Actually, while I’m just a family doc, plenty of OB/GYN patients have encountered me during visits at the supermarket, the post office, etc. Few mature White, Black, or Hispanic women are bothered by speaking with those of us who see them in our communities.

I’ve seen my doc around town. I asked him to give me the rectal probe right there on the spot so I could skip getting a physical. He didn’t mind, but his daughter seemed a little weirded out by it.
