THE WALL

Democrats love illegal immigrants pouring over the border. More Democrat voters with no IDs and more free shit army members to redistribute your tax dollars to. What’s not to love?

All in all it was just a brick in the wall
All in all it was all just bricks in the wall

Meh, I don’t think its necessary. Punish businesses who employ illegals and actively start deporting them when we find them.

Until we fix those problems shit will still keep being stupid.

Oh, and reduce the number of H1B Visas being issues, wtf is up with that shit.

TPC,

That isn’t going to happen.

I expect it to be made illegal to inquire of the immigration status of an applicant in the first place, not require any sort of check to see if they are here legally and allowed to work or not.

Probably under the guise of racial equality or something for an excuse, sort of like they’ve made it illegal to refuse to rent to criminals because it is racist to so so.

I may be stupid, but as a small businessman who has never hired an illegal even though I work in construction and our industry is full of illegals………..why don’t we as a nation want illegals to become legal?

Again, I may be stupid or naive but once legal they have to pay the taxes that support illegals, wouldn’t that cut down on illegals flooding the country to get all the free shit?

Make paying into our entitlement system the wall.

They are more than just voters to the Democrats…illegal immigrants represent a retirement plan. The illegals, once magically deemed “legal”, will provide taxable income to a broken system, thus allowing the can to be kicked just a little bit further down the road. But what they fail to realize, just as the European’s failed to realize, is once they get a taste of entitlements…they will no longer work for a living. Europe is now supporting invading slack-asses as well as feral slack-asses.

“I’d like to buy the world a Coke, and keep it company…” har!

Card, many illegals who come here to work wind up paying into the social security system without getting credit for the contributions.

They put up a wall in the middle of Berlin — remember how things turned out with that. I’m not saying that history would be repeating itself here — just rhyming a little.

It seemslike it would be a waste of money. TPC has the right idea — unfortunately, that would take willpower rather than wallpower.

Somebody else will say that they also collect more in welfare and free medical than they pay into the system.

Dammit, the Ruskies imposed the wall on Berlin, not that the Germans erected it to keep their brothers out. That’s a false analogy. If you want to argue against it, talk about the costs. 2000 miles of border with bends and turns that make it twice that length times 40 feet high (the wall just got higher) times 1 million per mile.

TPC, maybe they don’t ask at all sites, they asked me, after nearly 30 years on the job, they asked still once more.

It’s not a crime to claim US citizenship unless you said that to a BP officer. Then you get banned for life once they have you in the system. And they keep records like a woman, oops wookie, my new term for women of the female persuasion.

Oh I see……the illegals break more laws and have to pay.

“Illegal workers pay into Social Security in at least two ways:

1: those illegal workers that provide false Social Security numbers to employers have taxes withheld including FICA.

2: some illegal workers file U.S. tax returns after obtaining a temporary tax identification number (not a social security number) by filing a Form W-7.

So obama is trying to fix it so all illegals have ‘lawfully present’ status and thereby be granted immediate eligibility to SS retirement and disability, Medicare, and all da rest of dat free shit.

Because he thinks the clause in the Constitution that reads “”(H)e shall take care that the laws be faithfully executed.”

Means he must take care off undocumented democrats (illegals) first.

The criminal ruling class wants less and less social cohesion in society . Less cohesion less trust .Remember Hispanics are not just one race or ethnic group. There’s multiple ethnic groups ,nationalities as well as languages that are considered Hispanic . The ruling class is doing their best to make America one big cluster fuck of divided people so we will never be able to unite against the real criminals. A civil war is probably what they are hoping for. Even if America breaks apart the ruling class will still keep most of their wealth. How many trillions of dollars do they have right now sitting in off shorebank accounts ?

Card,

legalizing the illegals will not produce a net input to our system, it will increase the number, amount and ease of obtaining more entitlements they will receive.

But, on the positive side, it will allow millions and millions of FSA voters for the Democrats.

At least on the positive side when viewing the system from the Leftist perspective, not so much from the other side (the one that is expected to pay for it).

“legalizing the illegals will not produce a net input to our system, it will increase the number, amount and ease of obtaining more entitlements they will receive.”

Maybe you’re right, but all I see is the number of illegals in my area and my industry. I live in West Michigan.

