Muck’s Minute #19

Not my Daddy’s World

I wonder what world we’re living in these days.  Surely not the one I was born into, grew up on, worked at and lived through.

When an Oscar Nomination Committee gets castigated for not nominating anyone of color for an Oscar (for two years in a row, I think) all that means to me is that no person of color was cast in an “Oscar Possible” project or part nor performed at the level where they rose above the ever larger and crowded mass of actors and actresses who inhabit sound stages of Hollywood.

If we are going to force art into white/color mold, on a whole it too will deteriorate just like our schools and every other agenda where it has been applied.

And then there’s Norway, a rather pleasant, if cold, country that is fast going down the tubes greased by their own liberality and idiocy.  They just cancelled a traditional festival (going back a hundred years or more I expect) where little boys dressed as superheroes and little girls dressed up as princesses and such.

Why did they cancel it? Terrorists? Nope. They cancelled it because it may be forcing prepubescent children into fixed gender roles and for some reason that may be thought of as not being Politically Correct.  Gag!

Then we get to the current political farce for President this year where there is not one single candidate of either political persuasion that I would want leading a pre-school, much less a Nation like what the U.S.A. used to be.

Trump(et), who never finishes a sentence without ten off-shoots into odd and not understandable side issues; Cruz who, if nominated, will be in court to “settle” the Constitutional question of his being a Canadian born American when the elections roll around; Hillary, who has such bags full of lies, swindles and is under Federal Investigation for violating no end of Federal Law and Regulations by spewing forth Top Secret (and above) documents from her “private” server (wanna bet who bought and programmed it?) and finally good old Bernie who has never seen a Socialist Program he didn’t love and wouldn’t stop until everyone in this country (other than the PTB) were all equally below the poverty level through additional taxes, debt issue, money printing and give aways (in other words – continuing what is going on now for another 4/8 years squared).

Does anyone think we can survive another 4/8 years of what has been going on the last 8 years? I don’t.

But the whole damn thing is it doesn’t matter who is elected President (or Congress – whom you will notice is totally absent from any visibility or campaigning for their own reelections in 2016).

The die is cast.  Tricky Dick Nixon flipped the destruct switch in 1973 when he removed the very last limit on Federal Governmental spending/borrowing/debt/money printing. As you should remember, he closed the golden window whereby international debts between countries were settled, thereby putting the whole world on the path to fiat destruction.

Richard Russell, the grand old master of investment analysis and Dow Theory first made the statement, “Inflate or Die!” many years ago when he saw – before anyone else – the handwriting on the wall as far as unlimited Government power to print, borrow and spend. His dictum remains today as a perfectly short, clear and accurate statement as to the trap the Federal Government has backed first us and now the whole world into.

Those three words “Inflate or Die” are the shortest, most to the point and all encompassing description of reality in the world of Economics.  They say it all.

Regardless of who is elected President (or to Congress), we are locked into those three words which, of course, lead to lots and lots of consequences such as financial collapse, depression, possibly even the end of the U.S.A. as we know it.

The timing is impossible to guess, since a good part of the lesser countries in the world will likely go down the tubes before we do and in the process, in great panic, try to transfer as many assets as they have to the U.S.A. in the mis-belief that we are secure and will preserve those assets until the storm has passed.  Too bad because we’re going to go right down  the vortex along with the rest – maybe last or near to it, but down we will go.

So my thinking is this.  Vote for Trump – just for laughs and giggles. It doesn’t matter what he does – a nose bleed depression (or a war) will be the result – but even Trump with his autocratic ways – may stand a better chance of preventing the total destruction of what we believe in – even it it means autocracy for a while as he rules with a baseball bat instead of “compromise” which got us where we are today.

Everyone else in the field (right now) is nothing more than a can-kicker or a crook or a Socialist and the cliff where the can goes ass-over-teakettle is just a few yards down the road.  I’d rather vote for Rand Paul if he weren’t on the wrong side about women’s rights – but the same fate would accompany him into office just like any of the others.

The US team is down one run in the bottom of the ninth with two men out. The crowd is calling for Babe Trump who is the best batter on the team to pinch hit. The announcer is telling folks he is the most unPC player in the world. What would you do if you were the manager?

So true and so pathetic. One would think that in a country of 322 million people we could find perhaps one person that is capable of leading this nation. I imagine that we could, but honest decent people need not apply.

