MERCURY IN MOTION

It only happens a few times a century: the smallest planet in our solar system is passing between the Earth and the Sun, allowing us a rare glimpse of Mercury in motion.

The most awesome thing about that video is not Mercury. It’s the sun.

I agree with SSS — the Sun is shown to in all its amazing scale. Poor Mercury is literally a little speck – a punctuation mark for the solar system.

Greetings,

People just do not realize that over 99% of everything in our solar system is the Sun. You could put more than a million Earths inside of the Sun. The Sun is the source of our “climate” and is the only driver of weather on our very tiny Earth. Of course, there are many that wish you to believe that Washington D.C. is in charge of all that stuff but it is a lie.
