If I was single with no family obligations, I would certainly consider Russia as an option. Why not? Lots of white people, virtually zero kneegrows. Enormous amounts of space, and a government that doesn’t have 10,000 felonies listed on its registry. And (Orthodox) Christianity is making a huge comeback.

Plus, on the off chance that there’s any truth whatsoever to the global warming scare, you’re in the biggest country in the world (by far) – much of which has heretofore been colder than optimal (by most people’s reckoning). Russia not only needn’t waste any time, money or effort on stopping global warming. They should encourage it. And this guy, as a part-white, part-aboriginal-American will fit right in with the Russians. DNA testing has already corroborated that Native Americans are related to people in the Asian portion of Russia.
Funny; I was just thinking the other day that Russia would be on my shortlist of countries to consider, if I *had* to leave the U.S. Part of that is because one set of grandparents were Volga Deutsch, but also because, generally, the people of Russia are some of the strongest, most like-minded people in the world. I could relate more to them than to almost any other culture.

Re: 100 million native Americans killed by the European invaders. When the feckless Pilgrims arrived the native population had already been more than decimated by diseases dropped off by earlier Euro visitors. The clueless pilgrims survived their first winter on food that had been preserved and stored by dead Indians. No one really knows how many native people lived on the continent, but there was an extensive trading network which served to spread the new diseases to natives with zero immunity. Just as the waterways and boat traffic spread Aids through much of Africa.
With the huge trade network currently in the world, if there ever was a new lethal disease like the pandemic flu of 1918, the number of dead would be insane. Good thing that can’t happen again…. oh wait….
The Russian Mob would likely shake-down any immigrants who smelled of a little money. And they will know that anybody from the U.S. would have to have their own retirement nest egg because the Russian government isn’t so stupid as to provide for immigrants like the U.S. does.
Plus, they have that fucked-up Cyrillic alphabet which will make learning the language more difficult.

He’s exactly right about the US being a police state. That’s what it is. It has been a fascist government since FDR, and maybe memories of how much better it was are just memories of when the state hadn’t yet grown into what it is now.
It’s pretty well fully grown now and the end game of the controllers is starting to play out. We’re going to see it for what it is pretty soon now.
