the Holy See itself forbade the Kings and princes of Europe from hiring their mercenaries – since anyone who could afford them was invincible. My plans have not been modified or rethought.
I never said “send my family to Germany”. While Germany would be their initial destination, the way the EU is set up now, anyone from any EU country can go and work/live anywhere in any other EU country. The country I have chosen as their stopping point, I don’t think I have ever mentioned it. On purpose.
However, even if they are prevented from going there and have to remain in Germany, southern Germany/Black Forest area (where my family is from) is it’s own little stronghold. Solidly conservative and traditional, and to a certain extent way better armed than the rest of the country. They are the rednecks/Southerners of Germany. If Very Bad Things were to befall Germany, the best place to be is down in the Black Forest, hard up against the Alps.
Anyways, any contingency plan is always subject to modification… Your plan encounters reality and then you just gotta make shit up as you go… We can do nothing else.

Billy, it’s looking (to me) like Europe is being set up to be the front lines for the battle against islam. I was thinking it might be probable that your German family would need to come here rather than the other way round. It looks like Europe is choosing death by a thousand cuts.
