When They Killed JFK They Killed America

Guest Post by Paul Craig Roberts

In the JFK administration I was a White House Fellow. In those days it was a much larger program than the small insider program it later became. President Kennedy’s intention was to involve many young Americans in government in order to keep idealism alive as a counter to the material interests of lobby groups. I don’t know if the program still exists. If it does, the idealism that was its purpose is long gone.

President John F. Kennedy was a classy president. In my lifetime there has not been another like him. Indeed, today he would be impossible.

Conservatives and Republicans did not like him, because he was thoughtful. Their favorite weapon against him was their account of his love life, which according to them involved Mafia molls and Marilyn Monroe. They must have worked themselves into fits of envy over Marilyn Monroe, the hottest woman of her time.

Unlike most presidents, Kennedy was able to break with the conventional thinking of the time. From his experience with the Bay of Pigs, Cuban Missile Crisis, and the Joint Chiefs’ “Operaton Northwoods,” Kennedy concluded that CIA Director Allen Dulles and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Lemnitzer were both crazed by anti-communism and were a danger to Americans and the world.

Kennedy removed Dulles as CIA director, and he removed Lemnitzer as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, thus setting in motion his own assassination. The CIA, the Joint Chiefs, and the Secret Service concluded that JFK was “soft on communism.” So did the Bill Buckley conservatives.

JFK was assassinated because of anti-communist hysteria in the military and security agencies. The Warren Commission was well aware of this. The coverup was necessary because America was locked into a Cold War with the Soviet Union. To put US military, CIA, and Secret Service personnel on trial for murdering the President of the United States would have shaken the confidence of the American people in their own government.

Oswald had nothing whatsoever to do with JFK’s assassination. That is why Oswald was himself assassinated inside the Dallas jail before he could be questioned.

For those of you too young to have experienced John Kennedy and those of you who have forgot his greatness, do yourselves a favor and listen to this 5 minute, 23 second speech. Try to imagine anyone among the current dolts giving a speech like this. Look how much is said so well in less than 5 and one-half minutes.

Kennedy intended to pull the US out of Vietnam once he was reelected. He intended to break up the CIA “into one thousand pieces” and curtail the military-security complex that was exploiting the US budget.

And that is why he was murdered. The evil that resides in Washington does not only kill foreign leaders who try to do the right thing, but also its own.

Here is JFK’s speech: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YafZkjiMpjU

Speculation, and no more valid than anyone else’s speculation.

Way too much stuff is still being kept secret to claim one opinion is right and another wrong, maybe this will change sometime in the future but for now everything is just speculation.

Great article.

Fortunately we still have intelligent, brave and founded and deep knowledge of things like you Paul, allowing us to see beyond the great matrix in which people seek to remain.

Thanks for that Paul.

Kennedy was a classy president. Bullshit . He was a multiple adulterer which makes him a liar and deceiver. Start right there.

Anon…..just about every issue is speculation.

JFK was assassinated, but not by Oswald.
The Lusitania sinking was purposely allowed to occur for U.S. entry into WW1.
Pearl Harbor was known in advance and allowed to occur for U.S. entry into WW2.
Gulf of Tonkin #2 did not occur, but the lie allowed full undeclared war into Vietnam.
09-11 was an inside job; WTC’s 1, 2, and 7 were planned demolitions.
Note: I remember on TV on 09-11 that I saw (whether live or a vid clip) a big plane plowing into the Pentagon. Maybe I just can’t find it , but I cannot locate that clip on the internet. Makes me suspicious, as a doctored clip can be examined and found to be fake.

Believe me, I found each of these hard to swallow – most of my life I saw our government as the Knight in Shining Armor for the world. I don’t like being used.

The creepiest thing I heard about JFK was his ordering a young intern to blow his aid – David Powers – in JFK’s presence. http://theweek.com/articles/478313/jfk-sexscandal-memoir-4-explosive-takeaways I don’t want to watch any of my friends being serviced. If Rafael Cruz felt the need to help kill JFK, I honestly don’t have a problem with it.

Twice JFK’s dalliances were with know foreign intelligence agents; A Nazi and a Communist. He was a dirt bag at best, along with his family. As far as PCR is concerned, I think he’s become a caricature of a formerly relevant voice, now reliably unhinged and predictable.

“Kennedy intended to pull the US out of Vietnam once he was reelected.”
—-Paul Craig Roberts

Hmmm. Try these facts.

1) From 1955-1960 (Ike’s second term), there was an increase from 750 to 1,500 U.S. military advisors in South Vietnam.

2) From 1961-1963 (JFK), there was an increase from 1,500 to 16,000 (!!!!) U.S. military advisors in South Vietnam.

3) In February 1961, less than a month after taking office, JFK nearly tripled the military aid sent to South Vietnam’s army, from $50 million to $144 million. A year later, JFK formed the U.S. Military Assistance Command Vietnam (MACV), which morphed into the U.S. military command structure for the rest of the Vietnam War.

4) At the time of JFK’s assassination, U.S. military aid to South Vietnam exceeded $1 million per day. And JFK was spending MORE than that on non-military aid, such as “pacification” of village hamlets, which didn’t even exist during the days of Harry and Ike.

Now, I ask you, dear reader, do any of these documented facts point to a president that “intended to pull out of Vietnam,” as Paul Craig Roberts asserts? You have to be a fool to answer yes.

Fortunately, I still have the freedom to call you a total, fucking idiot.

I was not even born. So I have no reference for the ‘times’, its all fable and mythology to me. The weakest though, seems to be the reported fable, JFK hater with gun, in turn killed by super fan with gun. Neat.

JFK was a deeply flawed person, as we all are. He voted against the 1957 civil rights bill that directly led to the riots all across this country in the early 60’s. But he was already runnin for president then and couldn’t alienate the ‘Bull Connor’ wing of the party. Epic failure.
But he cut taxes and was strong on defense and said ” Ask not what your country can do for you, but ask what you can do for your country”, ideas that would get him run out of today’s democratic party on a rail. And his performance during the ’13’ days in October of 62 was brilliant and possibly saved the world from nuclear war. It certainly made up for his getting pushed around by Dulles during the Bay of Pigs fiasco.
And Oswald did kill Kennedy. There were no other bullets from any other gun. Everything matched up to Oswald’s gun. Which he was on record buying. And there was no denying he was in the school book building, he worked there. Our country’s treatment of him after he denounced Amerika and fled to the Soviet Union, only to return soon after, certainly raises questions. He should have been detained and had to explain himself better.
But he was the lone gunman. The Kennedy’s had inside knowledge and now way could they be shut up if the govt was involved. They would have known.

If you check out the writings of Miles Mathias he follows that JFK was never murdered and goes over several photos to prove his point. I enjoy his writings and how he pours over photos to explain his theories. Enjoy.