Thaisleeze, if JP Morgan says it…got to be the Gospel Truth; you can take it to the bank (haha). Any insight on the Currency Reset? I’m guessing that is what all the 19Feb buzz is about and a dollar depreciation of about 30% follows. I’ve written that all the ships at anchor, store closings, layoffs, military exercises, government agency arms, media silence and the bank Currency Controls are probably are part of it. When America starts running out of cargo shipped food and our shelves are getting sparse, then working Americans will have to accept 30% inflation and the food will return. I believe Obama wanted it all put off until Oct but the BRICS justifiably hate his stinking ass. Will be a political blast: the Welfare Maggots will demand more and take to the streets for Sanders; the taxpayers will finally get furious on principle and about being required to pay more taxes than they can afford. Then before the smoke can settle, I bet hyperinflation will be caused by the quadrillion dollars foreigners have stashed.

I see at least 10 more years of this current path we are on,
it is a parallel to Japan, who has been printing money for the last 20 years.

Japan has been able to keep their economy on life support using the same policies we are just now employing, and they are well into another lost decade.

Unless our US Dollar looses reserve status, we will putter along at less than nominal growth, and inflation will continue to eat away at the buying power of the US dollar.

Fortunately for us, the rest of the developed world is in worse shape, so, we still have some time to plan for a future that costs more and provides less.

We are at peak growth, and peak debt, and the only solution is to inflate the currency to service the debt with cheap money.

and it never matters who is elected to any office, they are all tools of their respective owners/campaign donors.

Pablito, this recession will become a depression because banks can’t loan out money at any less than 0% and what they have loaned out at 0% ain’t coming back. The Debt-Growth rubber band got wound too tight and broke. Japan’s economy was import-export and that died as will their over printed currency. The EU countries starting with Italy, Spain, Portugal will turn into big Greeks. The US isn’t in a position to print much longer because the BRICS decided to crush the NYC banksters that robbed them and Obama has made a royal ass of himself and America. The Petro-Dollar is almost history; the US gold was stolen; we don’t manufacture or mine crap; we import half our food; there might be a quadrillion dollars of inflation about to come out of hiding; the Chinese are only selling US Bonds and their Yuan joined the Global Currency Basket in Jan2016; the Currency Reset will devalue the dollar about 30% to balance the currencies of Russia, Canada, Brazil, Venezuela (a little), etc. That will could set off riots here like in South America and give Obama his excuse for Martial Law. This is not the usual our father’s recession; it’s the First and Last Global Hyperinflation Depression.

Suzanna, anybody who really knows details about a currency change and talked would be killed and his family. A devaluation amounts to TPTB robbing the banks. If the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through. TPTB want to catch the Goy sleeping with their money in the banks and brokerages. I don’t know if Feb2016 is a leak or a guess but a secret big dollar depreciation is probably overdue. Buy essentials like food, guns and silver. Obama is a very bad man behind the idiot act and Cheshire Cat grin.

NickelthroweR says: I, for one, believe that people get the government that they deserve.

People get the government they choose from the selection available. HST said, – When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro.

Dylan said, the times, they are a – changin’. Look around, Nickle, all these folks talking about how important black lives are. They see the writing on the wall. They know the times are changing. The new deal is coming to an end. They want to hold on to it but, tough shit, it’s going.

That’s why there is this frantic push to inject black lies into every conversation. The MSM sees their relevance evaporating, They are trying to counteract that by selling out to the black lies matter bullshit. They sold out to tranvestites, handed Caitlyn the woman of the year award without a contest or the most basic of talent or speech portion.

You should recognize this drama. It’s the desperate behavior of an asshole about to get fired from his house. He suddenly is buying the old lady the rings he never got her the last 20 years. He act jealous of her new boyfriend after years of chasing ass on the side. This is your government, your news channels, your black thugs suddenly trying desperately to hold on to their favorite assfuck. I can almost hear the soon to be ejected moaning now.

So please, don’t tell me that what is coming down the pike is what people deserve. It is what they choose to apply to the assholes that have been fucking them for far too long.

Here’s a lesson on liberal insanity.

A friend of mine on the left is heavily into this political correctness horseshit. So on a social media site he wrote:

‘I learned years ago that if I said something that offended someone then I am offensive. I did not wish to ever be offensive so I changed my behaviors and speech.’

This exemplifies the thought process that occurs in the stunted brains of liberals.

Since I don’t give a goddamn what anybody thinks of what I say or do, this was my response:

‘I learned years ago that nobody looks up to a fucking doormat.”

Here’s another analogy, Suzie, It has to do with the debate sans Trump:

I had to put on my hearing aids because I’m going for another job. I had to take a physical and did poorly on the hearing part. I asked for a retest this time using my hearing aids. They were whispering numbers at me, I cranked the audio waaayyy up so I wouldn’t fail. I passed. Then I took off the aids and went about my business. So then the sexy mulatta tells me I ought to wear them often. I look it up and sure enough, she’s right.

