I read a really great 7-part piece regarding women’s attraction to Alpha males to breed and Beta males to “settle” down with.
Alpha males get the youngest, pretties, healthiest females for sex. Sex typically leads to children, but with modern birth control and women putting off having children until much older than in past decades, that leaves older, less desirable females vying for the attention of Alpha males.
A man has a longer “shelf life”. This is true whether you want to believe it or not. Men are programmed at a DNA level to be attracted to women from the time they show signs of physical maturity to about 25 and then their physical appeal pretty much wanes. So women tuck, botox, lipo, dye, and inject their way to a longer shelf life.
The other way to even the playing field is eliminate the Alphas. Turn all of ’em into Betas. So now we have a whole bunch of whiny, kow-towing males who will do anything to get any female in bed, have a safe, warm roof over their head, and be told what to do.
And by turning the younger females into ever-increasing robots only caring about what the Kardashians are doing, who’s tweeting about whom, and what happened to their thousand-and-one BFF’s on FB, those women are zero threat to older, wiser, better employed females.
This does not make for a safe, productive society. Rather than constantly ignore our biology and it’s drives, we need to understand a better way to meld them into our modern world.
Just because men don’t have to go out with spears and hunt down supper doesn’t mean the don’t have the need to do so.
Male biological drive to protect, provide, and procreate is still there, and women’s drive to nurture, nourish, and nurse is also. Instead of making it a bad thing, we can use our innate strength to work together.
But that won’t happen, because the sheep are being led to the slaughter.
I am a proud social justice warrior. I am totally onboard with the Free the Nipple movement. Everywhere but on TBP of course.
