I’m thinking if the Bern gets elected and he manages to push through “free” health care, “free” education and who knows what else “free”, how many productive people will just say “fuck it” and quit producing. We’ve got no debt and could live pretty good on welfare.

@Admin: An honest beancounter would demonstrate how these numbers were calculated, rather than taking them at face value. I mean, how the hell does Trump intend on “paying off the national debt” in six years while cutting taxes at the same time? If you really believe this, you’re falling for the same old shit the GOP has always dished out.
And in Bernie’s case, it’s not fair to say taxes will increase under his plan without netting out the benefits derived from those taxes.

Bringing industry and taxpaying jobs back to the United States, making Europe pay for its own defense instead of us paying 2/3 (or more) of it, and getting rid of free stuff handouts to the non productive that could be filling the repatriated jobs is one way.
That is pretty much what Trump advocates, along with several other things like addressing the hugely costly illegal alien problem we have that keeps wages down and eats welfare money the way a ravenous tiger devours its kill.
