Tragic and unfortunate, an instance of child abuse in any global society is unpardonable. An act of physical and sexual molestation, events of neglect, trying to imbibe forced disciple at an early age, threats and warnings, all of these constituently define child abuse.
With every passing day, child abuse seems to be growing like an epidemic with as many as 3 million cases of child abuse reported annually. With such alarming figures, criminal law calls for a stricter impose and harsher penalties with immediate effect.
Child neglect is seen at an early stage. Hard to decipher but it hits a child hard on emotional level if it continues for a considerable time. Physical attacks in the name of punishing a child for wrong actions is also hidden and justified by those who engage in this.
Sexual harassment and threats have an explicit side and can be identified relatively easily. However a collective effort needs to be adopted to discourage people for getting involved in child abuse. Laws and sentence does their bit but its important to realize the serious repercussions it has, especially for all-round growth and development of the child.

Physical abuse and sexual abuse are the worst. I cannot comprehend how anyone could harm a child; they are the most wonderful evidence of real humanity.
We could always solve it the way the Muslims do, don’t call it abuse call it religion and righteous action in the eyes of Allah.