The seasonal fruit pickers have taken root and turned into drywallers, painters, and carpenters, they come to work everyday on time, work hard and seem solid family loving, life loving individuals.

Contrasted with the black element in town, uneducated, pissed off, no family structure, job? If they can’t make it as a rapper, sports star or drug dealer, welfare…

We are slowing making the Latino race the new black race by holding them back and when they are held back they will grab at the first lifeline thrown, even if it’s a very weak line.

Card, employers cut checks to workers — they have to withhold FICA, and match it. Many illegals make up SSNs so they can get paychecks. The money goes into the system, and the fake numbers don’t ever draw benefits, unless some criminal is able to put the pieces together.

Coyote, I was answering Cards question. It obviously had had no impact on the problem.

Also, from your comments about Berlin, I take it you agree with me — a Mexican Border Wall would be an exercise in futility, ultimately self-defeating, a PR nightmare, and a terrible waste of money time and resources, just like the Berlin Wall turned out to be. That is the rhyme with history, and it is, I believe, a very pertinent comparison.

Dismantling the multi-generational free-shit welfare system, including sending dumb asses to college, would go a long way toward solving the illegal problem. In fact, if the economy wasn’t in such shambles, we’d probably need guest workers/temp workers from foreign countries.

There will never be a wall built. We are, on this continent, the North American
Union. Get used to that one.

Further, we are “welfare central” so naturally we will attract immigrants that believe
they can take advantage of that system.

Mexican people are not the problem. It seems the endless fight against illegal drugs
are creating criminals that seek to control the trade.

Criminals are a problem. And we have a bounty of those, without ever even considering
any Mexican peoples. So…there is no solution. There isn’t meant to be one.

“Card, employers cut checks to workers — they have to withhold FICA, and match it. Many illegals make up SSNs so they can get paychecks.”

Agreed, but (there’s always a big butt) not every employer pays an illegal by check. Cash.

No taxes paid, except for sales tax, but lots of free stuff paid for by the taxpayer.

There was a case here in Bay City Mich a few years ago.

WWII Vet, dementia, had a hard time remembering to pay his bills on time so the city put a lock on his electric meter.
The idea was when the power went off he would have to go outside and reset the meter to remind him he was behind.
The problem was the city never told the guy about the lock on the meter.

He was found by his nephew in bed frozen to death with the money to pay the electric bill paper clipped to the envelope on the kitchen table. It was so cold his water pipes had froze and icicles had formed on the faucets.

Here was a guy who worked his entire life, was a medic in WWII, paid his taxes his entire life, froze to death because he was as CNN put it, chronically behind in his utility payments.

The guy had fucking Alzheimer’s.

Now, if he were an illegal?

He wouldn’t have even received a bill because he no speakie english and some government program would have just paid the bill for him.

Contrary to what some may say, building a wall is not going to imprison us in our own country. Hardly. Trump is not suggesting that the numerous official entry/exit locations from Brownsville, Texas to San Diego, California be closed up. You will still be free to access Mexico through those points. Trump’s wall will seal off the often uninhabited desert hinterlands between those points where illegals come and go as they please. These are not areas that the normal American would choose to cross over unless he/she was running from something.

No, no one will be imprisoned. Besides being able to continue to use the access points that exist now, we’ll still be free to catch a flight to Mexico City, Paris, or London. We’ll still be free to leave the east and west coast by boat or plane, and we’ll still be free to cross over into Canada for a vacation should we feel the urge. A wall will not imprison us, it will simply make it a bit more difficult for illegals to gain entry to the U.S. Denying them welfare benefits sounds like a good idea, but we all know the politicians will cave to left wing pressure on that.

I have no problem with Mexicans and South Americans coming into the U.S. in a legal fashion. Anything less is a spit in the eye to those who have done just that. My daughter in law is Danish by birth and just got her U.S. citizenship last month. She was made to jump through many hoops that Mexicans are not, simply because she is a white European and thus doesn’t rate highly on this administration’s wish list of foreigners to bring us multiculturalism and diversity.

Build that wall, Mr. Trump. No more illegal Democrats and free-shitters. Immigrants welcome – so long as they play by the rules – like the rest of us.