I put them on, I forgot that I had turned the volume up. It was unbearable. The sexy mulatta asks if I can’t turn the volume down. Sure enough, that did the trick. I can hear stuff I ouldn’t listen to before because of the irritating crunching of my shoes, swooshes of air, popping plastic bottles, crashing dishes, and that irritating clicking of the house alarm my wife has been complaining about but I never heard.

Walking around without hearing is like walking around without glasses. Scary.

Respectfully, all: money is debt. a great reset may be coming, however IMHO deflation far beyond that experienced in the last “great” depression is underway, and will get worse. The Chinese will not be shipping supertankers full of greenbacks home to the USA. Our crazy dollar/ stock market is where europeans (and others) have to go to prevent pauperization at home. Look for a head-fake down in the markets followed by IRAs being plundered; frozen bank accounts ala Cyprus will mean few dollars to buy whatever cheap assets might be available after the elite pick them for pennies on the dollar: similar to the last depressions. Must agree with food, guns, and ammo for investments on the home front, though.

Muck – good post! Here’s an interesting immigration link. This fellow says: “Contrary to popular myth, we were never a country in which new immigrants and the births of immigrants were the majority of our population growth. The vast majority of our population growth always came from our incredibly high native fertility.”

When fertility declined in the 1970’s, Congress continued to increase immigration levels from the traditional 250,000 per year, and eventually increased it to 1,000,000 per year. You will see from the video where the U.S. is heading, population-wise. The host calls for immigration to be used to “replace” the people who leave the country, which will sustain the population, but won’t increase it exponentially.

He made another video re world poverty. Some people think that world poverty will be helped if richer countries continue to bring large numbers of immigrants in. He points out that doing this doesn’t even make a dent, and he uses gumballs to make his point.

Lastly, I like what Karl Denninger has to say re Mexicans crossing the border. He says you don’t need a wall. All you have to do is (1) enforce existing laws (fine the crap out of employers who hire illegal aliens), and (2) stop all benefits to illegals (free medical, education, etc.) Once these two things are stopped, they will simply turn around and go back home.

Nixon slammed the gold window on Charles de Gaulle’s bony fingers on August 15, 1971. The oil embargo was caused when the Saudis revolted (they are revolting, aren’t they?) against selling real assets for pieces of paper called “dollars”. Kissinger struck the deal in 1973 whereby the Saudis (and OPEC) were convinced to recycle “dollars” into the treasury via the bond market and receive a nice stipend in the form of a high interest rate, plus they got to buy all sorts of toys from defense contractors. The depression of 73-76 was baked into the system, and all of us had to suffer through it.

Excellent post Muck, I am much in agreement.

Frankly, I probably don’t possess the level of sophistication it takes to understand the subtle currents of “national security intelligence”, which is necessary to connect all of the dots of international affairs into a coherent map of reality.

What I do have is a pretty good Bull Shit meter, so that I can mostly tell the difference between proven, indisputable fact and Deep State fiction (otherwise known as government propaganda.)

Alas, we are all of us, each and every one, cast under a spell of that insidious Deep State enchantment. The Maleficent Ministers of Misinformation have placed us in a trance; enthralling man, woman and child with words and images that hold us in a fitful slumber. It is a place of bad dreams and the staccato vibration of fear.

We are the generations that must adapt to these painful changes. And there is no short term action taken by any of our governments that can alter the bad outcomes. They have tried, and failed..

Our politicians — those who would lead us, those who make the laws that govern our lives — have mostly sold out to the lobbyists and peddlers of graft and corruption. As we see daily, those with the deepest pockets with which to buy the votes are those who reap the rewards of these ill-gotten gains.

This is not conspiracy theory run amok. Instead, it is the coherent map of reality about which I spoke about at the beginning of this rant.

It is time to “Get Out Of Dodge” for those who can. The Dark Days are upon us.

MA, yes, at some point in time we were all immigrants, including the red asses, who themselves displaced some unworthy tribe, in their quest to be the dominate force, which is all the more argument against yielding to the “Diversity is our strength” meme , because it most certainly is not.
European Christian culture, and no other, begat the philosophy of God-given natural law and thus indidual liberty and equality. Once destroyed -and that seem to be the objective here- there may never be another occurrence of the freedom propagated and enjoyed by Western man ever to brighten God’s green earth again. Nothing less is at stake.
