Why didn’t the clerk and customer try reasoning with the agitated hatchet wielding attacker? Why didn’t they just wait for the 2nd responder heroes to arrive in 20 minutes to draw the chalk outlines around their bodies? A customer shot and killed a hatchet-wielding man attacking a clerk at a convenience store in Burien Sunday morning.

A customer shot and killed a hatchet-wielding man attacking a clerk at a convenience store in Burien on Sunday morning.
About 5:45 a.m., a masked man about 40 years old walked into a 7-Eleven store near South 110th Street and Eighth Avenue South and swung a hatchet at a customer, said King County Sheriff’s Sgt. Cindi West. The man then went behind the counter and attacked the 58-year-old clerk, never saying anything.
Within seconds, a customer pulled out a handgun and shot and killed the attacker, likely saving the clerk’s life, West said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 60-year-old customer buys coffee from the store almost every morning, West said, and he sits and chats with the clerks. He has a permit to carry a concealed handgun, West said.
The clerk who was attacked told a KIRO 7 reporter that he would have been killed had it not been for the customer. The regular customer is a “very nice” guy, the clerk said.
The clerk has a minor injury on his stomach, West said.
The identities of the three people involved were not released.
An investigation is continuing.

This story was shown on CNN and other MSM outlets. A similar story, also recent, was one of a Mississippi family who was taken hostage in their home by an escaped murder suspect. The wife somehow got hold of a firearm owned by her family and shot the guy. She handed the pistol to the husband (who had been stabbed by the murder suspect), who shot him further and killed him.
What I notice when such news are shown on MSM is:
– the anti-2nd Amendment extremists are absolutely silent; their attacks on the right to keep & to bear arms are nowhere to be seen, and they say nothing about gun control, etc
– the comments sections of such news praise the righteous self-defense protagonists, but a few say they will go to prison on murder because they weren’t in mortal danger when they fired at the armed robbers/rapists/burglars
– these news NEVER make national news the way “mass shootings” or “hate crimes” do
Because… there is ALWAYS an agenda and such news do not fit with that agenda. They are therefore relegated to secondary or tertiary status.

For that matter, mass murders seem to just sort of disappear from the MSM reporting when it turns out the killer was a protected species.
Like that Kansas one where 5 people were killed, turns out it was a formerly deported illegal that did it and that not only was he back in this country but the authorities had two additional chances since his return to prosecute him for returning or at least return him again.
Something that hasn’t received much attention outside of minor mention in the news you have to look for.
Anonymous, that’s something I’ve noticed myself. This, among other factors, is a trend that has been happening for quite sometime, and it is definitely a reason that many are supporting Donald Trump. Ironically, many who are upset/fed up with the status quo aren’t even racist/bigoted. They’re just tired of the unequal and unfair standards.
With more equity and impartiality, Trump might not have as many votes as he’s getting. So, if this skewed portrayal of the news was done in the name of “justice,” it’s backfired – tremendously.

Modern Chronicler, indeed it has backfired. Likewise, the decision to involve the Blank Lives Matter gang in the staged disruptions of Trump’s rallies is also going to backfire badly. I don’t know who is responsible, be it MoveOn or whomever, but the potential for extreme violence will continue to grow in lockstep with the frequency of their disruptions.