Anyone saying the Wall would be expensive has no idea what real money is. I think Trump’s latest estimate was $10-14 billion. At $1,000 / linear foot, it’d be ~ $11 billion. That’s 1/4 of 1% of the federal budget. It’s about 1 day’s federal spending. Even if it didn’t stop anybody (which it would), who cares about a lousy $10-15 billion? That’s NOTHING. You guys do realize there are 700 million people south of that border, right? To say nothing of all of the others who could make their way to Mexico from anywhere else in the world. Do you think we Americans should get say in who gets to immigrate to the US? Or are we the one country in the world that’s suppose to let in any undocumented, potentially illiterate, potentially criminal, potentially terrorist, potentially disease-infected person who can scamper across our wide-open border in the middle of the night? Jesus H Christ, I can’t believe some of the stupid comments above. Spend the money. Build the wall. Hillary and Paul RINO and Bernie and Kasich aren’t afraid that the wall wouldn’t work. They’re afraid that it would.

Wow, you broke it down to linear feet. I had $1 Mil per mile X 2000 mi = $2 Bil X 2 = $4 Billion.

I believe that’s how much they spent on the cash for clunkers program. Instead of destroying them, we could have piled them up on the border. The wall wont be any prettier.

You really are passionate about this wall, Iska. You used to be such a carefree spirit, what happened? You should seek counseling. Because the wall will be built but it wont be completed in our lifetime.

Are you losing sleep worrying about that one illegal getting through tonight? You are aware that people are actually living and eating right now without a care in the world that you exist?

April 7, 2016 10:11 pm

Bob, A few people would go under it or over it. Many more would be stopped by it – compared to leaving it as it is. The Berlin wall stopped most everyone who would have wanted to get past it.

Coyote, I’m not worrying about one illegal tonight. I’m worried about 15 million more over the next 10 years. But mostly the lack of a wall offends all common sense. For a lousy $10-20 billion we could cut illegal immigration from south of the border by at least 80%. If we want to let Mexicans & others from further south immigrate to the US, we should be able to set whatever criteria we want and any would-be immigrants should apply for a visa like everybody else in the world. I’m not a believer in that Aztlán bullshit. We stole this country fair and square. Anyone who wants in now should have to get our OK, whether they’re from Mexico, Ireland or Guinea-Bissau. That’s how countries like Canada & Australia do it. They let in people who are gong to help them, not be a drain. Lastly, I don’t care whether anyone knows that I exist, and I haven’t been carefree for a long fucking time, unfortunately.

We are experiencing such frustration in our lives
as we realize we have been lied to, the country is
being decimated and the middle class is dissolving.

We rightfully have an anger over illegal immigrants
coming over the border and receiving benefits when
citizens here are in financial despair…but it is happening!
I maintain no wall be built, regardless the cost, or politician’s
promises.

Iska Waran says:
“The Berlin wall stopped most everyone who would have wanted to get past it.”

Actually the Berlin Wall did not stop anyone from crossing, it simply marked the border. The east German border patrol with their German Shepard’s and the east German army stopped the people from crossing.

The problem is not a wall or lack thereof……….it’s the lack of desire to enforce border control laws by those wielding the levers of power that is the problem.

As someone said above…….it’s not our country anymore. It’s owned and controlled by someone else.

When I first moved to the UK in 1989 we put our dog into a kennel facility as required by law. The kennel was filled with former east German border patrol dogs……mostly German Shepard’s. The Brits were importing them as breeding stock. These dogs were unlike any other German Shepard’s I’ve ever seen before or since. They were quite a bit bigger than any GS and mean as fuck! The family that owned the kennel hired a couple of east German breeders just to handle these beasts as they were afraid to work with them at all.

Funny thing was that I don’t think those big brutes had ever seen a sweet little dog like our Cocker Spaniel. When we showed up to visit her, the border patrol dogs would go off like a bomb….barking, lunging at the gates and fences etc. Once we got inside where our dog was, it was beyond loud. After a quick greeting our little dog would bark once and the whole place would go quiet. The kennel our dog was in had former east German dogs on either side of her and they seemed absolutely fascinated by her. If we got near the fence the Shepard’s would freak but when she walked over they instantly calmed down and displayed no threatening behavior at all. Females have all the control!

I find it funny in a way when people say a wall want work. The government of Israel and Saudi Arabia think otherwise. Both have built fences completely surrounding parts of their countries. The terrorists attacks don’t occur nearly as much in Israel. Also these fences are keeping out unwanted Africans which are then heading towards Europe.
